Visited this location twice and both times ended up having to pay an excess amount of money that wasn't disclosed in the beginning. Second visit I was even charged for unnecessary treatments. The staff at the front didn't seem to understand a difference from a regular cleaning and something more intensive. Please do yourself a huge favor and go to any other dental location to save yourself a headache.

Save yourself the time and don’t go here! Should’ve read these reviews beforehand. My appointment was at 9 AM for just a routine exam and cleaning. I have never had any issues with my teeth. No cavities, no braces, only the removal of two wisdom teeth. The first issue was that I was not seen until an hour past my appointment time. And then the dentist did not see me until an hour and a half past that original appt time. They told me I was showing signs of bone loss (I’m 27) and had nine cavities (in their words, they weren’t actual cavities yet but wanted me to have “preventative” fillings). They refused to do any cleaning at this appointment (the whole reason I scheduled this appointment in the first place!) I would have to show up at another appointment for a “deep cleaning” with an extra charge. I then requested my x-rays since that was the only productive part of this almost three hour journey! Took another half an hour to receive those. Total disrespect for their patients’ time here. Definitely just felt like they were trying to take advantage of a young woman who is new to the area. Will not be returning or recommending to literally anyone. Don’t waste your time!

Came in the do a cleaning, which is fully covered by my insurance. They added on $700 worth of fees for “other drugs” to include mouthwash, charging me nearly $300 after coverage. They refused to do the cleaning that’s covered. Needless to say, I got up and left, as I see many have done from these reviews. Ask for the printout and see what they are charging you. I would not recommend anyone visit Sage Dental as their business aims to go deep into their client’s pockets.

About a year ago, a small piece of a tooth that had a filling broke. The roots were healthy, but they went straight and suggested a root canal. About a year later, I woke up with a strong pain on the same tooth. I did not trust Sage Dental anymore, so I went to another office. The pain was due to a bad root canal. The endodontic at Sage dental drilled too far down the tooth that left the area under the crown too thin, so it broke while a chewed, and that was causing the pain. I paid a large amount of money for the root canal and crown, and instead of correcting the problem, they damaged my tooth.

I Visted Saga dental the young lady Sadie took x-rays of my mouth. She was very nice and polite. Aftershock the doctor cane in. Reubens and examined me of course you know they go by numbers. He only stayed a few minutes then told me someone would be in to give me an estimate. LUis came in with his computer advising me what allI need to have done. My portion came to 12,000.00 dollars. He immediately wanted me to apply for a loan to get the work done. There
were two options for a loan. On August 1st I call Sage Dental to inquire about the cleaning and e ex
raction cost it was 1500.00dental l plan. I advised like me look over the quote. He also, told me the other payment plan had to be submitted by Sage dental. I then called my insurance company and explained to customer service about the high dental cost. She called Sage dental and spoke with the office She was told my insurance did not cover those codes. Luis never once said your quote is high because your dental insurance does not cover these codes. I was advised by my insurance that Aflac was a supplement. She asked why he didn't submit the quote to Aflac which he should have from the beginning. Please before you let them talk you into getting a loan for the work to be done in your amount make sure you look at the column where it says insurance pays before you decide to let Sage dental work on you. Read your quote very careful get a copy call your insurance with the info. Getting a loan for the work is what Sage Dental push. DO YOUR HOMEWORK IF YOUR INSURANCE IS CARE PLUS AFLAC IS THE SUPPLEMENT AFLAC DOSEN'T PAY FOR EVERYTHING. CALLMAKE SURE THEY GET APPROVAL BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE.

Had a root canal done following a referral from a different Dental Group. Was treated well and courteously.
Was disappointed that a crown was not offered with the root canal

The office was very friendly. I went in needing multiple things done. They made me a treatment plan and we got started. Dr. Maria A. Giron Cerrato was amazing. I highly recommend her. She did 2 root canals and was so gentle. Dr Sherin was exceptionally nice and helpful too.

The first issue was changing my appointment time without consulting with me and then threatening to charge me if I didn't show up to the appointment time that I didn't originally book in the first place. Before my appointment I called the office to confirm my insurance would provide me the services I needed at no cost (new patient appointment with xrays/cleaning) and I was reassured that was correct. Upon entering, the front desk ladies were extremely rude and uninviting, and the one who I had to greet first to be spoken to let me know all information I was given less then an hour prior on the phone was incorrect and that she the worker informed me of a copay which was extremely untrue and insisted I pay a copayment that my insurance later told me should've never existed, so I was blatantly lied to. I then wait an entire hour to be seen (at the appointment time they were going to charge me for missing) and when i'm finally pulled to the back my xrays are taken by another worker who apparently doesnt know how to communicate either and my xrays are done with 0 instruction. I was then moved to a chair where I then sat for another HOUR just for the dentist to bring me an ipad showing me prices for procedures that I never asked for and a $390 cleaning (the same cleaning that they told me would be no cost during my first appointment) and then was advised that even if I was crazy enough to pay such a ridiculous amount for a cleaning that I wouldn't be able to get it during my appointment that same day and that I would have to schedule it for a later date. After I declined, I was given the cold shoulder and LITERALLY was pointed out the door. So in the end I paid a copay for xrays of my teeth that I never saw and walked out with no cleaning or anything my appointment was promised for. This place is a huge scam, and everyone that works here has an extremely pitiful personality, and could really care less about literally anything but a cash grab. Insurance benefits do not matter here and neither do their patients, will never return.

Worst experience ever, go somewhere else. Total scam, will rip you off. Overpriced and say they take your insurance but then use codes your insurance won't pay for. Do not go.

Sage dental: I did contact your departments, played phone tag and they stopped returning my calls. Doesn't surprise me.

This is the most dishonest place I’ve ever been to you’ve ever been to especially when it comes to listening to the patients need’s please do yourself a favor research this establishment is not what it supposed to be very disappointed with the entire system they charge you for procedures that they already have payments from the insurance company that means we got double charges for the medical care I feel that they are very dishonest and they tack charges on for their own gain shame on you Sage Dental you are very dishonest company shame on you you don’t deserve a ️you lie to the patient take their money

They need to be more professional. I had a appointment and they canceled my appointment without letting me know. Even after I confirmed to text, on the website and over the phone. It's not my fault if they don't communicate internally. I had to drive 45 minutes to get there. They need to be more careful with the cancelation and only cancel appointment after confirm with the patient that is not coming. Find other place to go if you can.

I honestly have mixed feelings about this place. The dentists know what they are doing and i had a good experience with them. But in the other hand, the administration gives me the impression that needs more training or more personnel or something to help them get where they need to be because they always seem all over the place.
First time i came it was just going to be for a cleaning and i got out with 10 different things that apparently i needed. I said i couldnt pay that in the moment so i was going to come another day and they automatically lower drastically the price so i could do it that same day, so that seemed sketchy.

Another day they tried to charge me $892 AGAIN, after them already charging me that amount for some crowns procedure last time i was there. If resulted that they never posted the payment in the system, and forgot they charged me that. Imagine if old people come here and this happens to them? This will be taking advantage of them for lack of professionalism and irresponsibility.

Also, lets not forget that before they did the root canal procedure i was told i didnt had to pay anything because my insurance covers it all. To then find out a few weeks later them billing me for that procedure through mail.

This place was convenient because its near my apartment, but after im done with my crown procedure i will not come back. It doesn’t brings me trust and comfort at all.

I never write reviews. This place was horrible. Do not waste your time/money here. I have dental insurance through Cigna. I have never had any cavities/issues with my teeth. I stay on top of my cleanings. I was seen by the dentist before the hygienist. Dentist was professional and kind. She stated I had no cavities and that the hygienist would clean my teeth. Hygienist looks in my mouth to determine what type of cleaning I’d need. Shows me the bill (after I already paid $50 up front). It will be $350 to clean my teeth. I said, I will not be paying that. Just a simple cleaning that is covered by my insurance.they refused to do that. I got up and left. Horrible service and very unprofessional on the part of the hygienist and front office staff. Wish I saw these other negative reviews before going.

I made an appt with Sage Dental after another dentist from Coast Dental stopped my 3 teeth extractions mid procedure, and then refusing to finish the job because it caused a severe anxiety attack. Denise at the front desk made sure she got me in at Sage the very next day and it was so appreciated considering the extreme amount of pain the other incompetent. Sally was my hygienist and she made a point to make sure my experience with Sage was the complete opposite I had experienced the day before. She sat with me and helped walk me through everything so my anxiety would stay at bay. Dr Ruben Daboin and Sally both had such a wonderful bedside manner, it really helped put my anxiety at ease, especially given the circumstances. Highly recommend, great staff.
