Rise Pies reviews
20I’m sorry but I have to be brutally honest here. I was in the mood for some pepperoni pizza. That pizza is 14.00 and I didn’t think I could eat that much so I thought the cheesy bread for 5.00 was a good second just add some pepperoni. The clerk says that’s an up charge, no problem I’m thinking until I find out it’s a 5.00 up charge and I only got 7-9 small pieces for 5.00. Then to add injury to insult I ask for a side of marinara sauce and I’m told that’s another charge. I won’t be back. I felt nickled and dimed. Prices are high I get it but for what I ended up paying I could have just bought the pepperoni pie for 14.00
Omg, it's so slow! Took almost 20 minutes from entering the store to getting food. Staff had a bad attitude too. I wanted to walk out but I'd already paid so just waited for the experience to be over. Pizza was OK, just tomato sauce and pizza dough. I've had better from Walmart Won't be rushing back!
We visit Rise Pies at Tanger outlets often. The pizzas are really good and service is always great especially Jowanda. Unfortunately today it was a different experience. Food was still good but the atmosphere was tense. The manager on duty named Angie was very unprofessional. She was belittling the employees in front of customers over something so silly as using the wrong scoop in the cheese. I have a lot of management experience and could not believe the way she treated them I would never treat people that way. She also looked very miserable was rolling her eyes and did not smile the whole time we were there.
Unfortunately the dough seems to have no salt and is spreading its blandness onto the all of other ingredients
Pizza wasn’t cooked all the way and even after i put it in the oven it was still very distasteful
Pizza was super greasy. It was so much that it wasn't even edible after so long. Pizza is usually better when it's left over but this was like sponge soaked with grease. The service was typical millennial no please, than you, have a great day but they were able to answer questions about the menu. Would not recommend or return
Three employees discussed how we did not leave a tip, loud enough, that we make sure to get a table where we could see our food being prepared. The one employee said she will not be cleaning the oven out for us, our food had a lot of burnt flour / corn starch on the crust as a result. We’ve come here for several years, but won’t come back.
We got the salad and the cheese pizza both were really good. I love the crunch of the thin crust pizza.
Half the place was closed, I guess so they dnt have to clean. Then lady didn't offer us anything like she did the couple after us. Then proceeds to let me make a build your own with one Topping & charge me extra. When the 1 Topping pizza is cheaper on the menu. Up charge for reg pizza doe, Upcharge for extra cheese Marinara was runny/watery. She said half of cup, then used her hand & did a pinch. Food was Plan at best. I wouldn't eat here unless you just want to pay 50$ for 2 Small/ medium pizzas & Cheese sticks.
I don't recommend!
Stopped in for lunch while shopping. The staff were apparently all brand new and had no idea what they were doing. There was confusion about who was taking orders, who was making pizza, etc.
The pizza was mediocre at best. At $14 for a 10" pizza it was pretty disappointing that the toppings were only on about 6" of the pizza with almost 2" of blank crust around the outside. The tables were incredibly sticky to the point where you didn't want to touch them.
When spoke to the manager, she indicated that she was "one of the managers on duty" so, for there to be more than one manager on duty, the staff to be disorganized and the restaurant dirty, it doesn't say much about the capabilities of the managers.
The pizza was really tasty and it went quite quickly from ordering to the finished pizza. The ambience was ok, the restaurant was clean.the only thing that was negative was the men's toilet was very dirty.
Severely overpriced for the tiny portion you get. And we got up charged a bunch without them even telling us.
Better than no pizza at all. Decent crust, but the toppings were second rate, and the worker couldn't care less about assembling our pizzas. My 9 year old granddaughter could have done a better job. The "salad" ingredients looked like they were taken out of a dumpster.
NEVER going back. We should have just burned the $50 bill in an ashtray and went hungry.
First time going here and it was really great pizza. We ordered a pepperoni and the chicken caprese. It only took 160 seconds for them to make it, and you get to watch.
Was charged for Thick Crust that I never asked for. On the menu it says Thick Crust is between 2 and 3 dollars extra. I didn't want that. But when taking my order, they asked if I wanted hand tossed or thin crust, which she said is like thin like a cracker. Of course I just want regular hand tossed. This person asked a misleading question leading me to get me to order get something that's an upcharge without telling me about it until I'm at the cash register. Never will I eat there again. The food was so bland anyway.
Just some fancy pizza place with tasteless pizza. I didn't like the atmosphere, their menu is small and there's nothing exciting.
This place is honestly a disappointment. My wife and I came here expecting some good pizza considering there’s so many positive reviews but it’s so bland and overpriced! Nearly 20 dollars for a pizza the size of my hand and 2 drinks. The table we sat at was broken and the floors were a total mess with trash and food all over. It was just an overall disappointing experience. Wouldn’t recommend this place
The pizza was delicious now the world famous meatballs had delicious seasons in them but there was too much breading if you haven't tried them do it at least 1 time I did cut them an put the remaining on my slices, an staff was very friendly
I ordered a large pizza, and received a pizza that was probably the smallest pizza I've ever seen. I specifically put in the notes that your menu failed to show sizes and that i wanted a Large pizza. If you do not do sizes a simple call would have sufficed. In addition the pizza was luke warm at best, and only about 4 small pieces for 22.00$$! Nothing like luke warm, sub-par pizza at 5.50 a slice! I would have been less likely to do a review if the pizza was actually good. If i would have been in the restaurant and not had it delivered i would have requested a refund and gone over to the other pizza joint nearby. Definitely a waste of money and time!
I have never really had a bad experience till today. The cashier called my name all across the restaurant because apparently my transaction didn't go thru. She also proceeded to snap her fingers to me near my table, to I am assuming call my attention.
