If you like Latin Food then this is the casual restaurant for you! I enjoyed the roasted pork and some of the best yellow rice and black beans I've ever had! Servings are huge and I took away enough for 2 more meals for me
Wonderful Cuban sandwich, fresh and large portions. Pork shoulder was very tender and moist. Local family owned business.
Food was okay, limited choices, place looked like a warehouse filled with boxes and soda cases and so on.
The food is good; it's a little salty for my taste but good overall. I have visited this restaurant on different occasions and for the most part the food is great but the service from the cashier is different. I have noticed that, for the most part, the server is nice, smiles, and makes you feel welcomed. On the other hand, the cashier is not welcoming at all. She's all business, doesn't smile, seems like she's in a rush to ring you out of there, and gives you short answers when you ask a question. This is the reason why I don't go there more often.
I would recommend it for the food but not customer service.

We had the pork shoulder with the rice and black beans and a side of plantains. One plate fed the both of us. It was excellent!
The perfect lunch stop in Deland. Cafeteria style delicious food. I like the pork, rotisserie chicken, and steak and onions.
The worst Ropa Vieja I have ever had. The meat wasn’t shredded and was tough.

Today was terrible they give only fat, I talk with tge lady she said the pices are like that, rice flavor loooks old rice. And the bathroom was terrible. THE WAITRESS LOOKS AT YOU LIKE SHE IS DOINGA FAVOR TO YOU! CRAZY DONT GO THERE
