Romie's picked up a king comforter and several pillow shams that needed dry cleaning from my house and dropped them back off in two days - so helpful for my hectic schedule. All of the items were returned in beautiful condition. I will be using them again!

Let me tell you about my experience at Romie's.

My story begins with an invitation to a special wedding that was much more formal than I had anticipated, prior to my promise of attendance.
"The dress code for this wedding is somewhere in between formal and cocktail. This means for menswear, go with any kind of suit. "
But wait. I've never owned a suit!
Cue panic.

I tend to be a bit obsessive when it comes to important details, and I was NOT one of the lucky few who was able to pick a suit off the rack and have it fit well. That meant that I now had to find someone local, reliable and reasonable to alter this thing.
Panic intensifies.

My search eventually lead me to Romie's, an establishment where I would soon have the good fortune of meeting a lifelong seamstress, and would also be able to have the suit pressed and cleaned after the alterations were done. Let me tell you.these poor ladies will forever suffer from PTSD when they see someone walking through that front door that resembles me, as they can now fully attest to my obsessive nature.

After several phone calls and multiple visits where my annoyingly obsessive (albeit polite) personality was on full display, you would think that these ladies would have been shoving me out the door, suit in hand, demanding that I go elsewhere. This was not the case, and in fact, I can't imagine dealing with a warmer and more endearing group of ladies. I really mean that.

I had done a lot of research and gone through a lot of trial and error to get to this point, and it was of immense importance to me that I look my absolute best for this event. Honestly, you'd think that -I- was the one getting married. Nevertheless, these ladies dealt with me, with smiles on their faces, and went out of their way to ensure that I met my goal and my deadline.

While I'm quite certain that there are other quality locations for alterations and dry cleaning in this area, I can tell you with absolute certainty that I've found the one for me, and I will be back again when I need future work done. That's a promise (not a threat, lol).
