Ruffgers Dog University - Stuart Dog Training & Boarding

Ruffgers is an amazing doggy daycare and boarding facility. I love that for a nominal fee, your fur baby can have obedience or agility training during their stay. I also love that the dogs have rooms, and are not crated. The staff is always so friendly, and go above and beyond to make a great experience for our fur babies!

When my dog was returned to us after a 5 day vacation she had hook worms from this place not cleaning up the feces in the yard or testing other dogs prior to stay. She lost weight and wasn’t eating while she was there. Never received a call or anything. Then they fed her a whole bag of treats as her food. This place could care less. Not going back! They lied and said her nails we cut and they never cut them.

Ruffgers in Stuart is a great place for doggy day care and boarding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our boy Blu has so much fun that he doesn’t want to leave when I go to pick him up. He recently stayed there for 12 days. Ruffgers took excellent care of him. It was a comfort to go away on vacation knowing he was happy and being well taken care of during his stay.

My pups love this place! We were greeted very nicely and when we got a tour of the place, it looked very clean! They even had a pool, which got my puppies going.we will definitely take our babies there again.

Best place to bring your dogs.the staff here take precaution on assessing dogs first and they do a very good job at maintaining the rooms very well make sure that all dogs have water and that all dogs go outside to play. In conclusion this is definitely the place to board/daycare your dogs

Shout out to Reese! We have been bringing our dog, Yogi, in for boarding for several years. We don't board him very often, so he is usually pretty anxious when we pick him up. Yesterday, we picked Yogi up after he spent the day with Reese, and he was noticeably less anxious! We could tell he was excited to see us, but other than that, he was pretty calm! While we trust everyone at Ruffgers with our dog, Reese seems to have a special way with Yogi! We are so grateful to Reese for the care he gave to our Yogi!

Ruffgers is such a wonderful facility that i would recommend to anyone looking to leave their dog in safe hands either for the day or while you’re on vacation.the facility is incredibly clean and the staff genuinely loves and cares about dogs and their well-being.they have the space and tons of activities to ensure that your furry friend is getting the most enriching experience possible for a good price.i can’t say enough good things about this place.

Left our Labradoodle here for a 10-day stay. When we picked him up, he seemed really off — he was weak, had trouble walking, and was coughing really badly. I can't imagine this all happened just before we picked him up, and I'm surprised no one reached out to let us know. I understand dogs can pick up things at boarding places, but a heads-up would've been appreciated.

I noticed Kevin mentioned a similar experience with his dog around the same time in his review.

Thankfully, our dog's recovering now, but we'll likely be looking for other options next time.

I have two senior puppers that had never been boarded until we had an emergency and Ruffgers was highly recommended. Our dogs drag us in.they love it and love the staff. What a comfort:)

We love Ruffgers! It's my two doggies home away from home. They always greet us so warmly and my dogs can't wait to get inside and join the fun. They're very accommodating and have been very understanding when we've been late to pick up because of traffic. I highly recommend!

Dog very sick after being there for 7 days in July and still sick. Have had to go to the vet multiple times for meds and X-rays and blood work due to complications of kennel cough etc. Called staff to speak to manager and was brushed off like it was no big deal.

Our dog has been coming to Ruffgers since a puppy. He loves his fun place and especially the pool! The staff has undergone some changes to improve keeping our dogs safe and we appreciate it!

A few months back I had reserved a few days of dog care with Ruffgers for my golden retriever Bodhi. Last minute we had to cancel our trip and my deposit was not refunded but I was promised by then manager Gina Feldman that we could use this unrefundable deposit towards future use. Today I called to use my credit of over $400.00 dollars and was denied and told my credit had been forfeited. I reached out to upper management today but was again denied. I was promised something and Ruffgers did not fulfill their promise to me. I would not recommend Ruffgers to anyone they took my money and did not do what they said.

I have been bringing my three year old Mini Goldendoodle name Roxy to Ruffgers since she was eight months old she loves it and the staff is wonderful. I am very happy here and so is Roxy. Thank you for all you do for her!

My dogs love Ruffgers. Our various dogs have been going there for over 17 years. (Previously the Fur Seasons). Have been so happy that Ruffgers has continued the service and added training.

Excellent doggie daycare location. They have the space to handle large dogs. I have two big boys (105 and 90 lbs) and they have a lot of freedom to spread out. Their recently updated daycare hours of 730-730 Monday to Friday’s and 730-6 Saturdays are also worth mentioning. I can tell my boys are tired out when they come home which is what I really need daycare for for when I do use their services. 5 stars all around ️️️️️!

We’ve been taking our dog Hudson to Ruffgers since it was Fur Seasons. We are so much happier with the new ownership and staff at Ruffgers. We feel like they really care about all of the dogs in their care. When I drop Hudson off for doggy daycare, I know that he will be well taken care of and have a fun day - he loves the pool! We appreciate that there are cameras so that we can watch him throughout the day if we’re able to. I would highly recommend taking your pup to Ruffgers.
