Saiko-i Sushi Lounge & Hibachi, Boca Raton FL

The chief for our dinner was amazing he gave me a whole new experience, Pham was an amazing chief, he cooked an amazing steak for us.for sure getting him as my chief for next time.

I've been to Saiko-i several times and I have never had as good of an experience as I did with Pham. The tricks he does are more interesting and unlike any of the other chefs and overall has great energy.

I recently attended this restaurant and had the pleasure of having Pham as my Hibachi chef. Aside from the absolutely delicious food he prepared, he also performed incredible tricks and kept us entertained and laughing the whole way through. I am 100% returning to this restaurant and it's all thanks to Pham! Five Stars!

Something has happened to the quality of the sushi here…had it tonight, nearly threw out all of it. Utterly disgusting. Smelled and tasted horrible. Fell apart. So bad…never again.

Excellent hibachi and some really fresh sushi. Our chef was funny and put on a great show. It can be busy with some slow service but I would say it's worth the wait.

The food was excellent and the chef does a great job. I enjoy the experience and really recommend it.

Fun place to eat. You can either sit with other people at the grill as I call it. Or you can sit privately at tables or a more secluded booth.

Wow! First time here. Food was spectacular and the service was excellent. Stefan our server was on top of everything. He was helpful, attentive, friendly and professional. We had sushi, lobster pad thai, dumplings and hibachi selections (we sat privately in a booth, not at the hibachi table, but you can still order from the hibachi selection) Everything was fresh and soooo delicious. First time today but DEFINITELY will return. The bar is awesome as well, we can't wait to try the happy hour!

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Just because did not feel good, I ordered a delivery, and guess what, I was very upset and disappointed. Food has come in a funky taste and very bad food quality. After two bites I have dumped it in a garbage, absolutely not eatable, eel doesn’t has a flash just a skin, rice not taste simply boiled not seasoning whatsoever, eel sauce so tasteless etc. So $75 that I’ve spent made me very unhappy. It have not been like that, the “chef” who did my order, shame on you. For now I have to think hundred times if I want to come there with friends of mine

Went there for lunch on Saturday, will be first and last time. The overpriced
food was barely average and the service seriously sucked.

Update- Came on a Saturday and brought family with us. We are a party of 6 and we’re seated promptly for the 6pm reservation. Started smoothly, server took our orders for the appetizers and drinks. It came right away then he took our main entrees. Our request were not met but we didn’t care anymore to correct it as we saw that our sever was already overwhelmed when more customers arrived and tables were filled up. This restaurant need to hire more employees but I know hiring is one of the problems of the industry now a days so we really cannot blame the server. We saw that he was running around like a chicken without a head trying to accommodate customers. Anyway, our main complaint is when I cannot find him to pay. Turns out that he also attends to the customer seated outdoors. OMG. Someone should at least be able to help the server for this. I went to see the reception area to get help. Anyway, never we will come back here on a weekend and that’s for sure. Learned our lesson the hard way.

Initial review-We always come here whenever we were in the area to have Japanese. Never tried their tonkatsu ramen as am worried it's going to be a let down. Oh boy, it wasn't and find it excellent like the ones we had in Manhattan. We always enjoy Saiko'sl age tofu (I should make a note to ask for more sauce), crispy bakchoy and spicy tuna roll from their happy hour menu. Family always order sake and I tried their mango margarita which i find excellent.

For their entrees: Sashimi platter- very good ; Yakisoba - good

Excellent service as always and we will try their hibachi next visit.

The food and overall ambiance provide a calm, and comforting atmosphere on a busy day.
Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Very poor customer service!

Placed a online order for pick up, when I showed up they told me it would be ready in 5 minutes. I wait about 10 minutes then go ask for an update they proceed to tell me it will take 5 more minutes. Another 10 minutes goes by and my order still isn’t ready. I ask can you please double check this is very unusual. They now tell me they never received my order. I show them the proof and also show proof of payment and they apologize blaming it on the system. So I ask can you make my order now? They tell me we cannot unless you pay. I show them a screen shot of payment pending in my account however they don’t want to place the new order unless I pay for it again claiming that my original payment will not go through. I end up paying on a different card and getting my meal about 20 minutes later. 2 days go by and now both payments left my account which is what I told them would happen. I try calling but they tell me it needs to be done at the restaurant if I want my refund. I go there today and the manager finally gives me my refund. Before giving me my refund he offered me a 5 dollar bonus if I do a store gift card instead of refund which is wild to me for the inconveniences I had to go through.

My question is why couldn’t they figure out that my order didn’t go though until I waited about 20 plus minutes? Also if a customer shows proof of payment you cannot charge them twice and make them deal with the issue if both go through. My meal was for $38 I’m sure that is worth more than this bad review.

Best for last I asked for sauce and they handed me 4. I start walking out the lady manager questions why I was given 4 sauces like I was stealing sauce.

Needless to say I will not be back here. Used to order from this place way too much anyways I will spend my hard earned money at a better organization.

We participated in a family celebration at Saiko-i and were very much pleased with everything the business offered. The food was delicious, the presentation was entertaining and the service was professional and accommodating. Our party was large (20) and they had double back-to back hibachi tables to accommodate us in our own corner of the building. Family members ranged from 5 years old to seniors and all ages enjoyed the experience. The dietary needs of some of us were met by the chefs upon request. I had been to this location before this business occupied the space. It was once a lively sports bar with pool tables. As much as I enjoyed shooting pool here, I love the transformation to the hibachi and sushi restaurant concept. I can't comment on the sushi, but I highly recommend the hibachi meals. We plan to return again in smaller groups and try more of the menu. It seems like the type of place where everything is top notch.

Love the food and great atmosphere. Every dish we had was delicious and they have one of the best happy hour menus

Had the New York steak at the Hibachi Table with a few other friends, it was horrible! It was exactly like chewing on leather, I never had there Sushi but I'll never have that again, really probably never going back either! Definitely wouldn't recommend it.
