Royal Palm Executive Interstate Movers, Oakland Park FL

They took excellent care of our possessions. Moving caused little damage to one of my belongings, but I am working with customer support to have it fixed or replaced.

The final bill matched the estimate precisely. No hidden fees, no surprises. They were transparent about the costs from the start.

They came on time and finished when they said they would. It helped me plan my day better, and I didn't have to wait around.

The movers went above and beyond by unpacking all my belongings at my new place without my request. I truly appreciate their assistance!

These movers are lit! They easily moved my entire house, including the large dining table and the cozy couch. I'm happy!

This has been the most pleasant moving experience I've ever had. Despite the snowy conditions, the movers completed the relocation without a hitch.

BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS!

We reached out to Royal Palm Moving for our interstate move and were quoted 418 for our one bedroom apartment. On the day the movers show up the movers let us know that the 3rd party (Royal Palm Moving) grossly misquoted our move. The movers let us know we would need over 1,200 cubic feet.

Not only did they misquote us but the movers didn't have room on the truck. They told us they would have to split the items between two trucks (and deliver the rest of our items at a later date).

We were then given a new price of $11,700 (to move 1,200 cubic feet). The quoted price was off by 4x times the amount we originally were quoted. In the agreement we signed it stated the original price quoted wouldn't increase unless we added additional weight, or cubic feet to be moved.

During the first initials call we gave the representative a count and details of all the items that would need to be moved but when the movers showed up they said the space they reserved for us wouldn't even move our bedroom set.

This caused us to be in a panic and emotional distress because we couldn't afford $11,700 and we needed all of our items moved together. We ended up having to cancel the moving truck because we couldn't pay for the new quoted amount. I called Royal Palms and requested they refund our $1,700 security deposit because they misquoted the move and we didn't add any additional items to the original quote.

We would have never gone ahead with Royal Palm Movers if we had known the cost would be so high. The quote was grossly off and misguided. We've read through other reviews and noticed other customers have recently had the exact same experience as us.

It seems like this company is scamming customers with bait-and-switch techniques. I've called Royal Palms to inquire about the litigation process. I was told to send an email (email sent 10/04/2023) and someone would respond to me in 7-10 business days. I still haven't received a response and when I call I get told to send another email or I get disconnected.

I've submitted a claim with the BBB (10/18/2023), and Royal Palms has still not responded. I'll post another review in 30 days with any updates on the progress with the BBB and Royal Palms.

The lack of integrity of this company is a huge red flag and companies that operate like this shouldn't be allowed to do business.

I hope I can save someone from being taken advantage of by this corrupt company. I would stay far away!

They delivered all the packing supplies, including specially made crates for the delicate objects. I can't express how grateful I am that they delivered my stuff securely enough!

Worst company ever. I was told my stuff will arrive in 4 days, and two weeks passed and my stuff is still in my origin city. Update, a month passed and my stuff has not arrived. My stuff finally arrived after two months. Although, half of my stuff got lost or damaged. The value of the stuff lost is around 10,000. When I contacted the company, they referred me to their insurance. The insurance offered $75 only!

They carefully packed my entire house, including my bulky exercise equipment, with all the packing materials they provided.

NIGHTMARE! Don't EVER use this company. Steve Vecchio, the owner, told us our things would get from PA to FL in 3 to 5 days. We didn't get it until SIX WEEKS later. After a few weeks, Steve stopped taking our calls or calling us back. Our things were crushed, unwrapped, things were stolen, and we got someone else's mattress, furniture, clothes and shoes. Our couch had no blanket wrapping on it when it arrived. It was opened and being dragged around in the truck. All the boxes had been opened and they took whatever they wanted. DISGRACEFUL.
