Returned for a follow up appointment w/ Dr. Ash & waited for 50 mins after being told I was the first or second patient in line to be seen.

I decided to leave without being seen & never come back. I always wait almost an hour to be seen after my actual appointment time & the staff is not the greatest group of people.

Please do not waste your time out of any of your days to ever come here.

Their processes definitely need to be streamlined or reevaluated. I completed the new patient intake form online and STILL had to complete a paper copy when I arrived.

NP Coronica and her MA were both very dismissive and stereotyped me from the very beginning. I was questioned multiple times about NOT being on contraceptives until I was asked my marital status. NP Coronica was very abrupt and constantly told me in an accusatory tone "do not put anything in your ear canal" despite me informing her that I didn't/don't. (I am a trained LPN and know how to effectively irrigate my ears.) There are other things I can list but will stop here. It was a lot of ASSUMING going on and not enough LISTENING. (Capitalized for emphasis)

As an LPN, I have worked at a federally funded community health center before with some AMAZING providers. However, not ALL patients are the same. I realize that I am just a number here and not seen as an actual patient with concerns. I will be changing my primary care to another health care provider soon.

I need to know that my primary care provider is actually listening to me and not just making judgements about me based on the rest of the patient demographic.

Professional, courteous and very respectful! Primary care and dental staff are wonderful! The pharmacy is not effecient. Prescriptions are never ready.

I have been bringing my children here since 2017 and I have to say I really love the staff and doctors! Dr. Lochner has to be one of the most intelligent and kind humans I have ever met! And he also served this country in the Air Force. I just found out today that they have other specialties in this building and I’m going to use everything they have because of how great of an experience we have had with the pediatrics! I had such a wonderful experience here. It was my first time coming here as a new patient. I was welcomed right away by the friendly information desk. My insurance coverage was explained to me and I was informed of all of the other services that were available there as well in case I needed anything else. All the staff I saw said hello and were smiling. The nurse practitioner I saw Marcia Bates was so very friendly and took her time answering all my questions and she was very knowledgeable and personable! She truly cares about her patients. You can see that right away. The medical assistant was so nice and was happy to go over all my meds and made sure I had my next appointment set up. I Thank Everyone for their time and kindness.

The two ladies in the front need to learn to smile, and to LEARN MANNERS.especially since i asked to make an appointment in 6 months and they didnt even ask what day i would like, they picked a random day and handed me the paper with the appointment on it, no “have a nice day” no smile, no anything. AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME i’ve encountered those two rude and lazy girls in the front with no manners. And after reading all the reviews for this place, I guess the front desk people are indeed always in a bad mood.

My appointment is for 9am, I been sitting for almost well over an hour and yet to be called back just for a depo shot, why have a appointment and wait for a hour to be seen! This is ridiculous especially when this appointment was made 3 months a head of time! No one even cares I been sitting here when I asked when am I gonna be called back!

I recently visited Suncoast Health Center in Riverview for a same-day appointment after my son was diagnosed with flu B. Unfortunately, the experience was not up to the standard I expected. Despite informing the medical assistant that my son had tested positive for flu B, there seemed to be a push to administer a COVID and strep throat test which I had declined, leading to an uncomfortable situation where the medical assistant led me to believe she was just going to swab my nose, then forced a Q-tip to the back of my nostril. Additionally, the attitude displayed was not professional, and the comments made about the facility were disheartening After she told me, I should’ve went to the doctors office my son was diagnosed at instead of coming here because their clinic is poor, and they don’t have updated technology. Dawanna Ash, while informed of the situation with the MA, did not address my concerns about the flu exposure adequately and suggested no preventative measures We’re out there to prevent flu B. It was only after visiting another urgent care that same day, I received oseltamivir phosphate (TAMIFLU) to help with the flu exposure I had from my son. The level of care and professionalism at Suncoast Community Health Center on this occasion was concerning, and I believe it warrants attention to ensure that patients receive the care and respect they deserve.

TAMIFLU is a prescription medicine used to treat the flu (influenza) in people 2 weeks of age and older who have had flu symptoms for no more than 2 days. TAMIFLU can also reduce the chance of getting the flu in people 1 year and older. TAMIFLU does not prevent bacterial infections that may happen with the flu.

The staff, front & back always look like they're in a bad mood. After my appointment all of the lights were off & I couldn't even find anyone in the back to ask what are the next steps as far as a follow up or a possible next appointment. If you have an afternoon appointment, say 3pm, you will be rushed because of the staff wanting to leave. I understand everyone has a life outside of work but please do not be in this field if you expect to leave at a specific time ALL THE TIME.
Also, do not come here if you have anxiety because no one will care, not even the doctors. I know no one knows the answers to everything but reassurance helps people with anxiety TREMENDOUSLY. I know that because I work in a field where people have high anxiety. Do yourself a favor & find an office with providers who actually care about your physical & mental health.

When They first opened I was very satisfied but as of almost ten years later, not so happy. Ms Wanita is totally the best. The pharmacy does a great job as well.

If I would put a 0 I would the grandma don’t know what’s he doing, false information and not up to par man man man

My 14 year old daughter has MCNA dental and has been assigned to Amanda Newcity, DMD. But calling this place is an absolute nightmare. I will save you time if you are wanting to call and schedule a new dental patient appointment; they do not have any appointment's available for the rest of the year. They cannot schedule for January 2024 yet. Supposedly, if you call back in November, you might be able to schedule an appointment for next year. This is absolute garbage. I pay for Florida Healthy Kids but have run into nothing but issues trying to schedule new patient appointments for my daughter.

I really hate this is where I have to go to get medical and dental care. Last week it was a problem with me being seen with a doctor till I asked to speak with a supervisor. Today I was denied dental service because I had my kid. I couldn’t get service before because I was pregnant and now it’s a problem because I had my kid with me. The front desk staff sucks and are inconsiderate even the dental provider. I’m still in pain. Waited 3 weeks for this appointment to get nothing done. I wish Medicare had better options with facilities that they recommend for people. I also feel as if I get treated differently because I’m not Hispanic. Like dang I’ve been in pain with my tooth for over 6 months and still can’t get help. I really hate this place and everyone in it! And here I am still in pain writing this review. Very disappointed in everything about this facility and the people who call themselves trying to help. I’m a single mother who just had a kid and no one to watch him but me! So he’s going to be present at every doctor appointment. Till he’s old enough for daycare or something. Wish I was advise of this beforehand, just a waste of time. And the two Peter griffin looking ladies find another job yall was no help at all.

The dental department was amazing! I had a horrible tooth ache pain. I was able to get in the next day after calling and soon as I got in they did an amazing job. Thank you to Janet Ramirez the dental assistant who took care of me and also Dr. Ordonez. Melissa the hygienist who did my cleaning. Thank you ladies you all were amazing.

The office staff lacks the training and professionalism necessary for the role. They are rude and dismissive for the most part and seem to be more concerned with carrying on their personal conversations rather than assisting patients. Each time I have been there I have had to wait a minimum of an hour and a half just to be seen with an appointment. Yesterday, I waited for nearly two hours (with an appointment) and not one person I encountered said anything about the wait. Collectively I was there for 2.5 hours, only to be told that labs would not be done because I needed to fast. Of course, this was not mentioned at the time of the appointment. The prescription was not called in yesterday, nor has it been called in this morning. After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, the person who answered told me that "sometime they get overwhelmed. "

We have medicaid for low income, they don't have to treat us like a low class.we will be have nicer insurance in the future. Same of people work there. I hope they treat us as human not less.

This a great clinic with many services to offer. You can go walk in and see a doctor. They also have a dentist that you can go walk in to and see. They do bloodwork here, there's an optometrist you can see and get an eye exam and if you need glasses you can get fitted for those also. They also have a full service pharmacy here. So its very well equipped for multiple medical problems. If you go walk in sometimes there's a long wait so I would highly advise getting their as early as possible and you won't wait long at all.

Dora was amazing and did her job wonderfully! She was so kind and patient with me! She helped me fill out an application for insurance and exceeded my expectations. One of the best staff members by far that I’ve met at Suncoast Community Health Center
