Roo Roo's Diner, Largo FL

Roo Roo's Diner provides a cozy atmosphere and attentive service, but I deducted one star for excessively greasy food. While the menu is diverse and the flavors are good, the excessive oiliness detracts from the overall dining experience. Despite this, the friendly staff and inviting ambiance make it worth a visit.

Visiting from out of town and stopped in here with my dad. We all agreed this was some of the best diner food we’ve had in a long time and the service was spectacular. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!

Roo Roos' is a pleasant surprise. Great food, served in a clean and comfortable environment. The waitress was exceptionally sweet and kind to us. She kept our coffee cups filled and brought our food out hot, fresh, and accurately.

Hands down one of the best breakfast diner's in Largo, 50's themed and made to order. Visit every time I visit.

Every time I come in here there’s amazing service and friendly people. The main server Kenny always takes care of everyone and the prices are a really good value for what you get. They’re probably the most consistent diner around, always crispy hash browns and eggs just right. Very good local diner!

We are thrilled to find his hidden gem tucked away in a local plaza. Roo Roo’s diner is fresh, consistent and serves up a tasty breakfast & lunch! Great staff and very clean.

Lucky find, breakfast was cooked to perfection. Staff was great. Old school dinner best of breed! I highly recommend checking it out.

The food is always delicious! The veggie burger was the best I’ve ever had. The service is great. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Had a large family party here and the owner was extremely accommodating. Staff was great and good was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Pretty Good

We went here for Sunday breakfast. The place has pretty typical diner atmosphere. Our server was delightful.

The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was a little higher-priced than other places. We dropped the cheese and had sliced tomatoes for a side which was a $1 upcharge (not noted on the menu). The tomatoes were white and bland. We also had the ham steak & eggs. The ham was very good—better than most other diners. As is often the case, the accompanying toast was practically dripping with butter and left fingers very greasy.

I’m officially giving up on grits at mid-Pinellas breakfast places. The grits here were the texture of cream of wheat and devoid of flavor.

Roo Roo’s is fine. If I return, it would be for the ham and the friendly server.

The restaurant was clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was, hot, and fresh and came out timely. Nice atmosphere.

Ate there Sunday morning took forever the grits were God awful and the omelet was a close 2nd.the server was a very pleasant young lady

Don’t let the small size fool you, the food is outstanding. They make the best corned beef hash in town.

Food tatsed good but my entire blt had 3 bacon strips, skimpiest one I’ve gotten from any restaurant

This place is absolutely amazing!
Great energy, food and service. I ordered western omelette. The ingredients were fresh and well put together. I don’t eat bread. The waitress asked me if I wanted to substitute bread for fresh fruit, no extra charge.
If you’re looking for home cooking made with love, this is the place!

The BEST breakfast in town. If you’re looking for a classic neighborhood diner with delicious comfort food, Roo Roo’s is the place to go. Very friendly staff and unbeatable prices!
