Salem's Fresh Eats - Auburndale

I don’t mind paying for extra sauce but I expect to get it 3 times now I’m charged and didn’t get my extra sauces.

Id Love to give No stars at all. The cooks are horrible nasty food along with bad presentation. If your food is going to be disgusting at least make it look appealing! If You want your moneys worth try the Lakeland or Winter Haven location. Your welcome.

Okay this is more than one time on Salem's right off of Havendale Urbandale Boulevard all the time that we ordered are orders it was something all the time missing we go buy all the tell you it's next time we will be Amber Simoni whatever it won't be no next time the time is when you order your food that's what you want to eat but I ain't what you want to eat so guess what they can't get no more no more business out of you they are sucks pretty much yes I did say

Food is good, just the drive through employee who took our order acted rude when we corrected the order we initially made and gave us the wrong food items.

Excellent fried fish, shrimp, and scallops. I like the fried tilapia and shrimp plate. Also, the fried scallops are really good.

The food in my opinion is over priced tavern food. I got gizzards and fried mushrooms from the via Uber eats and was quite disappointed. The whole process cost me $25 and the food itself wasn’t worth $6. I would say they’re production chefs to be polite, but in my own opinion, nothing was cooked through. The breading on the gizzards and the mushrooms was soggy. The lacked flavor and had a terrible texture. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Great experience! Food was great, Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich was a huge surprise.
And the Gizzards, what can I say but fantastic.

Fresh fish, meat, chicken gyros and local flavors. Great desserts and salad choices for vegetarians and neat eaters alike. Broiled, baked and fried options. Coke Freestyle was not full of flavors.

Made to wait 35 mins in the drive through for a sandwich. As people behind me are leaving with their food. One freaking sandwich.

Gizzards we're absolutely horrible. Tasted like they used oil from fish and shrimp. Extremely tough.

Took 20minutes to get our food in the drive thru. I tried the Philly, it wasn't even that good. I might try it again later but not use the drive thru and definitely try something different, they don't seem to have a handle on it.

Foods too greasy and takes an hr just to get. They messed up my order every time ive been to the Auburndale location

I have no clue where some of these reviews are coming from. I normally avoid this store like the plague because service here is so hit-or-miss. The food (taste) and service here isn't consistent with the Lakeland and Winter Haven locations.

Salem needs to look into what the disconnect is with this store.

Better than fast food. Staff is always super nice at the Auburndale location. Food is way better than a fast food restaurant. Good value so five stars but not a five star restaurant.

The quality of the food was poor today, as compared with previous visits. The Philly chicken sandwichs that my dining companion and I ordered had no seasoning. I asked for extra hot peppers. There were no hot peppers of any kind. One of the staff brought packets of hot sauce. My observation, mainly what I was hearing from the food prep area, which suggested that their attention was on something other than the food. I will try them again sometime, just not soon.

Our first visit to a Salem's shop possibly our last. The service was terrible, their we're three young gentleman standing at the order taking up the whole counter, not ordering but talking to the female taking orders, after about 4 to 5 min.she finally saw use and took our order, I was expecting a hamburger on a gyro, pictured, my mistake? , my wife ordered mild, we're a little spicy for us our mistake. But having look at ass's of these young gentleman standing at the counter not letting people step up to put there orders in, one of them putting his hands down the front of his shorts, at one point one of the young gentleman was wearing the head set for drive thru and talking to the kitchen, he also thru something at her in the kitchen and hit her in the face, they laughed about it, everyone seemed to know each other. I got the impression that the three young gentleman were sweet on the person taking orders. It was so bad waiting to get waited on that there was a young lady standing in line to order that looked like she was in a hurry (fast food restaurant) I went and told her if she wanted to order to step up to the counter because the three guys were just standing there not ordering, she thanked me and stepped up, finally got her order s salad with no peppers or onions, guess what her salad was loaded with? , The manager? Came out when the young lady was half wat thru her meal and tried to make it right but the girl said it was ok, I don't think she will be back as it was also her first time she had visited a Salem's.
My wife went up to fill her drink and thought she heard that they were the Uber drivers.

Love the food and service at Salem’s Gyros in Auburndale. I stopped visiting the Winter Haven location and have to drive to the Auburndale location whenever I want high quality and service. Too many problems with incorrect orders in Winter Haven and their staff doesn’t seem as eager to help correct the mistakes as the Auburndale location. The food is prepared better also. Very rarely do I feel as if my food has been over-cooked in Auburndale.

Very poor service. Employee Jennifer at Auburndale store, was very rude to my autistic child, because his sister had to use her phone for her gyro and his because he does not have a phone at 15. I am very ashamed of the employees behavior, and will never be coming back. Also leaving a review on twitter and Instagram to over 1 million followers.
