During check-in the front desk gentleman was really nice but we were rushed out during checkout. House keeper started knocking on our door at 9 am.

Not happy with how much flexibility the staff shows to their customers.

- rooms were clean and nice though.

Very clean, very quiet rooms even close to Hwy 27. Accessibility is excellent, very short drive to restaurants. RaceTrac gas station & Convenience Store is 300 yards away & open 24/7.

Well kept lawns and grounds, attractive exterior and the rooms are clean. The manager works with you to get the best situation for you, and the location is quiet and peaceful. Were I to be in that area again and needed a motel, this is the one I would go to. Good work. Keep honest and succeed.

Rented a two room suite for one night, not cheap either. No hot water while there, two tvs and two people with only one remote was inconvenient, hair dryer had a broken plug that only works if fiddled with and most certainly a fire hazard, parking very limited if pulling a trailer, area did not seem safe. Room seemed pretty clean except really dinghy towels and washcloth. Will not be staying there again.

Room looks to have been renovated recently. Very spacious with a walk in shower. Very clean. Bed a bit stiff but not too hard.

I’ve stayed there about 2 times before, but this by far was the worse. The check in attendant was very friendly and had great interaction. Customer service is horrible, housekeeping is so rude and talk to you like you’re bothering/ wasting there time. Don’t bother asking for more towels they will question you about why, I had one of the housekeepers tell me they don’t give out extras you only get the two provided at check in. I also had no towels in the room for this stay just 2 washcloths. Check out is at 11am and they have a no late check out policy inconvenient but fine. However during this stay I had a housekeeper banging on the door at 1030 telling me it’s checking out time! After I asked her if checkout was not at 11 she said “yea ok” while sizing me up with a scowl and a whole lot of attitude and continued to stand by the door like a guard dog until i left. I tried calling the front desk about it but never got a response.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The facilty owner or senior manager is not customer friendly at all. He alone would make me NEVER stay at this facility.

The Roadway Inn in Haines City was very clean. The room I stayed in was nice, well layed-out, and had a large TV, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The room looked like it had recently been remodeled. The bathroom had a nice, large walk-in shower, which was esthetically pleasing. However, the room also had some issues.

The beds and the pillows were very firm. I prefer a soft mattress. Next, the hot water was not constant. The water would be hot for a couple of minutes, and, then, it would be cold for a couple of minutes. Then, the last ten minutes of my shower was with cold water, only. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work.

When I booked this room, I booked it with the understanding that breakfast was included. However, upon checking-in, I was told that there was no breakfast. The lady who was working at the front desk said that they only had coffee in the morning. That was disappointing to say the least.

Clean, comfortable and reasonable. Great location. Close to many attractions and businesses. My base of operations when in Haines City.

I stayed there in May for 3 days. And I got ate up with bedbugs. It was really bad. When I complained they got mad. This is crazy. I would never stay there again. We stay at Holiday Inn on 27 and it is so much nicer.

Small quiet hotel. I stayed only one night. It was clean. Microwave and fridge a plus. I would stay there again.

The room is small. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were barely 2” thick. There were no blankets! Just a sheet to sleep with. They falsely advertised a free breakfast. There is no breakfast. I booked two nights, but after the first night I went to check out and get my money back. They refused me a refund for the second night because I checked out at 11: 55am instead of before 11am. Even though I didn’t check in until 1am that morning because of delayed flights! Do not stay here!

The entrance is a little tricky fortunately the motel can't get a larger sign as you passed the gas station it's the second turn and the traffic is coming up behind you quick at the light just signal and drive slow you can hit it it's much easier the second time

Just a horrible place in a dreadful location. The 1 staff I encountered was completely inadequate and unhappy to work there. No breakfast despite the fact my reservation stated it was included. Everything looked “unclean” at best. The check-in process was ridiculously slow and the price completely absurd

After my family's experience with our stay at the Rodeway Inn & Suites Haines City I honestly have no idea how they managed to receive such high ratings from prior guests. Upon arrival about 11: 45 in the evening there were two police cars blocking the portico driveway in front of the office with officers inside questioning someone in the lobby. Though concerning, the front desk clerk advised everything was okay and I proceeded to check in due to the late hour and everyone needing to get some sleep. I had booked a suite with a king bed and sofa bed to accommodate my wife and I along with our two young daughters. I have stayed in many older and lower rated properties and anticipate their quirks and certain things being off however the entire suite was in bad shape despite being at least partially renovated a couple years ago. The sofa bed was musty, likely a lingering smell of smoke from being in a smoking room in the past, so we decided to have our five-year-old daughter sleep in the bed with us. Our younger daughter is still in a crib, and we brought our own, so fortunately at least she had a clean place to sleep without trying to fit four people in a king bed.

Though it appeared that the bed linens had likely been laundered, the thin top covering on our bed seemed to have been used in a smoking room due to what I believe were cigarette burns or something else that that had created holes in it. The white sheets seemed to be in decent shape though in the morning we noted a red spot on them toward the foot of the bed. Around the room we found drippings of what appeared to be a past guest's gold glitter nail polish on the bedroom wall, bedroom floor, desk, bathroom floor, and toilet seat lid. Speaking of the floor, it definitely had not seen a good cleaning prior to our stay. There was dirt and debris in the corners and even more substantial buildup behind the sofa and other furnishings. I was especially surprised to find dirty spots on the bathroom door just below the doorknob since that is a high touch area that really should be cleaned thoroughly after every guest stay.

There was also a missing front cover on the HVAC unit in the room with the sofa bed with a warning label that it was not to be operated without the cover. To avoid potential injuries to my children from moving parts or electrified components I left it turned off and only utilized the heater in the bedroom. Though there were a couple small spiders we at least didn't note bed bugs so we decided to go ahead and stay in spite of the deficiencies we noted in the evening, only realizing the full extent of how bad the room was in the morning. It wasn't especially pleasant sleep either due to the bed being on a creaky metal base and the walls being so thin we could hear an occupant of the adjacent room snoring.

After getting ready for the day, we went to the lobby for breakfast and were advised it was no longer served since the beginning of COVID-19. That was especially disappointing since we had not considered several similarly priced and lower priced properties that would have had much nicer rooms due to wanting a breakfast included property for simplicity.

I brought all of this to the attention of the manager on duty who indicated the best he could do was a 30% discount on the approximately $200 room. When I indicated I was anticipating something more than that given there were not only substantial maintenance issues but life safety issues the manager advised I would have to discuss it with corporate because he was not empowered to offer more than a 30% discount and then upon reaching out to corporate I was advised that the hotel has full control over billing so I was apparently lied to by a manager. I have stayed in $50 motels with higher standards and spent the night in tented camps that were cleaner. This Rodeway Inn & Suites was easily among the worst lodging I've stayed in and had we arrived and seen the room's state of disrepair earlier in the evening we would have avoided this disappointing stay altogether.

Clean room. Nice bathroom. No breakfast. Very small towels. About what I expected from hotel but a little steep at $110 per night.
