Richard’s Pet Friendly Motel, Hollywood FL

I don’t understand the bad reviews. The place is a bit old but I enjoy old. They have a great pet area right outside that is gated. We were left alone and it was really quiet. The room is more spacious it’s like having a studio appt and I love that I can park right outside my room and not go down an elevator or flight of stairs. The price is very reasonable. I understand some of the cautions they take because some customers can be bad people up to no good and they want good customers. Everything in the room worked if it doesn’t we can go get someone to fix it. Cause last time I was here the man came and fixed the lock and remote was very friendly. I will stay here every time I’m in the Miami area.

We stayed in 2019 and wow These people made us stress so much. They are loyal to Canadians which whatever but we were there paying every week. They made us stress about moving to different area constantly. I would never stay here again. Ever. It could be better and the rooms are very outdated.

People do not realize how damming a bad review is! I am looking to visit Hollywood beach and when looking for a place. I read all comments first!
I suggest that the owners do the same and make changes!

Was in a desperate situation and I needed a place for one night. They helped me out and even gave me a really good discount. Room was very nice and clean. Cleaner than most of hotels I’ve been at ‍️

Only pet friendly if you a have a tea cup.
Called said no reservations that I had to go there and ask about my pet. Said no problem but first come first serve.
45 minutes out of my way and was told my 32 pound day was too big. Would have been nice if the information would have been shared. I say NO! NO! Go somewhere else!

I wouldn't recommend people coming here and spending money. First time there my my last time there. Very disappointed!

Loved this quaint place that was near to where I needed it to be to get a great night's rest, also pet friendly and many locations in the area.

It’s ridiculous that a place of business is being ran by the most unprofessional staff ever. I called to see what are the 4 weeks rates as advertised, but instead of get this information, I encountered a rude male staff member that said rudely they don’t have 4 weeks rates. I asked is this something that was changed, since it’s still being advertised and the rude staff hung up on me. I immediately called back to receive no answer. I’m extremely glad, I didn’t spend my hard earned money here.

This place is horrible god forbid if u wsnt vlean towels or even more than one the maid staff is the nasty cold hearted hatians you will ever meet in your life. They don't clean rooms the spray air fresher and wipe it around on floor snd call it clesn I bought a bottle of bleach And the black grout turned white from mold then the air filters have never been cleaned or changed and if u bring it yo management attention they literally eill kick u out of motel and say they dont want ur business or make up lies to get u thrown out when u already paid for ur room

Very rude office staff. 1st told to reserve online. Did that. Now they have no reservations for our arrival. Then the rude guy hung up on me. I will spend my money elsewhere. Another disappointment in a local business.

Stayed there about two weeks and living there was very uncomfortable because first day I noticed floor was soo dirty so I couldn't walk without shoes there and bathroom was not clean. And working staff were unfriendly and didn't want to help even change towels in the room or wipe floor in the room at least once a week. It was very hard to ask for clean towels and wipe floor at least once a week even I gave housekeeping $5 and $10. Stuff were very unfriendly and very rude and room was very dirty and with roaches. Very uncomfortable.

Have service dogs needed paperwork and 100 questions and finally get a room flight was delayed home and tried to extend and said nope rooms full when you were still booking room online. Then to be told its 109.95 for the room when its 49 on ur site. If i could give negative stars i would

Landscape and exotic animals and staff was overall good however the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and worst yet i had to keep the bathroom light on to avoid the family of cockroaches that were crawling about everywhere when the lights were off. Kind of freaked me out didmt say anything bc I read that tbere chemicals almost killed another
Persons dog. Would be much better experience with a little $ investment in New beds and non toxic bug spray thats not harmful to animals.customer dog. A

The young girl at the front desk of the main hotel on Federal was incredibly rude and cannot speak English.

Farrah was very nice and polite and assisted me and my husband in a fast and friendly matter I really hope her good work doesn’t goes unnoticed I will most definitely be back soon the rooms are very nice and clean good job ms farrah️
