Sage Dental of West Miami

Sage Dental on Bird in Miami (FL) refused to perform a regular cleaning because I didn't agree to a deep cleaning - an out of pocket cost of $874. I talked to the office manager, Isabel Peredes, and she confirmed refusal of service stating that they are the professionals and they do not follow the patients' requests.

This dental office feels more like a car dealer than a healthcare provider.

Very disappointed.

I had surgery at Sage West Miami, the surgeon is only in once every other Thursday. My face swelled up and I was in the absolute most horrific pain, even passing out from how much pain I was in. I called to see if I can come in to see any dentist just to get a prescription for an antibiotic for this swelling, they REFUSED to let me see a dentist because it wasn't the one that did my surgery. They actually wanted me to wait with this pain for day's until the surgeon came in. WHY they couldn't just let me see a dentist in the office is beyond me. If you have an emergency, DON'T WASTED YOUR TIME BECAUSE THEY WON'T HELP YOU! This place is gross inside, puddles of water all over the floor last time I went, at least I hope it's water. The front office has no hospitality and even answer the phones like they are annoyed before even talking to you. I'm dying right now and have a face swollen like a balloon and they won't let me see a dentist for help. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!

I was not happy with the dental teeth made for me. They already knew I had a gold tooth but the dentures was made with silver clamps making me look like a clown. I was told that's what my insurance pays for. I asked if corrections can be done and was told no.
I was told my only option was to upgrade which would cost me over a thousand dollars. After a credit check approval I was placed on a payment plan which now create a hardship for me. I'm very unhappy with the entire situation.

Not professional people. Be careful because they try to do up sales. They told me that I have a gum disease and it was only to get me to add extra treatments.

I have never been to such an unorganized dental office. The staff is replaced on a monthly basis. They owe me a refund and I have never received it.

I am very disappointed at Sage Dental. I went to Sage for a regular check up with xrays. DR. KATS sees me and tell me that I was fine no concerns. Then, I scheduled my cleaning with the hygienist and she tells me that I had some type of gum disease and that I required a deep cleaning with antibiotics and some other things to stop the bacteria ($1600 treatment plan) This gum disease surprised me because the Dr. NEVER mentioned it to me. I went for a second opinion with Dr. Richard Romay and I must say that he is a true professional. I had four cavities and no need for deep cleaning with such an inflated price. I do not have gum disease. Please if you are reading this go to a place where they value you as a patient and they are honest and professional. Imagine worrying about a disease thaf you don't have. Make the right decision before going to Sage.

X-Ray machine kept falling apart and the pieces would fall out. The hygenist kept asking me why I came to this location instead of my usual in Doral and was a bit rude, she had to ask the front desk a few times about this before starting my cleaning. I didn’t realize making an appointment at another location for the convenience of a sooner appointment was such a huge deal. She kept going on a on about how I couldn’t do that. I was so tired I decided not to argue back. Got my cleaning and tried to get out as soon as possible. Then at the front desk the ladies seemed confused if my insurance covered the appointment, which they verified before? Whoever was talking to me was either rude or didn’t know what they were doing.

If you want to be treated with human decency please do not come here. The dr and the office staff are miserable, rude and disrespectful. Waited two hours for my apt with my son to see the Dr.he literally fell asleep on my lap and she straight up told me to reschedule after waiting two hours for my apt because they over booked. I had a dental emergency shooting pain with fever and was in pain I am a previous patient from back in 2019. I’m so disappointed they really have gone downhill.

The worst customer service, if they are going to have a person who attends to customers at the reception they should put a person who is more polite, patient and who explains things to you, the person who is there does you the favor of answering things and the phone hangs up on you, really a person without any kind of respect, if you don't like serving customers politely you should change jobs, in terms of service they saw me as 5 different dentists and they gave me a thousand diagnoses wanting to charge me very high amounts In the end I saw a second opinion and I had nothing of what they told me at sage dental. Be very careful with this place they only care about charging people no matter what they do to you.

My experience at Stage Dental with Dr. Katz and her assistants was an awesome one. At first I was a scared patient needing much dental work and Dr. Katz made me feel comfortable and safe throughout my entire process.

My fiancé had a severe issue with his jaw and was told by this place to see the oral surgeon they have that comes by every other week. His appointment was today and they told him today that they ended up moving his appointment back 2 weeks later in April without consulting him beforehand. His case requires attention asap and they pushed his appointment back without asking without prior notification. He tried calling to find out why they moved the appointment but received no answer other than a rushed “this is the earliest we can do. ” Can’t trust a place that just moves appointments around like that and treat their patients like trash.

The BEST dental office! From the punctuality to the team who welcomes and treats they are the best! Dr. Katz is the most professional, knowledgeable and patience Doctor! She is AMAZING! Love this office!

This office and staff were very professional something that your Doral office lacked and never responded to my my calls and inquiries to reshudule my appointment for surgery since November causing me great pain and discomfort for several months.

I am so happy with my services and the attention. The hygienist Noelvis is literally the best i have ever had i needed a deep cleaning and she sat there with me and explained everything so well i feel like an expert. The manager Aylin like always so welcoming and making you feel like a rockstar i see her do it with every patient.
