Saint Francis Pet Care Centers Tarpon Springs reviews
14Best Vet yet! Very caring and trustworthy.treat their clients and patients like gold. I love our veterinarians and kind and helpful staff.y aged furry buddy is in the most capable hands despite his many problems! I trust these caring medical professionals completely
This is a great veterinarian facility!
Very caring and compassionate Drs.
Our dog Joey was very sick and Dr Adriana and Dr. Branton worked and worked and worked until they found the right cure.
I highly recommend.
Paris and Chelsea thank you for taking good care of Sage this past week! We appreciate you both and Amanda and the rest of the staff too!
I have been taking my old kitties here for about a year. Every staff member that I’ve interacted with has been so nice. They have a cat specific room which is so great. My cats are 16 years old and both have kidney disease and arthritis. They had decent sized medical record files from their previous vets, that Dr Simpson looked at before seeing my kitties. Dr Simpson made sure that all of my questions were answered and listened to my concerns. She even suggested a treatment for my arthritic cats and they are moving around more than ever.
Like I said, all of the staff here is great but I also want to mention one of the vet techs, Becca. She is amazing with my grumpy old chubby queen. I love when she is the one who gets my kitties- she’s friendly, great with my cats and loves them too. It’s so wonderful to hand of my cats to someone who I like and trust.
I see the staff here monthly due to my cats’ medical issues and I have never had a bad experience in my more than a dozen visits in the past year. My cats are doing great and I’m grateful to have a clinic I can trust with my babies.
Love Saint Francis. As soon as we pull up my puppy is happy to arrive. They also take all precautions to keep the animals safe and healthy
Great health care for my dog Charlie. You and your pet are greeted like family and treated by true professionals.
Staff is rude, supervisor should not have job as she does not have people skills. YOUR JUST ANOTHER PAY PAYCHECK FOR THEM.after ringing up $600 bill that I told Dr I didn't want tests done. I promptly paid.but as staff lost dog bowls st Francis refused to pay AND said they'll let me go.lol.sorry st Francis u were already LET GO
I drive 50 minutes to go here after some horrible vet experiences in Clearwater. Worth the drive. Kind and professional.
This place was fantastic and after Dr Brandt left it has significantly declined. The receptionist used to be angels and very understanding now Sara in the front desk is rude and extremely abrasive. There is always a long wait and no excuses for it. I will be changing veterinarians sad to say since this is so close to me.
Wonderful staff, very clean facility and knowledgeable veterinarians. There was no wait time during both visits. They really care about your animals.
If anyone would like to know if their 9 month old, injured puppy needs to be trained more efficiently, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. A. I brought my 9 month old German shepherd in to be seen by Dr A & her tech due to him limping & not eating. It was determined that he had a torn CCL but the highlight of the visit was that he wouldn’t sit or listen on command, even though he was in pain. I was scolded throughout the visit on how this dog needs to be trained to listen to me, & that Dr. A had grown up with shepherds her whole life & she knows that they should listen whether they’re in pain or not. Then went on to explain how I shouldn’t be using force or strike to train him. Seems a bit redundant & cruel to say he should be sitting on his injured leg regardless of if he’s in pain or not. I was given a bag of medicine & was told to follow the directions. No at home care plan was given other than medications. When the visit was over, the vet tech grabbed a treat, looked at me & said, “I don’t want to degrade your training skills, but. ” proceeded to tell my puppy to sit, & when he didn’t listen on the first command, he scoffed & put the treat back.
I will be returning to this clinic, as the front desk staff, boarding & grooming & other providers in the office are amazing & compassionate but I do NOT recommend seeing Dr. A unless you wanna be told how horrible you’re doing as a dog mom
Absolutely recommend Saint Francis! Our dog has anxiety and has never been boarded but this place was highly recommended to us. I was so hesitant to drop off my baby but it was great! They sent us pictures and texts of how he was doing. He really seemed to love his time there and that says a lot because our dog is not always easy to please. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Will be returning if we ever need to board him again!
Our dog had a procedure to remove a small mass on her eyelid. As all procedures having to sedate your pet/baby is very difficult and it was for our beloved dog. The mass didn't fall off, we were never told this might not work and have to be repeated. It's been 5 weeks so I called because it's still on her eye and were told its an additional charge $45 just to look at it and then charge full price to repeat the procedure. We just wanted the doc to take 1 minute to check her work but that will cost $45. Really feel like we put our precious girl through pain and suffering for nothing. Every procedure should have written warnings, instructions and after care timeliness before another fee is added for the same procedure, or be clear about it. We feel the need to post our experience on our 55 and older community Facebook page. Too bad this happened, the office is so close and being new to the area we must find a vet we trust and one that is fair. Then spread the word. Hopefully a completely clear way of communicating the risks of procedures will be put in place for future pet owners. We are so sad after our experience.
