Great kayak tour through the estuary. It was very relaxing and the views were great. Our tour guide Evan was very knowledgeable and would dive under the water to find snails, sea stars, sea urchins and bring them up to show us, providing a hands on experience. The kayaks were nice and they provided dry bags and life jackets. Would definitely recommend

Kayak tour of Rookery Bay was passionately guided by an Eco- Enthusiast who offered fascinating information and engaging conversation. She also photographed the tour highlights and shared them with us. I'll be going back again with friends and family. (Ask for Sam)

We took guests for another Kayak tour of Rookery Bay in March 2023. Our guide, Madison, was equally passionate to Sam 3 years ago. We learned about the local wildlife and history. She adjusted her paddling pace consistent with the travelers. We will return for sure

Monica and Johnny were wonderful! The pace was manageable for me, as an inexperienced kayaker in a tandem with a kid. So many exciting things to see! I’m excited to come back next year!

We had a wonderful evening on the Sunset to Full Moon cruise with Captain Morgan (yes, that's her name!) Morgan is USCG certified and is passionate about the estuary of Rookery Bay. She was bubbly and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna seen on the boat trip and really made our time fun!

We left from the Shell Island Rd.dock promptly at 5 pm. (Watch out: Look for the golf driving range on the left.you are getting close to the turn.) Turn right immediately after seeing Port au Prince road on the left. This turn onto Shell Island Rd is easy to miss so be ready!

This is our 2nd trip with Rising Tide Explorers and it won't be our last!

Hint: be there 30 minutes before your appointed time (as recommended) so you don't hold up the departure. Be sure to fill out your safety forms online so you can get out on the water immediately after the orientation.

We had a great time! We did the shelling tour which was perfect for our two young kids. They especially enjoyed riding in the boat where we saw eagles and dolphins.

The single best thing we did on our Florida trip. Gorgeous bay and mangrove islands with knowledgeable and interesting guides. Really well done.

Ryan was by far the most knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide we have ever experienced. Another tour company cancelled on us same day - presumably they didn’t have enough people to make it worth their while. When we arrived at the kayak boat launch for Rising Tide Explorers, my wife and I were the only two there for a 2.5 hour tour. Ryan was geared up and excited to take us and share his boundless knowledge of the area and the ecosystem. He is a biologist, world traveler and kayaking expert. This tour and our time on the water was one of the highlights of our entire week. Go with Rising Tide! Been in the business a long time, they are the real deal. And if you can, go with Ryan.

This is the best SW FL nature tour/experience ever. Our guides, Winston & Renee, were highly educated, professional, informative, and fun. They gave us an unforgettable evening.

One of the best experiences, my husband and I have had in our lives. We thank you for your input on the environment. The nature, the animals it was just an amazing day. And by the way, a two person kayak should not be going through. The mangoes.

Our captain Monica provided a relaxing and informative experience for us. We saw many species of birds and several dolphin sightings. The boat was very comfortable and the small group of six allowed for a more interactive tour.

We took a kayak tour of Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park with Winston and Heidi. The mangroves were amazing; the biodiversity and things we would never see in upstate NY made the trip very special! In addition, our guides, Heidi and Winston were the perfect combination of knowledge and professionalism. They related so well to the entire group, and were incredibly likeable! I was particularly impressed with their interaction with a young (pre-teen) member of the group. They encouraged her curiosity about the environment which i believe will stay with her a long time! We would all highly recommend this trip to others. It was a great experience!

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The kayaking loop off of Shell Island Road was good for beginners. Only wish we saw some more wildlife!

Captain Winston was very knowledgeable. He had a great personality and is very eager to share his love of the Rookery estuary with others.

Had an great time with Winston and his partner. They were both very knowledgeable and we took an exciting route where we saw lots of wildlife. They were accommodating in letting us change our reservation because the original day was cold and rainy. I would highly recommend booking the 12: 30 or 3pm when the sun is up and warm out. 10/10

We had a great time on the sunset tour, looking for birds. Rachael & Monica were both very knowledgeable about the area & birds.
