Riverfront Cruises reviews
11Too bad we couldn't take a ride on the boat. They cancel in the very last minute so it was a 1 hour and a half waste of time since you have to be there 45 before depart
It was a very nice trip me & MY Sister really enjoyed can't wait to do it again soon I our captain & sailor was so very nice
Great tour of the Miami Beach island, Star Island and a view of Millionaire Row. You will see the mansions owned by famous celebrities and rich people from around the world.
I bought my ticket from Groupon and got a really great deal. Like really good! Highly suggest you buy them on Groupon if it’s available. We took the 5pm cruise which is the last cruise of the day and you are able to catch the sunset.
The employees of the cruise are really friendly and also the main host speaks in English and Spanish. So it’s great for those who understand Spanish.
There is also drinks and snacks served on the cruise for additional costs. It’s pretty dope and price is average for what you’ll pay at a local bar.
Cruise lasts about 90 minutes and absolutely worth every penny. The scene and view is absolutely breathtaking.
Yes- masks are required to be on unless you are eating and drinking.
Super fun. And great info and sights. The tour guide was really good and made it fun. We ordered a meat and cheese platter on there that all our family shared. It was actually really good. We did the happy hour tour- 90 mins and BOGO drinks. Any kind.
Really enjoyed our private tour with Captain Lee. Scenery was amazing & he was very knowledgeable about the area.
As a yacht Captain and retired Royal European Butler, I can attest to professionalism when I experience it. From the time I booked my tour on the phone to arrival & departure I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
Casual, & memorable along with informatively relaxing was the order of the day with the Captain & crew. The tour was visually wonderful and the sights & homes of the rich & famous whimsically described as we cruised with the good Captain Donavan at the helm.
There were snacks & refreshments, I enjoyed a mixer and sat topside to enjoy the seabreeze for the 1st half & went down below to enjoy the air conditioned comfort of the main interior deck on the 2nd half of the cruise back
. I was able to enjoy sometime with my fellow Captain, David Donavan. All in all I highly recommend this relaxed & enjoyable boat cruise to see the beauty of Fort Lauderdale, by water. What a pleasurable treasure I got to enjoy. ALL THE BEST TO THE CAPTAIN & CREW, YOU MADE MY DAY
, THANKS SO MUCH!
Riverfront cruises has a series of cruises for a few hours on the waterfront of Fort Lauderdale. They are very informal.we sat outside by the front deck on our cruise and had a great time. They have a snack bar and serve wine and beer.
This is a great way of exploring the harborfront of Fort Lauderdale. My only complaint is that the ramp to go on the boat makes it difficult for persons with limited mobility to go on the boat but the crew are very helpful in getting people on the boat who have trouble walking. Give yourself some extra time before the boat leaves because its a bit difficult to find the place where the boat leave from due to construction in that area.
Beautiful cruise! Captain and mate's were very helpful and nice. Narration was very informative. Would recommend this cruise for tourists and locals alike!
Beautiful views! Very nice clean boat. Lots of time on water, did a 1.5 hr tour for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend to others.
Just a few details to be aware of: the guided description is recorded. It’s very informational but not an in person description. Also there was an individual on board encouraging people to sign up for a sweepstakes for a cruise line. I would avoid sharing your info because it’s not exactly what it appears to be.
In regards to directions, I called ahead and the location was well explained and easy to find.
Here are the directions of coming from the east (we came from the Fort Lauderdale beach) :
-Take Las Olas west
-Right on Andrews
-Take the Fist LEFT on 2nd street /himmershee st.
- LEFT on 3rd st. (Has another name, 3rd in small print. After the railroad tracks)
- At the end of this small road you will see their kiosk- It’s got a neon green flag with the ticket booth
My friends and I came together for a short visit in Florida to attend Art Basel. We took a quick detour to Ft Lauderdale and looking for something to do, found the Riverfront Cruise Tour. It was relaxing & we enjoyed seeing the homes & yachts in Ft. Lauderdale. Personally, I found the guy trying to sell cruises and promotionals out of place and intrusive. The tour would have been much nicer without him speaking over the tour guide.
We had a great time cruising on the river with these folks. It was the Christmas lights Cruise. They do have a snack bar slash regular bar open during the cruise. It was about 90 minutes in total. Would definitely do it again. The only slight downside is that parking is not necessarily great for handicapped people. Kind of a long walk over to the boat. However everything else was fantastic and I would do it again
