In a short period of time, SAFEGAURD SELF STORAGE has INCREASED THE AMOUNT OF THEIR RATE on my unit by $71.35. The RATE ON A SMALL UNIT is approximately $330.37 AND INCREASING APPROXIMATELY $35-40.00 WITH EACH “SLIGHT” INCREASE.
I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SAFEGAURD SELF STORAGE…PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING NOTICE YOU WILL RECEIVE AS A “VALUED” CUSTOMER:

It is our goal to provide each of our valued customers with the best possible storage solution at a very competitive price. Since 1989, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to implementing rent increases only when absolutely necessary. However, at times, it is necessary to raise rates slightly in order to help compensate for increases in our operating expenses - and we need to adjust your rate accordingly.
Please be aware: Effective September 1,2023, your new monthly charges will be $330.37, this total is inclusive of rent, plus any applicable taxes, insurance, services and/or fees.
Safeguard recognizes the economic challenges faced by many of our customers and we do not implement this increase without serious consideration.
