I give no stars it was the worst from day 1 from front desk services to room service over charging of my card to keys not working I’ll never go back

It is one of the best hotels it has very beautiful and comfortable rooms the views are beautiful you have the beach in front of you and you have two very nice pools the service is of very high quality

Low-end hotel, which owes its merit only to its location. Very simple rooms, rather poorly lit, with a large vis-à-vis on the building next door, hence the obligation to live with closed curtains, and poorly soundproofed due to the fact that there are tiling, but clean. Comfortable bed. Unreachable room service (line always busy they had to pick up to not be disturbed…)
Breakfast very basic and of poor quality.

Service excellent, couldn't be more helpful. View fantastic, beach wonderful room clean, spacious and comfortable. Great hotel all round.

Lovely hotel, amazing views, lovely people. Just think it might be time to update some of the rooms. I understand no microwave I suppose, but no refrigerator? We can do better than a minibar with the door that won't close getting in the way every time I'm headed to the bathroom.

Other than that I enjoyed the pool area, and the hot tub water fall is beautiful. However the constant splashing in one's face is not. Overall I enjoyed my stay!

Boy, did I sure love my visit to Miami Beach!
I could totally see myself leaving here & calling there my next home!
It was such an easy place to pass the hot, summer days.
Everywhere is walkable.
The streets were lively. Everyone is part of the pulse of that city.
I was eyeing the rental vacancies, albeit a 4 bdr condo is more my speed.

I really wanted to like this hotel because most of the staff were so sweet, but the property is not kept up and in need of a serious upgrade.

I feel this is an ownership/management issue, as the staff seemed eager to help but many were poorly trained or did not have the resources to correct the issues. This looked like years of upkeep neglect.

-The railings at the pool were literally rusted out and not connected to the ground.
-All of the white upholstery in the lobby and guest rooms were filthy!
-There was paint literally falling off the walls to the floor in the hallway outside our room.
-The tiles in the room showers were cracked and missing, revealing dark wall or mold behind.
-No bikes were available for our stay (included in the resort fee) as they were all out for “maintenance. ”
-If you get an umbrella at the beach, the 3 person staff will come to collect it two hours early so that they can “get out of here in time. ”

I have more but you get the point. I, unfortunately, can not recommend this hotel.

This hotel had the appearance of a nice hotel. The lobby, rooms and conference rooms were of nice decor but upon closer inspection of the rooms I was not happy with my stay. The bathroom smelled musty. Not sure if the room wasn't cleaned properly or if the hotel had a sewer problem. The water pressure and water temperature was good. It was strange to see the closet in the bathroom. Felt weird to hang my clothes and store my shoes in the bathroom. The bed was horrible! Felt clumpy and was soft like a cotton ball. I stayed for three nights and did not sleep well. The bedsheets were crisp and white which I do like but that couldn't make up for the horrible mattress. During my last night at this hotel the fire alarm went off around 5 am. This interrupted the little sleep I was getting. We didn't have to evacuate the building. When I went down to the lobby later on around 8 am the flashing lights from the fire alarm system were still going off. The location of the hotel is convenient since it's on Collins avenue and you can walk to a lot of restaurants, beach, and retail shops. There is a Walgreens a block and a half away on Collins avenue.

Priceline gives the Royal Palm a 4.5 star rating, so I was expecting a 4.5 star hotel, but was very disappointed. This place is very old and tired. I mean you can only paint things so much. There are not enough chairs at the pool for people and it is very cramped. I disliked very much the fact that there is a sliding bathroom door that did not even close all the way, let alone being able to lock it. The positives were that the room was clean and lovely people work here and the location is great. I would give this hotel only a 3-3.5 star and will definitely not return.

It is a nice hotel but not intended for families with children. We spent 2 nights there and actually wanted to stay longer, but it was definitely not possible. There was a constant party in the rooms next door. Most of the hotel guests went outside to buy their cheap alcohol in the supermarket to have a party in their rooms until morning.we paid $400 per night for the hotel and couldn't even sleep.very unfortunate for a 4 star hotel, so not a place for families.

Stays do not accept cash, all credit Card.
-After checkout they keep sending you charges.

Small rooms for the price. Seems like only one person can comfortably fit on the tiny balcony. For a resort, the pool closed too early. If the room says it has a fridge, beware, it's fully stocked and there is no place for you to put anything. No microwave. Read the fine print about beach chairs.the umbrella costs $25, and is not included. The restaurant is expensive. Don't leave anything in your car that you may need, you aren't allowed to simply go to your car to get it. They go. You can get the whole car brought to you or tell them what you want them to bring you out of the car. Room didn't get cleaned alrhough you pay the fees. Had to ask for towels.but the workers are really nice.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The quality of the food is as bad as the Fairfield Inn or worse. The breakfast was bland, poor quality and very limited option to have. I spoke with the manager of this location and I suggested to expand their choice of breakfast. The breakfast was as bad as grabbing breakfast from a gas station. Do not come to this hotel.

Worst experience of my life never thought I experience racial profiling I arrived around 8: 30 I been skating all night so I was sweaty eddie worst than a call duty sweat, so my phone was dead so I sat in lobby and put my phone on charger to book a room on Expedia app not with in 5 mins I surrounded by rent a cops and ask why here said I'm charging my phone so I reserve a room for holiday weekend I live in miami but I like to rent hotel and take a break he had nerve to tell you don't belong here get out and I reply I trying to get room he get out I do upset I just walk out I can't stuff like this is still happening in 2023 I just trying get room it my right be in hotel lobby I so disgusted cuz I a black man I get treated like and funny thing my last name is blackmon now I know how racist feels like I didn't like my experience that security guard need be fired on the spot and change view of works for real

If you are looking for a really well located hotel on South Beach with direct access to the beach, gym, swimming pools with sunscreen dispensers, activities of all kinds and close to shops and restaurants, look no further. The Royal Palm is your hotel. Be aware, however, that the rooms are not the most luxurious even if they are spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is fairly basic, but lacks nothing. The strong point of this establishment however remains the location, but the counterpart will be a fairly lively and noisy environment outside. Upstairs, the bedrooms are calm and relaxing.

WARNING! DONT STAY HERE, THE ROYAL PALM WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. Do not check out without triple checking your invoice. Don’t believe them when they say they are going to send you your money back. This is a Common Practice here. They will take your money by overcharging you, putting other rooms charges on your room, after you check out they will continue to charge you. I don’t usually leave reviews but it’s disappointing when the hotel I usually come to when I’m in town overcharges you, acknowledges their mistake and still doesn’t send you your money back. I KNOW IM NOT GOING TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND I DONT EXPECT TO ANYMORE. AT LEAST I CAN WARN OTHERS BEFORE YOU STAY. This hotel WAS one of my favorite hotels to stay at but it is not worth it when they are going to over charge you and not refund. Pay Attention to your bill and your bank account. IF YOUR GOING TO STAY HERE Do not leave it to them to charge you fairly. Pay attention! I personally will never book this hotel again. Airbnb is a better option. I know they may try to respond to this review to save face but it’s too late the damage has been done and my money has been taken unfairly. If your thinking about staying here. This is a warning. Don’t think it won’t happen to you! Who cares about how nice a place is if the business isn’t fair or trustworthy!

What to say.the location is five star.located near the main streets of Miami beach.in fact there is no need for a car to move.the services are quite good.in the price the room includes towels and sunbeds for the sea and for the pool.not the umbrellas.they charge 25 dollars for them. 2 hours of cycling.and various sports.the rooms are a bit dated and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. I had asked to postpone the check out from 11 to 15.they asked me 150 dollars.a bit too much I think.but it must be said that they kept my luggage for free.with a good renovation it would be the top
