Royal Nail Spa, Tallahassee FL

I went to this spa last Friday. I really enjoyed that experience but come 2 days later my nail breaks. I called and made an appointment today at 5: 15. I showed up on time was told to find the color. So far everything is normal right? We’ll I couldn’t find the color and the staff refused to help me and claimed I didn’t come and get my nails done here. This is even after the fact that my previous tech literally said she did my nails. I had to wait 40 minutes to get any sort of help and ended up walking out. This place is a mess, has terrible costumer service and you shouldn’t come here if you expect your nails to last long or expect the employees to actually give you the service you paid for. Absolutely terrible 0/10. If I could make this a 0 star review I would.

Love the place! Amber is a wonderful technician. She makes sure everything is PERFECT and that you are happy. The complimentary wine, soda or water is a great perk. Samantha (manager) is fantastic with any customer issue.

This was a great experience. I got a full set from Steven today and he knew exactly what I was looking for. I recommend Steven 100%. HE WAS AWESOME!

Maybe you’ll receive a warmer welcome if you don’t look like me. Only giving two stars instead of one because they offer one complimentary beverage while you receive your service. Tommy, who did my gel pedicure, today had a very unfriendly demeanor. They don’t treat their other customers like that. I wish someone else had done my pedicure. Will never return to this establishment.

Expensive, but had a phenomenal experience with Lindsey. Pedicure was a different person and just OK.

Absolutely stunning! They took me in 1 hour before closing and didn’t run me off! First time coming here and this officially will be my forever nail salon, saying goodbye to Villa Nails and now choosing to come here! Thanks to LUCY! She did my nails EXACTLY as the photo I showed her! She was sooooo kind and patient, when I asked for small things like specifically on how I want them done she kindly said “of course” instead of huffing and puffing like most places do, she is my new Nail Tech Reasonable prices as well! Literally obsessed with my nails! Thank you LUCY!

If I could give zero stars I would. I went here with my sorority and we were all up charged and taken advantage of for awful service. I repeatedly asked to fix my nails and was told no, I also asked the nail tech to stop hurting my toes after I was cut serval times around my toe nail bed and was still constantly in pain. Every women in my sorority was charged $50+ over the average amount for a nail appointment. When comparing checks we were all charged differently for the same service. I paid close to $200 for a gel pedicure and a full ombré set.never in my life have I paid this ridiculous amount of money for my nails, especially getting the worst quality ever. When I made a comment about this incident to the manager I was only given $10 back. My toes are still in pain.

I love this place. Everyone there is amazing and professional. I don't have a certain person I see because I have no idea when my schedule will allow me to stop in to get a gel pedicure and basic manicure.

Hands down worst experience. $58 for acrylic set that looks like this. Just got it done less than an hour ago. Matte top coat didn’t completely cover the nails. White specs in the nails. Literally looks like I need a fill when it was done today. Would usually have asked the nail tech to fix them or to just take them off, but he was extremely rude and spent the entire time scoffing and rolling his eyes, acting like it was a burden to even have to do my nails. Never coming back here again. My friend who came with me had amazing looking nails, so maybe I just got a bad nail tech. Extremely unhappy.

Best spa in tally and I've been to several and no one does it like they do! Great people and family owned

I did not have time to do my SNS before leaving home for business travel so decided to look up a place here in Tallahassee. Googled who does SNS and Royal Nail Spa popped up. Stopped in after work and Olivia was able to take me and did one of the best SNS manicures I think I have ever had. Business has me traveling here for several more months and expect to go back.

I have never had a bad service here. All of the techs are great, and there are always mimosas flowing and HGTV playing in the background. I will never go anywhere else if I can help it

Got a gel acrylic for my nails and a polish change for my toes. I was already a little bit iffy about the place from the reviews. Sure enough, my gel polish came off the next day and my nail started to lift after that.

Great service! I have tried a total of three nail salons in Tallahassee, and Royal is way above the competition. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff (unfortunately not the norm around town.) Can't wait to go back for my next manicure!

Unfortunately mine and my daughters experience was not that great. 2 men did our pedicures. They rushed each step and our polish was rolling off before we could get out of the salon. Either their product is bad or it was just applied to quickly. It was a waste of our money. Also it did not seem very clean.

I came for a walk in, and was finished my dip mani in 40 minutes flat! The gentleman who did my nails was fast, gentle, and did a great job. This is a great salon and I will definitely be returning for my next manicure.

I’ve gone to royal nail spa for about a year now. I am a busy college student and I have not been able to find another salon who can flawlessly do a mani pedi in around just an hour. They never let me leave unhappy and the salon is very nice and feels luxurious. The only reason I didn’t give it 5/5 because for a young person it is pretty pricey. But overall amazing experience, couldn't recommend it enough.

My opinion is one of many, but I think it’s worth considering being that my experiences here have been consistently negative. The younger nail techs seem to do a more thorough job. Both times I’ve gone for simple acrylics, the job has been rushed and it showed in the final product. The place wasn’t packed or anything so I’m not sure of the reason.
