Nice trails for walking ending in a boardwalk and dock on a lake, swamp area. Dogs not allowed.

This out of the way park has lots of places to walk. Starting with a concrete path that goes 825 feet to a pavilion with benches. It’s supposed to overlook a wetland but it was totally dry. Still a great place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. The other trails are natural surfaces. Four other trails are from 850 feet to 2.5 miles plus an Equestrian trail (permit required). Maps are available at the Kiosk at the parking lot.

Visited this preserve on a Sunday afternoon with the family. It's easy to drive to, parking is small but there was just one more car when we got there. It's quiet and serene; we biked the short loop of about 2 miles, good enough for our daughter. There's also a nice boardwalk with a couple of benches. There are several other trails that are much longer. No wildlife when we went, but maybe it was just the time of day.

Spent a few hours hiking the trails. Great place to train kids to tolerate longer hikes and practice proper compass use. Will be back to perfect their training.

Great hidden gem in the middle of the burbs. Saw some footprints of different animals, very cool spot with a good amount of shade from the pines. Go early in the morning amd or early evening to avoid heat related illnesses in the summer.

An interesting nature area that is accessed by driving to a small parking lot in the middle of a neighborhood. Hard to imagine that you are in the right place, but there it is. Offering both trails and a paved walkway leading to a boardwalk out to an overlook, this hidden gem is worth seeking out. We were there during the dry time, so the wildlife was limited, but it's easy to sit on a bench and see the possibilities. When out at the shelter at the end of the boardwalk it's hard to imagine that homes are as close as they are. The walkway is an easy and quick stroll.

Great and quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. All the trails are cool and the pavilion is a nice place to sit for a while

It's a quiet, peaceful place for a hike. No crowds on a Sunday morning. I did not see any wildlife other than a small snake.

This is a serene area to go hiking. You drive through an upscale neighborhood to get to the parking area where there's a map of a few trails which vary in length. Bicycles are not allowed but there's an equestrian trail. There are no public restrooms and no concessions. With no major roads nearby, it's nice and quiet so it feels like you've escaped for a bit. Also, the sand is fairly soft in some areas, so it's a bit more challenging.

I'm so glad this piece of Palm Beach County was reserved and kept in its natural state. It's a mind, body and spirit break to just go and walk there and get away from it all. If you pay close attention you will see many species of native wild flowers, ferns, shrubs, trees and palms.

Truly a little gem in Royal Palm Beach. We were so happy to know that the city preserved this area for the population to enjoy its natural habitat. Not to mention how many Jesus lizards and other animals we seen. Awesome place. We did notice the ground was literally crawling with millions of grasshoppers I guess it was the time of year.

Nice area for hiking with a concrete path that leads to a boardwalk that overlooks a marsh. There are many trails with pine trees and palmetto, but the trails are not easy to see. So if you like exploring the woods, it is great!

This was a nice quick trail to enjoy an evening walk with my kids. The main trail is short (which is exactly what I wanted) but there are other trails if you’re looking for something longer. The main trail leads to a gazebo with a nice, simple view. Nothing spectacular but it was still nice.

Don't understand we're driving around this whole area that's flagged and there is nothing here. I called the number she transferred me to someone's voicemail

Nice place. Has vernal ponds that dry up occasionally, so don't expect any fish, but maybe salamanders. No pets allowed, but horses are.

It's a nice quiet place full of pine trees. I walked almost four miles. There were beautiful wild flowers and colorful grasshoppers along the trails. I didn't notice other wildlife. I enjoyed it!

Wonderful place to enjoy the nature. Seen all kinds of creatures, from tortoises, through snakes, to owls and other birds. Love the sweet smell of pine needles, serene calmness and quiet surroundings. Be sure to come back to the park by the sunset as I got locked in. The gate closes around sunset.
