Rib City, Venice FL

This is the go to place for my wife. BBQ beans are delicious. We haven't a bad meal there. Excellent service, great price.

Best bbq between north port and venice. Get baby back ribs, with loaded potatoe, and Baked beans. Worth the visit.

They sat us down at a booth and forgot about us. After almost 20 minutes, we got up and left. They never even came over to take our drink order or anything. I tried to say something when we were walking out and no one wanted to make eye contact with us. We went down the street to a competitor and had great food with exceptional service. We will never go back

Christine is usually our server and she is great, so are the other servers! We love Rib City and enjoy going there, we travel 40 minutes at least once a month to visit! Food and service is always right on point!

I've been going here for years. The last couple of years' food quality has declined. Pork, turkey, and ribs were dry and overcooked.
Wait staff was great and friendly.
Also, their prices have gone up substantially.
Eight onion rings were almost $8.00. Other meals were high for type and quality of food.
We have driven from Bradenton to Venice to come here for years.
We'll save the drive and go to our local Sonny's, better food, better prices.
Too bad, we loved this place.

Wait staff was nice but food was cold even with a near empty restaurant. This was the rib city in Venice Florida. It's a shame since we have been going to rib city for over 30 years.

The ribs were good and the service was not slow. The atmosphere was a little dull, but that is fine it is aimed at giving a quieter setting for eating.

Went there with my In-laws for lunch Food was outstanding and we all had a very good time.
