IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS, USE THEM. DO NOT USE SAFELITE. The only easy part of dealing with these people is scheduling the initial appointment online. It takes several phone calls to get transferred to a person because the automated system sends you in loops and hangs up on you. The initial appointment went ok, the windshield was replaced and is not leaking. The technician that came out the first time forgot to put the trim pieces on. Once I finally got ahold of someone the second tech they sent out who I was assured had a full install kit that includes all the necessary trim pieces only showed up with the glass. He left without telling us anything so I spent a third twenty minutes running loops with the phone system to get told it had to be special Ordered from Kia and they would call us once it was in. When the part finally came in the only warning I got was an email at 830 stating the tech would be there between 8a-12p. Which thankfully I was able to make it work and he put the new pieces on. He was done at 10: 20. Car is taken out at 2 and the brand new piece flies right off. Currently on hold after spending yet another 20 minutes running the infernal hellscape that is the automated phone system to see if maybe the 4th time they fix it will be the last. Update 9/23/23: Safelite has once again FAILED to provide any kind of warning or phone call. Woke up to an email saying we will see you at 8 am at our shop for you appt that we never made or confirmed. On spite of being assured the last 3 TIMES this happened that we would receive a phone call to set up the appointment. This is the absolute worst place you can go for customer service. Everyone including the managers will lie to you.

Cannot talk with a human. Called several times and recording said that since i have a smartphone to go online and then hung up. Tried scheduling online and received a message that zip code I was in was out of their area for mobile service and needed to come to them. I was 9 miles away from them and in a 40' motorhome. Needless to say, I canceled.

Had my windshield replaced after a cinderblock fell off a semi ahead of me and crushed my windshield.

Had my appointment at 8: 30, was driving away at 9: 40 with the new glass in.

Very happy, this is my second time using Safelite and both times were great!

I have only one day off a week so I scheduled this two weeks in advance. Arrange pickup and drop off and when I arrive I’m told the glass that arrived LAST NIGHT was not good enough to install, that’s fine but no call, no text, nothing. I had to drive 45 mins to be told I need to reschedule 2 more weeks out. Ridiculous as now my windshield will be broken for another two weeks, I have to arrange another pick up and drop off. Wish I was told the morning of not when I arrive wasting my time, my ride time and everyone else involved

No stars. I just hung up from trying to reach a representative for the 3rd time this week. Already filed a warrantee claim online on Monday with no response yet. The first attempt to replace my front windshield ended up in a crack in the new windshield from top to bottom. I had to drive with this for a week or two before they were able to put in the second windscreen. The second one is leaking water on the inside of the windscreen. It appears that I will have to drive to their location in person to report the leak. The inside of my car is already smelling from this water leak.

Appalling! Had an appointment scheduled while traveling. Agent got to my place and didn't have the correct glass and then told me I would have to go to a shop for replacement. Totally incompetent! Then I just called again to try again and reschedule now that I am home and received very conflicting information than I previously received from other agents. I will never use this company and will not ever recommend anyone else does. Called Mikes Autoglass and received was better service.

I called this morning since I haven't heard from them regarding my OEM windshield. Now, apparently, it was installed on my car on June 17. I can swear I never went to their shop on the 17, and I never had that OEM installed!

On my first appointment, everything was fine when I checked in. After a while, I get a call saying they can't find my glass.after some foolish explanations I get rescheduled. On my second appointment, the glass was fast installed. Unfortunately, they installed an after market windshield even though I was told by the insurance I was going to be an OEM part. The guy said he didn't have that information so I called the insurance and they rescheduled me me the specification for the OEM part. The safelite employee was really mad and told me he was very frustrated because he will have an extra windshield in his shop that he will not know what to do with it! After calling back the insurance they said they won't have a choice but to do it since it's in their system. So now I'm waiting for the new windshield to be ordered, hopefully this will be my last experience with this shop!

I filed a claim with my insurance for a cracked windshield, approximately 2 months ago. I got an appointment scheduled to replace my windshield, arrived on time, checked in and sat in the lobby for approximately 30, to get called up to the service desk, to find out they didn’t have the foam piece that goes around the windshield and it would need to be ordered. They will call when it comes in. 2 months later after 3 calls to Safelite, I can’t seem to find out why the foam piece hasn’t arrived. You don’t get to talk to a person, who is directly employed there. That person does the calling. I was promised a phone call back in 1-5 business days, with a response to where the foam is, but that didn’t happen. I am very disappointed in Safelite. Terrible service! I will be calling my insurance company to see where else I can take.it to.

Mistake #1 Safelite handles the broken windshield claims for my Insurance Company. Mistake #2 I accepted Safelite for the Windshield Replacement. Had 4 separate appointments (A months worth) cancelled day of mysteriously windshields damaged. These were appointments scheduled at 8AM. I had to miss work, sleep, waste gas and time because of their poor customer service. And after supposedly the windshield had been inspected by their supervisor and office staff after myself making every effort to avoid wasting the trip and confirming the status of the windshield. I contacted corporate customer service after evey incident and they tried to assist but to no avail. They even contacted the store Manager or Asst and sent an email to Regional Manager and no one contacted me in person. While at the shop there was never any supervisor on the floor. Exercise your options. You do have choices.

Once we got the truck there, the service was great. But very hard to reach by phone. They cancelled by text, and you can't reach a live person to reschedule. Very frustrating

We had the windshield replaced after getting hit with rocks from a dump truck on I75. East to make appt online, staff was polite, helpful and the job was completed under what was quoted.

Took my car in to get the windshield glass replaced. And now my windshield wipers are not working. Dont know what they did. Incredible!

Customer service was perfect! It only took an hour and 1/2 for a new windshield on my car. I will definitely come back (hopefully not lol) if the need arises.

Terrible. Use Glass America instead! I was going to write everything Safelite did wrong but it turned into an essay no one has time for. Bottom line, go to Glass America. Everything Safelite said they couldn't do, Glass America does as a standard practice.
Also, Glass America isn't afraid to call or text when an appointment needs to be cancelled due to parts being delayed. Best of luck!

Wow, they are quick. They say 3 hours, but these guys are great. 50 minutes, no kidding. The only way to go.
