Rustic Inn Crabhouse, Fort Lauderdale FL

We visited for a friend’s birthday it was nine of us. Staff was nice, food and drinks were very good. Conch fritters, fried gator, fried fish, scallops, grilled chicken, cocktail shrimp, fried shrimp. Only downside is the heat a/c doesn’t seem to be working well for the amount of traffic this place gets.

I hadn't been here in 25 years. The restaurant grew but they kept the vibe from back when. GARLIC CRABS all day.
Visit family and was over joyed we came here to eat. Love them and this place.

Overdue review! Recently remembered the place from s stop before a cruise last winter, I’m planning my next cruise and this place is first on my list for restaurants when I’m back in the area. Just get the garlic crab combo!

Favorite spot for garlic crabs. The scenery over the water is nice. I've never had a bad plate.

Prices are now exorbitant! Used to go there at least once a month or more. Stop going as prices were getting a little much, but now. $55 for one person's meal and soda. Did not even order an appetizer!

Perfect end to vacation! Arrived to FLL airport from Cancun with a delay and layover. The seafood was AMAZING! Highly highly recommend! Server was great too and the mikes tea was AWESOME!

This place was awesome. The food was delicious. We sat out on the deck. There was fish in the water right off the deck. The airport is close and you can see all the planes coming in. The give these wooden mallets to everyone to bang for people's birthday and also to use to break the crab/lobster shells. The service was great.

Amazing experience! On vacation with the family (children 7 & 9 years old). We were seated outdoors on the deck. The view was beautiful! Crab leg platter was sufficient and delicious. Calamari, frog legs, and gator tail did not disappoint. The kids even ate some saying it was good! The lobster bisque was a bit disappointing, but the server removed it without hesitation. Of course hitting the mallets on the table was their favorite part. Our server was attentive and on point with all our requests and needs. Will certainly return! Clean facilities. Family friendly. Be ready to spend for all the seafood options.

Rustic Inn is always a treat! We had a blast! Steve the server, was very attentive and very courteous. I sneaked in an order of frog legs and called them "chicken wings" and he recommended to get the "chicken wings" and "chicken nuggets" (the chicken nuggets was gator tail).

It was an excellent experience, the food was incredible, and the service was top notch. Will definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful time at your restaurant.

Been coming here for years, Rustic Inn never disappoints, service, food are always 5 star. We are looking forward to continuing to come for many many more years.

My group had to wait for a little while but the food was really good. We also had a good amount of food.

7/21/23 12: 10 pm. Stopped by for lunch and the server said were out of water. Got up from table and headed with my sons to Islamorada Fish Co. Instead. Down the street by Bass Pro Shop/Outdoor World.

Great food! The garlic Dungeness crab SUPER! Delicious fried calamari! And a lobster brisket from another world!

NEVER AGAIN! We went to dinner on Thursday night. We ordered two lobster Fra Diavolos, a pasta with chicken and dessert. The dessert was completely full of mold underneath. We told the waitress. She apologized, said she was embarrassed and took the dessert with her. After a while she came back and told us the manager would come out to talk with us and give us a discount. After a long wait the waitress came with the check which reflected a 10% discount for having served us ROTTEN food. The manager NEVER came to speak with us, apologize or explain why we were served food with mold which imposes health risks. This is completely unacceptable and management needs to address customers and take responsibility when this restaurant exposes patrons to potential health issues. We will be be filing a complaint with the FL DBPR.

Had a very long day sat at the bar each time and 8 bartenders were absolutely wonderful service was good and actually my fellow customers were a joy to talk to.
And really enjoyed the local beer

The food was like 4 out of 10 the steak was really bad also the pasta was overcooked and all the appetizer was frozen and bad quality, our waiter made us feel so rushed and eating there for free, she was super unfriendly to the point we couldn’t ask for anything more, super disappointed my first and last time for sure, never recommended.
