Saint Lucie County Fairgrounds, Fort Pierce FL

Had an absolute blast at the Busch Rodeo this past month! This was mine, my husband, and my kids' first ever rodeo. We even had our nieces, brother and sister in law come from across the state to join us in the fun! It was absolutely amazing. There was plenty of entertainment and food/ beverage stands both before and after the events. We loved seeing all of the rodeo events live as opposed to watching on TV as we usually do. All of the vendors working the event as well as the staff were all so friendly and helpful. There was ample security as well which is always comforting. Great all around experience!

The Busch Family Foundation Rodeo was held here. It was a fun family evening with all proceeds going to local charities.

We took the kiddos and had a great time. Missed some of the original rides but still had fun. Only thing that was very disappointing for me was the Gyro guy wasn't there this year.

There are some good rides but I personally think you don't get massive value for money for what's available there.

Excellent production, very well organized! From parking to leaving, very smooth operation.

Also, I had a great time, and so did everyone I was with!

I loved the food and rides but they really didn't inforce covid 19 and the mask much as they should there wasnt enough sanitize areas and plenty of people had their mask down or didn't have one and no one was six feet but the over all it was good

If I could give this negative Stars I would. All the years that we have been to the Saint Lucie County Fair, never a problem never an issue. My vehicle was burglarized and both my daughters bag and mine were stolen along with my other daughter's friend's backpack which contains her laptop for school. And yes the truck was locked up, we wanted to carry a backpack only. We should have been able to come back and our bags still be there safe and sound, as they have in years past. It's a very sad time in the world right now for these thieves to think they can just take what does not belong to them. It's disgusting the way that Saint Lucie County has become, stealing without giving a thought to what a person has to go through to replace everything in that bag. Maybe they did think it through but didn't care as they threw my phone on 95 entrance South up on Orange Avenue, along with other things strewn across the side of the road and almost into the canal. We arrived at the fair about 7 10 + by 8: 11 the Life360 app found my phone up in Fort Pierce as I stated. Where is the security? The parking lots are so dark, they were people actively seeking to break into vehicles and steal tonight, and we were the victims and all we were trying to do was go and have a good time. There is no security, parking lots are dark and I cannot believe and I repeat this I cannot believe that nobody saw anyting. Very hard lesson learned indeed. I won't be going back to the fair, until they get better lighting and do stuff security big time. On another note, if anybody saw anything, please come forward and report it.

The grounds are kept very clean! I must say this is the best it has been (2021). Always safe and a great time.

County Fairin' we did go and it was great. Moved from Tampa in 2020 and the SLC Fair exceeded the Hillsborough one by far. Friendly, fun (except for one on the midway which is expected) and quite large. Fun was had by all but get the $5 corn dogs. They have cornmeal coating rather than dough. Cya next year.

I had a blast. So many fun things to do. I really enjoyed getting the painting done with my friend Denese.

Great rides, Safe fun environment. Although they closed an 1 hour early, So the vendors as you are walking out began to close even earlier. The ice cream shop directly across from the kids carousel told me she was only serving ice cream no milkshakes because she's been working all day so a little bit further down closer to the exit came across another ice cream spot and I asked if he was closing early or still was serving milkshakes he said yes what flavor he wanted to do his job she was rude and not fair friendly. The staff just made it unenjoyable. If you don't like your job get another one.

Large, well organized, and good facilities! Clean and well-kept.

Just a little far out of the city, otherwise it would be 5 stars!

Took the wife, teen grandchild and her friend on Saturday 02/29/20. They loved the animals, especially the petting zoo. We were disappointed that there were multiple rides not operating (I counted 6) and some of the rides that were working were only being loaded to partial capacity. Both of those issues of course created much longer lines. Maybe I'm getting old but it seems to me the food has also gotten markedly worse the past few years. Don't get me wrong.fair food isn't supposed to be good for you.that's what makes it fair food. It's supposed to be wickedly bad for you.that's the fun in it. I don't think it's supposed to be stale and taste of far overused frying oil. My advise to make the fair more fun would be to have multiple entrances into the fair grounds to move traffic faster, add more rides (and have them operable at full capacity) to lessen lines and offer more variety, and for goodness sake change the oil in the fryers more often or buy better quality oil. All in all, the animals brought the most enjoyment.

Great time to be had with family and friends. Something for everyone. I went on a Monday and entry fee was free.

Very entertaining, lots to see and enjoyed being around people. To bad the weather was so cold.

It was fun. Very expensive with our family of 8. The petting zoo was fun. Most rides were open. Perhaps all but 2.

Food was great and so much different stuff you can buy for the kids. The rides was so much fun you would really have a great time

My kids had a blast & that's all that really matters
. And that what puts a smile on my face.
