Round Bird Coffee Shop, Jacksonville Beach FL

Every time I come here, the employees are so standoffish— like I’m coming into their home uninvited. Today I arrived right at open and got a huge glare for it by a girl with blue hair. The door wasn’t even unlocked at 7 am.

Also, I had the best pastry of my life here, a creamed horn, and it’s never showed up again. They don’t even know where it came from because they order from bakeries all around town. At least keep a log and instruct your employees on it so they don’t give me the deer in the headlights look when I ask where it came from or when it will be back.

And hire kind employees, not just girls with RBF.

The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for a chat with a friend or a relaxed study session. One of my favorite coffee shops in Jax Beach. Food and pastries are also almost all made in-house and delicious! Little taste of South Africa cuisine.

Really good coffee shop with laid back vibe and not pretentious. Friendly staff and nice selection of various coffees plus baked goods and such. Close to beaches.

Love the lattes. A little creamy. Yum.

Generally, cold indoors when it's cold outdoors. Moving from seat to seat to cozy up, doesn't help.

I come here for a cup of afternoon coffee - always good and fresh. I appreciate that the coffee is never old or warm, but freshly made and hot and tastes great!

I love their bourbon caramel toffee hot coffee. The staff is always friendly and professional. Their blueberry muffins are amazing.

Best coffee shop I have literally ever entered! The pastries, the coffee, the vibe, the music, the fact that it’s named “round bird” I love it!

It seems to be a place that you might want to add sugar or flavor to the coffee help it taste good. Or get a good snack. For some people that’s what your looking for then come on by. It’s not my cup of coffee. This is not a speciality coffee shop.

My experience with coffee ranges from (bleh) instant to living on a coffee farm in Kealakekua-Kona, HI. The coffee here is excellent. It's really hard to find espresso that isn't bitter. This place does it. I was really impressed by the full flavor of the coffee even in an iced latte. Kudos Round Bird!

I felt at home today! I was home sick and this definitely made my day. South African pies best made and plus there are some south African goodies in store too. Thank you guys for opening up this amazing coffee shop I enjoyed every bite.

Great coffee, super friendly, and everything made to drink is served in glass or ceramic cups, not paper or plastic. Great vibe.

Fresh, made to order hot and cold coffees, teas & spritzers. Delicious food. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. My go-to for all my caffienated needs.

Every time I try a new dessert I fall more in love than I did with the last one. The lavender cheesecake stuffed cookies are phenomenal. The lavender pecan bar is insanely delicious. And those raspberry rose macarons are so smooth and silky.

Horrible experience. Coffee subpar. I order 2 lattee. Yes if course, I ordered 2 lattes. Honestly, I didn’t specify cold or hot which was my mistake. They brought out hot; then I asked if they could be made cold. Typically, she had a bit of an attitude I don’t mention names, but I said no problem I’ll pay for them. Paid for them immediately; then asked again not once not twice but 3x hey I can charge you for the 2 lattes. I felt like I was hounded and assumed I was going steal them. Remind you I ordered around almost 37 dollars worth of coffee. Prepaid for already before I made another two. Just bad experience, honestly no common sense to customer service. I am also a business owner, I wanted you to see this, once you do. I will delete the bad review don’t worry sir/ma’m: no way I want to harm your business
