11My favorite place to put in! Usually not a lot of traffic. Quick getting in and getting out.
Boat ramp is being worked on. Too many boaters that have no idea how to use a boat ramp. Super long line to get your boat in and out of the water.
Nice place to rest and enjoy the panoramic view.
Alafia river plenty of wild life, good places for fish. (don't forget your fish's gear) and if you owned a boat just be there. Have a nicely boat's ramp and pier.

I couldn't give more than 3 stars because the pavilion was dirty, it needs more maintenance, also the benches on the deck area was dirty too, no place to seat, other than that the playground is safe for kids and deck on the river offers great views.
I use the kayak and boat launch often and each time I've used it it's been great. I normally use it on the weekend and there is plenty of parking.water is 1ft - 2ft deep at low tide so if you have a big boat this may not be a good place to launch. It's a safe place and they do have other amenities such as a playground for the kids and a fishing dock where you can catch catfish, snook, etc.please note it does cost 5.00 to park your trailer here.
Haven't used the civic center since covid but I use the boat ramp regularly and the 5 bucks is worth the accessibility
I love the fact that it's close to my house but some boat ramp edict would help everyone launch and pull out people tent to tie up the docks loading their boats or waiting for people to join them on the water.move your boats to the dock on the river and free up the launch area!
New looking boat ramp and adjacent (on north far side of park behind cat tails) pier to fish or load and unload from your boat jet ski and such. Nice kid area. Shaded. Observing COVID Social distancing so bathrooms and play area closed. Boat ramp not crowded but we are here mid week. Clean peaceful and shaded. Over all lovely boat ramp and park.
2 drops and bathrooms. Low tide difficult if bigger boat. I wouldnt drop any more 26ft. Beer shed, rivers edge for food and drink is not far
Great place to fish, wish it had a little more shade for the dock though. But otherwise great place.
