Roderick's Family Martial Arts, Orange Park FL

This has been such a positive experience for both my grandchildren. The instructors are awesome. They are so good with all the ages and really show how much they care for them. I was impressed with the variety of things they teach. Besides karate they include self defense moves and discipline attitudes for here and also at home and school. It’s such a well rounded experience. I highly recommend this school.

Roderick’s is awesome and the staff of instructors are amazing. My son has been coming for about two years now and has shown great improvement in discipline, manners, and respect. He loves the sparring side of karate and the bow staff, combat sparring!

I just started going about 2 weeks ago but I do enjoy the classes and the schools and I’m excited to do the tournaments and other things coming up

Ask for Alfred - he has been involved in this since he was about 8 years old. He can tell you how it has impacted his life. Your kids will be learning from someone who has experienced everything from just beginning to competing as an adult. This is a program that nurtures self confidence and discipline - two of the best qualities a kid can have.

Absolutely wonderful place to grow. They are so great with children and the family atmosphere is the best. We love all of the senior and junior instructors from all the school locations.

My daughter has been attending classes for four months. The instructors, Deidre, Hollie, and Kay are fantastic! Their professionalism is exceptional. My daughter is always happy to go to her classes.

My son loves it here. Mr. Ordaz and the rest of the instructors are amazing with kids, helping them learn discipline and defense.

My 13 year old son loves going to class here. He will even get up early on Saturdays in order to attend class. The class instruction is brisk so that there is never a down time. The instructors are very energetic and positive. The kids stay engaged at all times.
Aside from the normal class schedule, there are regular opportunities for the students to attend seminars on sparring and other focused disciplines.

Most professional, positive, and family friendly martial arts school I've ever seen. Mr. Ordaz and his junior instructors truly exhibit a love for what they do. They provide quality martial arts instruction for all age and skill levels while being exceptionally adept with children.

Joining the Roderick’s Family has been the best decision we’ve ever made for our family! We homeschool our children and were looking for more activities and ways for them to socialize. Roderick’s martial arts is a great experience for not only your kids but also for parents. They teach the kids to be respectful, confident, and most importantly to listen. The staff does an incredible job of building the kids up no matter the size or skill level. Truly a great karate studio.

We love this school. The instructors are fantastic and patient with all ages. The way they go through each form step by step and help each student struggling or help more advanced students hone their skills is why I continue to come to this school. The energy they bring makes each class fun. The students both child and adult are such a fun crowd. They also have an awesome bulletin board. I Highly highly recommend this school.

Instructions are clear for all ages. My 6 yr old grandson is really encouraged and excited to be learning new techniques.
