River City K9, Green Cove Springs FL

I took our 8 month old chocolate lab to the 2 week training program and will admit I was very skeptical. Our lab was WILD, no manners and VERY DEFIANT AND STUBBORN. Our home became very stressful as we were always chasing, screaming or yelling at the dog. My husband begged for me to take Red to River City K9; however, I didn’t want him to go away with strangers for 2 weeks. Very reluctantly, I finally decided to take Red and after pulling off of the property I knew I had made a good decision and felt very comfortable leaving Red. The staff who greeted me were super friendly but most importantly very attentive to Red. I could tell they have a genuine love for animals and what they do. Red began his training and I received report cards, photos and even videos of his progress. His trainer Samantha was a joy and communicated with me very often about how Red was doing. The service on top of the training was top notch, Red had a vet visit during his training that she took him to which was very helpful for our very busy family. We met at the training facility twice with Samantha where she taught us the commands he had learned and how to bring him home and continue the training. We are getting a puppy in November (I know we are crazy) and we will absolutely bring her to River City K9 for training! I am so excited to have Red back home with us. He is well behaved and learned so much in his 2 weeks! We take him to work with us daily and his first day back everyone couldn’t believe he was the same wild pup. Our neighbors have all commented on how obedient he is but most importantly our children are loving him and actually enjoying him rather than being scared he will knock them over, take and chew on their toys or play bite a little too hard. His training was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Thank you River City K9 and Samantha, you are amazing and our family is forever grateful for your help training our crazy pup!

We have been there twice. Both times there was a problem. Help not showing up, mistakes on appointment times because of help not showing up. And they don't know how to groom a schnauzer.

River City K9 is a great place to take your blind senior needs dog. They treated Noah as if he was a family member. Beautiful facilities inside and out. Family owned and operated special people they have working with them.

Highly recommend! Dropped my dog off for a week I was on vacation with the friendliest staff and cleanest facility I have yet to see. Will be back soon! 10 stars!

River City K9 is such a clean, friendly place. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a friend face. They listened and understood the needs of my German Shepard. I loved how familiar they were with the breed and could see how much love they had for dogs. I felt confident leaving Jackson and we will definitely be returning. He had a blast and loved seeing the pictures and videos while we were away.

We wanted to bring our Standard Poodle puppy to daycare so she could be socialized with other dogs and not be afraid of new situations. She was nervous the first day that we dropped her off, but since then runs in looking for a ball and doesn’t look back. The facility is clean and the staff clearly loves animals. We definitely recommend River City K9!

Beautiful, Clean facility. First class customer service. LOVE! There is a residence on sight and the everything is kept so clean with so much room for the dogs to play! It really is one of the most beautiful facilities I’ve been to and the staff is just great! Highly Recommend!

We are VERY picky about where we drop our dogs off for stays. We knew within 5 seconds of walking into their facility this was where we will always go. This facility is so clean, organized, and well ran. The staff is so friendly and welcoming — They live on the property and treat our dogs like their own. SO SO SO SO SO SO highly recommend them!
