Dr Monteiro is an amazing surgeon AND a kind, caring individual. What a wonderful experience having her as your doctor. All her office staff are wonderful as well. Highest possible recommendation!

Dr Monteiro is the best hands down, my initial surgery date after being completely worked up to go back she made the decision not to operate on me because I was under the weather, when my surgery date came she was efficient calming and made me completely comfortable of everything to expect. She personally called to check on me the next day and even a year after when my Endo had some concerns she saw me right away and even though the problem wasn’t something she could address she referred me to the right specialist. Highly recommended! Also my scar is almost non existent!

Dr Montero is wonderful! She is an amazing doctor. Wonderfully skilled in her work. All the hospital staff speak highly of her.
She performed my surgery without any complications. She was at the hospital early in the morning doing surgeries, and before going home at 9pm stopped in to check on me. I was flabbergasted by that. Pulled such a long, and I'm sure tiring shift, and still stopped in to check on her patient. That's what you call dedication!

I had minor surgery today at this Office. The staff was warm and the surgeon excellent. The procedure went well. I am a retired orthopedic surgeon with thirty three years of experience. My wife and I both went to Dr Monteiro for surgeries in the last 6 months. We were very impressed with the quality and precision of the surgeries. My recovery was super fast, and almost had no pain after the surgery. Dr Monteiro also made sure she answered all our questions, and what to expect following the surgery. I have experience with many doctors and surgeons in multiple countries through my elderly parents, and I am confidently able to say that Dr Monteiro is among the best surgeons in the world! Her office staff and nurses are also very supportive, friendly, and professional. Should any future surgical need arise for my family, we will definitely see Dr Monteiro.

I was very happy with the services, especially with their flexibility dealing with my insurance. The staff is also taking care of setting everything up on my behalf regarding my upcoming procedure. I went to Dr. Montero from a recommendation by my gastroenterologist. I am sure glad I did. Her staff is amazing! They were so welcoming and friendly and more importantly, very very efficient. Dr Monteiro took the time to listen to my concerns as if I was her only patient of the day. Then she also reviewed all my records and recommended a plan to proceed forward. She was so thorough, it gave me hope that my pain would finally go away. Then she took me into her Office Managers office (Wendy) to start the planning process. Wendy was absolutely wonderful! I could not make a surgery date until I had another procedure first. Wendy gave me her business card and said to call her when I was ready to schedule. Her phone is always on! Dr. Montero and her staff are amazing. In today's times you just do not see this level of professionalism anymore.

Don’t waste your time if you’re overweight! You pay the copay just for her to tell you “you’re too big there’s nothing we can do” I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING FOR MONTHS and waited weeks for this appointment just to leave with no answers. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Dr. Monteiro was very sweet and heard my concerns since day one! She has also been so concerned for my health that I spoke to PCP about them and started working on those changes thanks to her! I would recommend her as your surgeon you will be in great hands

I qualified her staff to see if they do non mesh hernia surgery and they informed me it is a case by case basis. Meeting Dr Monteiro, she informed me she is not trained to do non mesh surgery. I wasted 2 hrs of my day plus waiting 4 weeks to get an appointment.

I thought the whole staff and Dr. Monterio were great. I felt very relaxed. At first I was a little nervous, but later calm down.

Dr Monteiro is professional, she is very invested in her patients and goes the extra mile. She takes time to hear her patients, and answers throughly. No rush! Her staff are knowledgeable and are on top of changes with insurance issues and they also provide great follow up.
