Sailport Waterfront Suites, Tampa FL

This place is old, run down and poorly managed. Our room smelled very musty and the sheets were old and scratchy. Very cheap quality. Another review said they would not recommend this hotel to anyone-ever and the website photos look really nice but the are not truly representative of its current condition. I totally agree. It is run down. I give the pool bar staff 5 stars. They were the only bright spot. We stayed one night and left. They or someone lists this on VRBO as 3 2BR suites. Totally a joke. Don’t recommend.

I had a mix up with my flight, it came in a day later than expected. I was initially unable to reach the front desk, and my reservation was cancelled when I didn’t show up that night. I called the front desk/reservation clerk and they were able to get me rescheduled that day for no extra charge. I fully except that I should have called earlier than the day before to confirm my flight change. All of the staff that I spoke to over the phone were kind and considerate. The front desk staff was helpful in giving suggestions for nearby food and bar locations. Overall, the staff was a pleasure to work with.

The rooms are huge and clean. The suite style room is great. It has a nice sized bathroom and kitchen for the booking price. It’s in a good location for food/shopping/nightlife. Really, I have nothing to complain about when it comes to Sailport Waterfront Suites.

10/10 would definitely come back here the next time I’m in the Tampa area!

All rooms face Tampa bay view which is a plus, but this is not a beach front just a water bay front place, large full kitchen and dinner, a roomy balcony, small bathroom and bedroom faces hallway

The room was dirty! There were roaches and the room "condo" I stayed in is in need of major updates and a serious cleaning. On the bright side, the staff was nice. However, I nearly missed my flight after I was supposed to meet the shuttle driver for a return trip to the airport, was told that he'd be there in a few mins only to later find out that he'd already left me behind! I ended up calling an Uber who got me there in the nick of time. Overall this place is motel 6 near the water. Highly suggest finding another option!

Ok nice area, nice grounds. Condo was clean for the most part, windows needed cleaning couch was old. Water pressure was almost a trickle in all faucets and showers. Nice pool bar and eats. Basic

I Met my 23 years young Grandaughter for the first time and we had a wonderful weekend at Sailport Resort.though it pretty much rained the entire weekend we still were able to get acquainted. Both suites were very clean and the staff was excellent

We immediately turned around, gave our keys back to the front desk and rented a different hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone-ever. Then as icing on the cake, they refused to give us our money back!

Do not stay here. We booked a room for a girls weekend and unfortunately when we got into our room it smelled like smoke so bad that it was unbreathable. So, they offered us another room. When we walked into the 2nd room it smelled like weed and again was over powering. Luckily they allowed us to cancel our reservation, but then we had to find a new place to stay on super short notice. Would not recommend.

Went to Sailport since it was close to my daughters wedding venue. My entire family stayed about 60 people. It was wonderful. The bar restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. The front desk was as well. I would highly recommend it!

The photos online are old, and completely inaccurate. The rooms are filthy and cockroaches scatter when you flick on the lights. There is no beach access, just a tiny man made beach. The furniture is absolutely un-usable. The dishes were dirty (never eat on dishes roaches have walked on) the shower was falling apart and peeling. The place smells terrible. The carpets is stained and sticky. Be warned they will say the roaches are palmetto bugs. Google it.that's just a fancy term for cockroach. We couldnt sleep, and couldnt find a new hotel, and had the absolute WORST hotel stay of our lives.

My family has enjoyed staying @ Sailport over the years. Always relaxing watching the sunset on the bay.

The suite we had was filthy, I mean down right dirty. Hair all over bathroom door, dirty dishes, I went to use dishwasher and it was full of mold with soap stuck in it hard as a rock. Tub was chipping, I went, got cleaning supplies and cleaned. Towles folded up had makeup on them, glad I did bring beach towles. View is pretty but you can not swim in water, its blocked off by sea wall. Came back and found a list of supplies for the room. Literally half of what was supposed to be there was missing. Other than the pool, there is nothing to do unless you want to work out in Florida heat. The "gym" is outside. Or you could drive out if the busniess district for entertainment. Not much is close by. I did take pictures to communicate to management but we just ended up leaving after a few days of no housekeeping service. I had to call for clean towles, toilet paper and so on. Will not be back.

It was a place to stay. Room deco is old and there was a funky smell to the room. The view was gorgeous but the other guests were loud and you could hear fighting during the night.

I've been here a couple of times. The only snafoo's this time were there wasn't a weekend buffet at the pool side bar that was published in the elevator. I had invited some local friends of mine to join us strictly for that. I was embarrassed to tell them that it wasn't happening, also the "courtesy shuttle" wasn't available to pick us up after dropping us off. We ended up stranded at Whiskey Joe's and had to call an Uber. That wasn't cool.

This was my 1st time here and it definitely won't be my last. The suite was spacious and very clean.

Great prices for one bedroom suites. Property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. They have a Tiki Bar by the pool that's open till 10pm every day. The food there is cheap and great quality and the staff there were exceptional. This is right on the bay and even has a beach area (not for swimming) that has a fire pit that is cozy and warm in the evening. I highly recommend this place!

We absolutely love this place so much it's been our 5th time this year going to the Sail Port. Great service, awesome people. It's a MUST to go.

Room smelled like mildew restaurant charged card different amount then I spent there tried to rip me off for 20 more
