Robert Norton, MD - Spine Surgeon reviews
5No comment! Rude people and do not call back. Didn’t even get an appointment! Some doctors need to rethink who they have represent them
My wife had an 11: 30 appointment with Dr. Norton. After filling out all the forms and meeting with a very informative physician's assistant, we sat waiting for over 45 minutes, as we were walking out the door the PA asked us to please wait the Doctor would see us next. After waiting another 20 minutes, we walked out at 2: 00 pm.
When you call a doctors office you expect them to have a pleasant attitude. Well only one girl had the worst attitude I believe she is his PA Nicole.then your appointment disappears but you get an email with a portal to log into. Funny how i was emailed but suddenly I didn’t have an appointment? And it happened after speaking to the girl with the attitude. And then you ask to speak to her and she doesn’t call you back twice. Then you ask for an office manager and she doesn’t call. I met Dr. Norton, nice guy, Why any doctor would allow this is beyond me. Such unprofessionalism from a doctors office!
MY wife had a spine operation with Dr Robert Norton. He found excess bone on the spinal cord and removed it. Today she saw Charlotte Vinton NP who told her all was fine now. Both the doctor and Charlotte couldn't have been more professional and comforting in all aspects of treat
I had an unfortunate experience with an EMT he gave me compression fractures on vertebrae T3, T4, T5, T6 and T7. I saw Dr Norton in the hospital originally and he said I was an excellent candidate for Kyphoplasty. It took about 28 days from the first surgery to the last which was today. Being an expert after my third surgery I know I'll have a couple days of soreness and it will fade away. Dr Norton was professional and extremely timely when it comes to an appointment. Finally a doctor that understands your time is valuable as well. The only thing that could be better is service around prescriptions, I will also take equal blame since I only gave 48 hours notice. Overall it's a great office, I can walk up right again without a brace or a walker! Thanks to everyone at Florida Spine Associates and especially Dr Norton and his crew.
After reading the negative reviews they all have one thing in common, waiting. Clearly that issue has been fixed. My consultation was maybe a 10 minute wait. For all 3 surgeries I was brought in the back for surgery within 5 minutes of arriving, For us nervous types the fast movement of check in, get blood pressure, prepped for surgery, fixed and home you go, an absolute God send.
