New owners, new chef, new menu… 1yr anniversary this Dec 2023! Food was absolutely fabulous… risotto was so perfect, amazing braised short ribs and a homemade soup that I hope to copy! Teresa made our dinner extra special. We cannot wait to go back and see this as our new “go to” for lunch & dinner! And they’re open on Monday

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance exuded a warm, classic Italian vibe that promised a memorable dining experience. Our waitress for the evening, Teresa, was attentive and delightful, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our meal.

The meal started with homemade garlic bread, straight from the oven. Crispy on the outside, soft within, it had a wonderful aroma that whet our appetites. Complementing the bread was a refreshing and tangy Italian bean salad that teased our taste buds with its perfect balance of flavors.

After the starters, an avocado salad graced our table. The freshness of the avocados paired with ripe tomatoes made for a dish that was as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. Following this refreshing salad, we were treated to a creamy carrot tomato soup. It had a velvety texture and a rich taste, combining the sweetness of carrots with the tanginess of tomatoes. It was a delightful bridge between our light starters and the heartier main courses.

The main courses were the showstoppers. The lasagna was masterfully crafted with a perfect harmony of cheese, sauce, pasta, and meat. Each bite was a testament to the culinary prowess of Rocco Trattoria. Not to be overshadowed was the special of the day: a braised short rib in red wine. Tender and flavorful, it paired beautifully with the Rossetti.

For dessert, we were indulged with exquisite profiteroles, airy and filled with a luscious cream. Alongside, we savored the traditional cannoli, crisp on the outside with a rich and creamy filling, a delightful end to an unforgettable meal.

In summary, our dining experience at Rocco Trattoria Italian Restaurant was "over the top amazing. " From the service to the food, everything was impeccable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic Italian culinary journey.

Excellent food & service. Teresa suggested the shortrib in bordeoux sauce. Excellent suggestion, Teresa is very well versed with menu making it easy to identify ur liking.
Desert r excellent I had to indulge again another of Teresas suggestion the proditerol. Airy chocolate covered cake balls. I felt at home here its been a while.

My first visit to Rocca - was very impressed with the atmosphere, food and service! The Mozzarella Board/Plate was amazing - I had no idea that I would actually watch someone make mozzarella cheese at my table and it tasted amazing along with those beautiful heirloom tomatoes. The pasta with the ragu sauce was over the top as well! I can't say enough - you must visit and try the magnificent food and the wine selections! Well done!

I am absolutely impressed with the service, food, and staff here! My husband and friends are Italian, I have been to most Italian restaurants south of Delray and this is one of the Best if not the Best one I’ve been too! The Gnocchi and lasagna are both homemade. The portions are generous. Everything is fresh. I had the gnocchi and added shrimp (huge) and lasagna to go. Soups are gourmet. The owner is the chef, so no wonder it was so great! My waitress Theresa was excellent! Her service was on point! What a great team they have here. Best kept secret.

Delicious avocado salad and eggplant! Service is good and options to eat out or in are a nice addition.

The staff was very nice and the resteraunt was well maintained with good decor. All of the dishes were cooked well they just lacked flavor. They used enough salt but not enough fresh herbs and pepper. Everything was bland.

Enjoyed avacado, tomatoe and mozzarella appetizer with homemade garlic bread slices… highly recommend. Cream of spinach soup was perfection (serving size was thoughtful).
Ordered the scallop special, sooo good. Observed no salt or pepper on the table (nod to the cook). We will be back.

Personally, in my 30 yrs of Italian dining experiences in South Florida, this is a gem.
5 star food at reasonable prices. It’s relatively new on the scene, but we have already dined here three times and have recommended this fabulous new find to several friends, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed everything from start to finish.
Moises, owner and executive chef created an excellent bean and vegetable starter as opposed to the typical caponata along with his home made garlic bread. Also, his included soups are to die for…really exceptional! All entrees from his fish, veal and chicken options… all excellent!
We sincerely wish Moises all the best in his new venture where he can display his exceptional talent as a chef the same way a fine artist uses his paints on a canvas.

A hidden gem in lighthouse point. I’ve always wanted to try this place and finally did. It did not disappoint! We have some allergies in our group and our server, Theresa, made sure everything we ordered was safe for our group. Thin slices of garlic bread with a balsamic bean topping and a small serving of soup is brought out before the meal. Both were excellent. Our group ordered chicken Alfredo, chicken Marsala, and chicken Francese. All delicious! But the absolute star of the night was the spaghetti bolognese! Incredible! So good my husband ordered a children’s portion to enjoy after his main course. Don’t pass this place up. It’s very delicious food and at a reasonable price.

I searched for a good Italian restaurant near me and this came up. I liked the fact that it looked small and cozy on the pictures. The food was amazing and service superb. Araceli made my experience great. I’ll definitely be back to try more items of the menu.

Restaurant is better than ever! Food was spectacular! My husband ordered the filet mignon which was Amazing! I ordered pasta with meat sauce which was also scrumptious! Kids had pizza which they rated a 10/10 and let me not forgot to mention the appetizers which did not disappoint! Theresa our waiter provided us with EXCELLENT customer service and her vibrant and enthusiastic personality made our dining experience marvelous! Definitely highly recommended! 5 ️ s!

Expect to be wowed, the service and food were top notch. Would definitely recommend without reservation.

Just came back from Rocca and enjoyed our dinner immensely. Our waitress Teresa was very knowledgeable and service was great. Our food, from the garlic bread to the soup to the entree was excellent. We will return!
