Listen to the negative reviews. They lie and pretend the place is nice and once u get in. They don’t answer when u need maitnence, and they are extremely rude. Bunch of drug addicts live here and the cops are here multiple times a week arresting people. The walls are paper thin and you hear yelling and screaming all night long. The manager will do NOTHING to help u once she has ur money. Theres a million other apartments in the area. Pick any of them and u will be better off.

I have lived in this complex for 4 years! When the new management took over this place has completely gone down hill! I do not recommend it to anyone! Way better management properties in Sarasota than this one!

So much potential, but so many things wrong here. The grounds are not kept up, and resident's do not pick up after their dogs. We aren't able to even walk in the grass without stepping in dog poop on a regular basis, it's gross. Empty promises about fixing issues, many broken amenities, and unkept grounds. For the amount of money we pay to live here, this is just unacceptable.

* Added stars for Maintenance, as they are always nice and work hard to fix apartment issues in a timely manner.

Do not move here if you care about your mental health. Not only are these apartments nightmarish to live in considering the paper thin walls radiating every noise possible that echoes throughout a building with enclosed hallways, but the Owner/Company/Management are disgusting how they have no regard for the concerns of the people they make money off of. I had a neighbor keeping me up all throughout the night the whole time living here and while I tried many times to get help from the Manager, she did nothing and just said to me that she can’t tell people how to live their lives! This place is non peaceful, a free for all for drama and full of disruptive tenants that do not follow the rules! Literally anything goes! Police are frequently seen here. Read all the negative reviews please! Any good reviews are fake. Every negative review here somehow magically is followed up by 2 more good reviews.there’s a pattern don’t be fooled. Living here for 2 years has been a huge mistake that I’m hoping to recover from. Save yourself the set back of living here because what you get does not even the slightest bit come close to what you are paying for. One last thing for example, Security cameras do not work indefinitely, doors to buildings don’t lock, front gate and amenities are always broken.

Thieves! Wish I could give -100. I toured the townhomes with Diane. She told me to go online and apply and if I went 7 days out for a move in date from when the apartment was available I would get $300 off. It was available Friday, Oct 27 so I went out 7 days for a move in date of Friday, Nov 3. I did not see a $300 credit on the lease before signing so I questioned it and Diane stated Friday to Friday is 8 days. Umm really since when? So then she states she could move it up 1 day but that it would actually cost more because 1 day of living there is more than $300 which was incorrect its only $73 so I proceeded with having her change the move in date to a day early. Then she stated the new lease would not be ready for a week but I needed to send another $300 deposit (already paid $285). I was not about to put more money down without seeing the lease as she was very incompetent so I decided not to move forward with leasing the townhome. $200 of the $285 was supposed to be refunded if canceled within 3 days of application or if denied. It was within the 3 business days and now there saying you only get that back if you are denied. Nobody will answer my calls or return my calls. I literally have never met anyone slower than Diane these good reviews about her have got to be fake. So glad we did not move forward with this place. Plan on them stealing all your money. Be aware! We will see them in small claims court.

I just moved in and I love it here, very nice community and it is maintained very good as well. Diane did a great job giving me a tour and helping me choose an apartment and also with filling out the lease. Highly recommend!

Not everyone is an expert in this technology world, and Diane took the time and patience to walk me through the application process and made me feel at ease and comfortable. Jasen, went out of his way to assist me in all my questions and was very nice. Both love their jobs and it shows. I am extremely excited to move into my new home.

While the unit itself boasts commendable qualities, there is a conspicuous need for enhancement in the management department. Regrettably, my attempts to engage with them have consistently fallen short, characterized by an inability to elicit a response through phone calls or voicemail messages, even after persistent daily attempts during their designated staff hours. Furthermore, visiting the office yields unpredictable results, requiring me to endure extended waiting periods of 10-15 minutes before gaining access to a staff member.

This experience stands in stark contrast to my previous residence, where I enjoyed a flourishing relationship with the management team, fostering a sense of belonging within a cooperative and supportive community. It is with profound disappointment that I acknowledge the absence of such an environment in my current living arrangement.

I thoroughly enjoyed living at Ridgelake. The staff is amazing, friendly, helpful and genuinely seem happy to work here. The community is always kept clean and orderly. Particularly a fan of the quiet relaxing pool and the brand new nice coffee machine. Would highly recommend this apartment community!

Best complex with the best pool and gym! Diane at the leasing office helped me navigate the process site unseen. The longboat town home is great. It’s like living in a resort community. The ability to walk around the lake is awesome and the sunset views are perfect!

I'd encourage you to look elsewhere! This place has gone downhill since we moved in. Don't let the photos fool you. This is by no means "luxury living"! Management cares more about giving tours than fixing any of the issues here. They're condescending and have an excuse for everything. The "heated salt water pool" was not heated for most of the winter months. The gates are all busted and key fobs randomly stop working. There are giant ant hills, weeds, and dead grass everywhere, not to mention the dog poop piles. As for the other amenities. Only 1 of the 3 grills work, but not a single one of the firepits work! The pool chairs and cushions are DISGUSTING. The electric car chargers are often blocked by non-electric cars or not working.

Looking for a safe and secure place to live? Not here. The buildings don't lock, and their fire sprinkler system has apparently not worked for months which is dangerous. Visitors come in through the open gates and party here and leave behind messes.

We live on the 2nd floor and can hear every thing our neighbor does. Closing drawers, walking and their TV at all hours of the day.this building was obviously not built well at all. We smell marijuana in the halls frequently. Take all of these reviews seriously. With so many options in Sarasota, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

This is the most terrible experience of life, we have lived in Ridgelake apartments for quite some time, The pool is damaged at least once a week, the grills are all broken and dirty, there are rats running around the pool in the evenings, when you need some service, they never answer the phone, and if they answer, they won’t come, the dishwasher always breaks down, in the end we got tired of waiting, they fixed it ourselves, and the worst thing is these ungrateful people didn’t return our money, our deposit when we moved out from them, they said they wouldn’t return it,

Living at Ridgelake has been a wonderful experience. Our townhome style apartment is updated and everything has worked well since moving in. The staff is incredible and very helpful. Diane was very attentive and gave us great information when looking at the community and throughout the move in process. She went above and beyond recently to help me with a package issue as well. I would highly recommend living here!
