Riviere South Beach Hotel, Miami Beach FL

I would have given this hotel 3 or 4 stars after our stay, but after not receiving our deposit back for almost a month, I can’t help but give it only 2.
Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic and the complementary beach towels and chairs are also a bonus. The rooms are fine, we didn’t see any bugs like some reviews mention. Don’t expect a luxurious five-star room, but it sufficed for me and my boyfriend for a long weekend.

We spent three nights from March 22-25,2023 on the upper floor in the 300 wing. The bed was enormous and there was a spacious closet and fridge area. A small coffee maker was provided yet no complimentary coffee, only tea. Plenty of sugar, sugar substitutes and powdered creamer were also provided. I always travel with my own instant coffee as I am a coffee addict and used the coffee maker to heat the water to drip into the pot which I had filled with my own coffee. Soap and shampoo and lotion were provided both by the sink and in the shower stall. We liked the bathroom drawers for our toiletries. The lack of sink counter space meant all of our toiletries were out of sight yet still accessible. I always travel with two sizes of sink plugs yet unfortunately the bathroom sink-which didn't have one-was too large for either of them. I had never encountered that before. Extra bath towels were provided and also beach towels. The hotel provided free beach lounge chairs from the Boucher Brothers kiosk at 14 Street. It was a pleasure to have beach access so close. The breakfast was far greater than the hotel staff made it out to be. We loved the scrambled eggs, cereal, danish, toast, yogurt and juice. Although this was one week after the (violent) spring break, the hotel atmosphere was very quiet. There was only the occasional person yelling in the alley behind the hotel to disturb us, but that always ended after a few seconds. No keys or key cards meant that hotel access was by punch code only, so you had a few number combinations to memorize. We will definitely be staying here again. Front desk staff were very helpful and smiling; we dealt with three different women and they all were lovely to us and to the guests.

Die Lage in South Beach ist wirklich super. ZImmer 106 mit zwei Queens ist geräumig. Bad ist ausreichend groß. Frühstück ist übersichtlich, aber nett das sich man nichts suchen muss. Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Trotz täglichem Zimmerservice war das Zimmer nie sauber. Krümel, fremde Haare, Seifenflecken. Bett war unordentlich gemacht. Nach Auskunft der Rezeption gibt es wohl Personalprobleme. Es gibt nichts zum Handtücher aufhängen. Nicht mal fürs Handtuch, geschweige denn für die Duschhandtücher. Der Safe war nicht befestigt, die Schrauben lagen im Safe, und drohte vom Regal zu fallen.

Excellent boutique hotel! 100% recommended, the staff is amazing, and breakfast is good, with eggs, croissants, juice, te everything you need in the morning and of location is the best.

Location is perfect but for the price the breakfast should have more options than coffee, eggs, croissants and some other bread. Front staff was nice. Bed comforters were dirty.

Everything you need to stay in Miami for short time. Room was clean and spacious. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and nightclubs. I walked to the beach and was amazing. Went to the club and didn’t have to drive. The hotel doesn’t have parking but there is a public parking that they recommend to park, 2 blocks from the hotel 2$/per hour and more than 10 hrs I believe was 20$. It’s worthy to pay. Nice setup on the hotel. Fridge, microwave, closet well you can see in the pictures. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful clean rooms. Super cool bar on the patio. Really good drinks and a very yummy breakfast!
