My daughter takes lessons here and loves it! Her trainer is very knowledgeable, friendly and makes you feel comfortable on the horse.

I’ve been to quite a few barns in my 15 years of riding, but this one is my absolute favorite. Being active duty military means that I sometimes have an unpredictable schedule, so it’s important that I board my horse at a stable that I trust. Julie and her staff truly care about both horse and rider, which is very evident to anyone that takes lessons or boards at RTS. The instruction is top-notch without being stressful, and as an adult ammy I really appreciate that. The property is well maintained and all of the horses are healthy and happy. I’m so grateful that I found RTS and I hope to keep my gelding there as long as possible!

Such an amazing barn full of the most friendly and helpful people. Ride there for two years then moved to VA and when we returned, I came straight back to her. She has a wonderful program to suit any level of rider.

2017 is our 7th year enjoying Rustic Trails Stables as both a lesson barn and boarding for our own horse. An excellent riding facilty with knowledgeable instructors, a commitment to rider (and equine) safety and a friendly community for both competitive and casual riding interests. Highly recommend!

RTS has been a God send to my daughter and myself. Julie provides excellent guidance and knowledge to our kids, and provides a fantastic environment for these kids to grow in their equine knowledge and disciplines. We've been at RTS for 10 years now, and there's no place else we could imagine being!

I decided I wanted to learn about horses and take riding lessons at a later age in life (40+). I was nervous that I might be the only beginning adult rider taking lessons, but the wonderful people and instructors at Rustic Trail Stables paired me up with some similar level adults and I had a blast learning to ride.

At Rustic Trail Stables, not only do they teach you to ride with care and concern for the horses, but they also teach you everything from catching your horse in the pasture, grooming, tacking, and general animal care.

Riding at this barn has been a fantastic learning experience. Every lesson was exciting and educational. The instructors are top-notch with concern for safety for both riders and horses. They always paired me with a gentle lesson horse to accommodate my level of riding.

If you have any desire to learn to ride, this is the place to go. My only regret is that I waited to so long to call Rustic Trail Stables and to start my lessons.
