Ryno Trucking reviews
14 I just wanted to take a moment to voice my opinion not to open up a discussion forum or to create any bantering back and forth. Ryno trucking is in my opinion one of the most reputable companies in the trucking business. Upon hire I was told the ins and outs. Nothing was hidden. I had the pleasure of dealing with the owner Ryan directly and Geoff the general manager as I continue to do on a daily basis. I’ve never been misled, never been lied to, never been not paid correctly, never sat waiting for a load, never not got permission to have a tire fixed or any other maintenance I may need. I’ve always been treated with complete respect from top to the bottom in all aspects of the business. If your looking to haul a tank in an otr position it’s worth the call you won’t be disappointed.
Sincerely,
John Power
Otr driver
Not a review but a question………does the company offer a lease program at all, and also do you come up to MN at all? I’m in the process of moving from MN to SE GA, but my dad still lives up here. Just weighing my options about leaving where I am at.
NY husband has worked for Ryno for 3 years now and has been treated very well. Great home time, good pay and when you need to be home for any reason they get you home I would recommend this company to anyone, great company to work for.
Most of the negative reviews are from drivers that had a chip on their shoulders and decided to up and leave the truck somewhere.yes there is a deposit. Bring the truck and fittings back and you will get the deposit back. If you need someone to hold your hand and guide you through everything, then it’s probably not the company for you. They aren’t perfect by any means. I have even thought about quitting a couple of times too. But all you have to do is communicate what the problem is and they will do what they can to help you. Just have to remember the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. I just recently had a friend that passed away (he was a driver for a different company) on a Tuesday evening and they reworked the schedule to get be by his house for a 34 that weekend so I could be there for his family. That alone should tell you what kind of people are at Ryno.
Been working for Ryno Trucking for 3 years. I love it here. Everyone from my dispatcher to the owner are awesome. If something goes wrong with the equipment it gets fixed ASAP. If an emergency comes up and you need to get home they get you there. They take care of their drivers. I can tell you this if you do your job and get the job done right you won’t hear from anyone. If you don’t do your job like you are supposed to this is not the place for you. Laziness don’t work either. And about the $1000.00 deposit I can tell you this that is for damage to the truck and or abandoning the truck where the company has to go get it. I know for a fact that if you give a 2 week notice and bring the truck back to the terminal. You will get that deposit back. I know from working here before. I had to leave for family issues and I was gone for a year and guess what the owner Ryan called me and asked me if I wanted to come back. He’s a stand up Boss. I love this company and love my job.
Former Ryno driver here! Sadly, there are a lot of bad reviews for a company that doesn't deserve the reputation they seem to have online. I know each driver's experience is fairly unique, at the same time there are a number of normal occurrences and deals with any trucking company.
As far as my time with Ryno trucking, I had few issues with the company, had good communication with staff and the owner, and had enough work to keep busy. Anyone of the staff, especially Geoff, Kim, and Marija, will tell you I'm not afraid of asking questions. I appreciated they had answers for me, especially when the answer as "I don't know, I'll find out and get back to you. "
Another thing I appreciated about working for Ryno, was they were up front about not being or pretending to be perfect. Ryan told me that during the interview process, and it was reiterated during my time with the company, usually while they were in the process of improving or fixing company policy or dealing with one of the thousands of situations that can occur, simply because its a truck out on the road. During my mistakes, they were willing to talk with me instead of just screaming and yelling, and helped with getting the situations resolved. Ryan and Geoff were especially understanding and worked with me when I had to take extended personal time off due to family circumstances.
Over all, I had a good experience working for Ryno. My advice to anyone signing on is talk with them, be up front about any issues, and be willing to work with them. They were that way with me.
First, Ryno Trucking is a good trucking company to work for Why I left was due to a eye infection which had to be cared for and I did not want to leave. Did I have fun and enjoyed working here. YES it’s a small company and everyone like Geoff, Kim, Marija, Zach and payroll were Great! Did the truck breakdown.yes but Zach took care of it ASAP! (DEF) they have a Great road service they use and they are Tops and fast too care for you customers you go to are Great too and you go there again many times and will know you by name Very friendly and overnight parking too Dispatch (Kim) what can I say. Well. Great Too! Safety (Marija Great Too! General Manager (Geoff) Great Too! Maintenance (Zach) Great too! Trust me he is Payroll is Great too! And never had any problems with pay So Driver’s this is my honest review of Ryno Trucking (PS.and Yes I got my deposit back and never had to call about it) the deposit is for like MANY companies DO. PEOPLE who do not bring the truck and trailer back, it’s cost money for them to retrieve the equipment! I should know I chased trucks down that were not returned with another company a few years back) Again.like I said. Ryno Trucking is a Great Tanker Company
I worked for them a while they was pretty good they rented me a car to go home and payed for it I received all of my pay check definitely a company I would work for again
Ok so as of now I don't have any one messing with my money or anything to that nature. Just a company like any other doing business. Bring them their truck back and the tools they give you, scan you bol in on time and you will be ok, laid back non rush atmosphere and industry. It's for people who have done all they are going to do, lots grown, house paid, not traveling much, cars paid, not buying any fun times. Easy work, hey out the house type of job. Me I need miles this is not for me. Great guys to talk with. In the dark about what you need or going to do but good people all around. Nothing bad to sad. My last day will the 12 feb 2020. I wish ryno the best thank Ryan lil ryan Maria ronnie joise you guys were very helpful had a great time thank again!
I worked with ryno 2 yrs on a dedicated account had good equipment made good money I average 1200 a week or more love the staff and the opportunity they gave me ryan bring the water back
They screw you out of money when you leave even when you provide a 2 weeks notice. They took over 1800$ of my mans money he worked hard for.
I see nothing wrong with ryno. They kept they word with me so far. Seems like a good decent company so far. And they also have nice attitudes. As well as a open door policy. If u want to talk to Ryan the owner his office is where u can peak your head in and talk with him. If u want to talk to safety Nicole u can just walk in and talk to her. That really won me over with this company. Also their contract ends soon with the international with all Pete's and kws coming soon for the fleet. Thanks to the whole staff with special shout outs to Chris, Nicole, and Ryan
Update: Not working there any longer for personal reasons only. Ryno is a decent company to work for. The pay was great and the routes was both fun and easy. Didn’t really see eye to eye with Nicole but that was my only problem with the company. They did pay me my money owed from my last pay and my security deposit but I had to keep on them for the security deposit pay.
If you work for Ryno and are looking to move on, I will advise you to do so without a 2 week notice. They will screw you out of your money.
Loves Waco, GA should be getting towed as I type this. Think I report this driver to DOT seems as if he may have been to exhausted to safely park his truck. Or it’s abandoned judging from the reviews of this company.
