Safelite AutoGlass reviews
20Dec. 2023.my experience with this shop at 30950 US19 was.wait for it.smooth as glass. From set-up at the office with Samuel, to visiting installer-tech, Sean R, the process was seamless and handled in a friendly, quick, professional manner with no muss/no fuss. Arrived exactly day/time they said they would. Sean was done in less than an hour. I'm very pleased with the process and result.thank you, gentlemen!
I can't thank you guys enough for simply putting something over my broken window at no cost.
Service like this is not expected. Thank you for going above and beyond.
We had a window replacement and recalibration done on our 2019 BMW 330i. I have to admit, we were a bit hesitant because of the reviews, but our BMW dealership directed us to go. Our insurance approved the OEM windshield so I made sure I reiterated every time I spoke to anyone at Safelite that we were getting the OEM windshield to avoid any "confusion. " I do agree that the phone system is an issue in that when trying to call the Palm Harbor location, we were directed to the facility in Tampa more than once. It caused a lot of confusion and delays in trying to set up an appointment. So when we were finally scheduled, Chris was VERY diligent in texting and calling to keep us up to date in the process. We were pleasantly surprised after we were told it would be 2-3 hours, but it was done in only a hour and a half. Overall, we are very satisfied with the service, communication, and professional manner of the staff. We will definitely recommend and go back if we ever need any work done in the future.
This place is a joke! The master tech David Rodriguez has an attitude! The customer service is the “best”! Stay away!
Great honest people there. Wish I could remember the fellas name, however unfortunate I didn't get it, Fella hooked me up very nicely. Wishing all company's were as such performers.
Had to hold my car an extra day because they broke the windshield they were going to install (not a big deal). But then they damaged my steering wheel during the install and didn’t tell me about it. SafeLite generally is fine just don’t go to this shop.
They put my window in my car it had Leaks and Shorted out my radio and wet my floors had some guy that really did not no what he was doing put the window in they give you the run around when it's time to Fix their mistake.
My windshield chip was what I felt intentionally cracked deeply and unrecoverable. I required it to be replaced with an OEM windshield which is what I had, they asked me to pay for the difference which is around $475. They called on the day of the appointment and told me the part was not even ordered because my insurance was not approved. I wonder why what they broke became my and my insurance company's responsibility?
This company has got to be kidding. Their customer service is the WORST I have ever encountered. It is impossible to contact the local location directly, you will always be routed to a call center that has no clue who you are or why you are calling. They scheduled my first appointment weeks ago through my insurance company and then cancelled it for some unknown reason via TEXT MESSAGE, not by phone. No explanation. Then out of the blue yesterday I get a call from "Samuel" who wants to reschedule the appointment for Saturday. I tell him I will need to get back to him the next day as I am unsure if I can make the appointment time. I get a text message confirming a 9am appt that I never agreed to. Since then I have not been able to reach anyone at the number provided, I have contacted multiple customer support numbers and have yet to find anyone with half a brain to sort this out. I have never experienced inept customer service at this level in my. My suggestion is find a local company you can call and stay away from this nationwide disaster of a company.
UPDATE: I told Safelite to eat the windshield as I was not going to reward poor service, poor communication and rude staff even if the insurance company was paying for it. Had the windshield replaced by Tom of The Auto Glass Company in Clearwater. Great service and install. Support a local company, not a nationwide company than can care less about service.
I had a great experience. My windshield and eyesight calibration were done perfectly.
The employees were very friendly.
I had seen some bad reviews but I was very happy with my repair.
I replaced windshield 2 months ago and its crack, when I called the customer service said is under warranty and when I come to store after drove 2 hours, they told me that I have to make a new claim, I will never use this company again, it’s spam
Went through USAA/Safelite. Tech called to say what time he would be here and 20 after that time, called to say he'd be late. Tools weren't adequately charged as he was rummaging around in my garage trying to find a plug. Later, without telling me (I only knew because I walked outside to see when he'd be done), he took the car for a drive, presumably to test something. As I watched him return I saw him rolling windows up. After he left, I got in my car and ashes and weed were on my console. The guy took my BMW on the road and smoked weed in my car while driving around. I called USAA and Corp Safelite and explained the situation at least 4 times. Each time they said the manager of this location would call me. I wven called the branch directly and could never get the manager on the phone, so left messages. They NEVER did call. I have to assume that management is OK with employees getting high in customers' cars and don't have the professionalism to call the customer and explain/apologize. Hey management.tell your employees to drive around in your company vehicles and get as high as they want, but not mine.
Scheduled a repair for a chip in my windshield on my 2020 Hyundia Sonata. The gentleman at the front desk, Samuel was very respectful, clear with expectations and the process for the repair and found my corporate discount which I wasn't expecting. Huge thanks and kudos to the team at this Safelite location. The repair was done quick and the whole process was finished in about 30 minutes which was faster than the quoted 45 minutes! AWESOME experience.
Kai I believe is how he spells his name.took great care replacing and handling the recalibration of safety functions on my windshield. Came early to the appointment and was knowledgeable and a professional
Big thanks to Joshua today, he put my windshield on and explained everything to me in detail, he powered through the mosquitos and was so professional and courteous.
Very clean and professional service and location. They follow up with care instructions as well. They even cleaned all the windows and vacuumed my car after the repair.
DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. I have had multiple issues with this location, they placed the incorrect glass on my vehicle and the day after my repair my sunroof stopped working on my 2020 Mercedes Benz. I knew I shouldn't have went back to this location and chose to. So do yourself a favor and look into a different company.
Great customer service, excellent handling of difficult customers. Made my experience fantastic and easy. I’ve only ever brought my cars into this shop and I will be a lifelong customer here.
The technician damaged the interior surface and bent the base cover of my vehicle. I was told the manager Chris would call me to schedule the repairs. THAT WAS OVER 3 MONTHS AGO! No call no and follow up from this location. It doesn't take months to order replacement parts for my vehicle. I've made several calls with no response from them. I'm going to file my complaints with the BBB and their corporate office. I will never recommend this location to anyone. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Good service but did not return my pa inspe tion stickers not great to drive in pa without inspection stickers.
Update;. After review Safelite said to contact their customer service. Which I did, often no answer except for answering machine.
Finally got a person and she said the Florida store would contact me. Never happened.
Had to pay for new safety and emission inspection out of pocket.
Hopefully will not have to use their guaranty considering their customer no service.
