Rana Bowling Morris in Loft 7 is the best. She keeps my hair blonde and amazing.and that’s no easy task! I have naturally very curly and frizzy hair. But I get so many compliments on the color and style and I definitely owe it all to her.

Love this place! Great location, I can always find parking and Brandi Tomlinson is an absolute genius when it comes to hair! Highly recommend!

Leah Taylor in Loft 8 is a person I would highly recommend to anyone for a color, cut, or style.

I usually have quite a bit of anxiety about going to salons, so much so that for a very long time I “did my own hair”. After years of DIY, my hair was in really poor shape and in desperate need of professional attention. I found Leah after I moved to Saint Petersburg and she made me feel comfortable from the very first time I sat in her chair. She didn’t judge me, but she was honest with me, and offered me solutions that have really worked. I’ve actually gotten compliments on my hair for the first time in a long time. (It actually has some shine to it now, ya’ll!) Olaplex has been a lifesaver, and you can tell she really knows how to work with her products. She has masterfully cut my normally wild, wavy/curly hair twice now and I couldn’t be happier. Leah is a knowledgeable, welcoming, and talented stylist who really cares. Also, her loft space is so relaxing!

Steve was the absolute best. Super attentive to what I wanted to accomplish with my hair style and throughout the whole process. Will be back to see Steve again!

Leah Taylor loft 8 is amazing. I am one who NEVER took the effort for haircuts and color. After meeting Leah, witnessing her in action and seeing my final transformation, I can't wait to go back. I will be coming back and referring Leah like crazy. The best part to me is her undivided attention. My hair appointment is all about me. No interruptions, no phone ringing, no shampoo and wait for stylist, just Leah and her customer. If you are unsure of style/color, Leah will take the time to help you find your you. I would highly recommend her!

Catherine Hubbard was more than excellent in my experience with her at her hair salon. She only uses all natural and organic ingredients, is knowledgeable about her practice and very intentional with her work. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and I left happy and feeling beautiful! I 100% recommend her - she is kind and patient and will take care of you

I followed Tina (Studio #4) from Harmony Eco because she's amazing and I love the organic products she uses. With a pixie precision is key and she's the QUEEN! I get SO many compliments on my cut/color. I was terrified to go to the "sway" cut and it took about 7 months of small trims to get me to exactly where I wanted to be. Thanks to Tina's patience and her mad skills, my hair is sassy and current and I can do lots of fun stuff to change it up. LOVE HER!

NEVER MAKE AN APPT WITH NICHOLAS ASHMORE! He will either postpone, claiming an “emergency” and reschedule only to not show up, not call, or even text to cancel! There are several reviews on here with same experience! He should be fired by now! Unacceptable!

I decided it was time to color my hair, I found Leah Taylor while looking through the Salon Lofts near my apartment in DT St. Pete. I took a chance and loved it and her! She is willing to answer all my questions and is very knowledgeable. I now live in Carrollwood but drive to DT St. Pete just to have her do my hair!

I am a business owner and require a professional look. When I first moved to Florida I went to quite a few different stylists and found that most were more suited for the retirement crowd, or younger crowd. I finally found Leah Taylor and have never looked back. She has been able to provide me with the exact professional style I need whether I have long hair, short hair, bear or no beard. Thanks Leah! I've been having my hair done by Nicholas Ashmore for appx 11 years now. (He's at Salon Lofts on 4th St N now, but I've moved with him from other salons.) He's done everything for me! Chemical straightening, color, haircuts, keratin treatments, tape in extensions, and basic blowouts.

He is, in a word, amazing. Nick has done my hair for every major event of my life for the last decade, and he never disappoints. It's always perfect and lovely (I swear it's like he reads my mind) but if it's ever NOT perfect, he brings me right back in to make it perfect and make sure I'm happy.

Highly, highly, highly recommend! Easy to schedule using the Salon Lofts website, even for last minute appointments. He's just the best.

I had set An appointment with Nicholas Ashmore on 3/6/19. He had messaged me to reschedule due to family emergency for the next day 3/7/19 at 10 am. I was perfectly fine with that. I show up at 9: 47 am at the salon loft to meet him for my 10 am appointment, after waiting about 20 minutes before I texted him to see where he was.
I called and texted multiple times after waiting about 35 more minutes. He never answered my phone or texted me that he was running late. He did not show up. I left around 12. I drove 40 minutes to get my hair done and he didn’t even bother to text or zap me. I ended up going to get my hair done somewhere else to a place that could squeeze me in to their busy schedule. This was very unacceptable.

DON'T NOT GO TO THIS AWFUL PLACE! I had an appointment with Nicholas Ashmore and he DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP FOR MY APPOINTMENT. I called 15 times and let voicemails and texted him. The lady across from his salon asked if I used a Groupon.uh why should it matter? Who doesn't want to save a little money on getting their hair done. She told me they don't accept GROUPON. THEN WHY DO YOU SELL A GROUPON FOR YOUR SALON. Needless to say I made this appointment 2 weeks ago.he even sent me a confirmation e-mail for my appointment 2 days ago! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO BUSINESS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TO GO TO THIS PLACE!

Brandy Tomlinson did a superb job on my corrective color, cut, highlight.i am nearly 40 and i can say finally.i found the best out there. I brought my 14 year old to her just days later to do their very first coloring and again.the best job! Definitely has 2 regulars now! Thannks Brandy!

Moving here from the Indianapolis area and searching for a trustworthy place to get my hair done was scary.until I met Nicholas Ashmore at the Salon Lofts. Always well maintained, clean and stylish, The Salon Lofts I highly recommend when people ask where I get my hair done.

He hasn’t shared my review on his Salon Loft page. I find that wrong in itself. I went in for a cut and partial highlights. The left side of my hair is an inch shorter than my right side. I asked for layers and he only cut my hair to angle my face. Not layers! My highlights are even worse. The color is not consistent. It starts near the root as blonde and darkens to brown as it goes down to the ends on half of it. It’s not good. It’s so bad that I wouldn’t even go back to him to fix it. This was my first time with Nicholas and if that is the job I get as a new client that you should be trying to impress then there is no way you would do me right when fixing it. When I left the salon my hair was wet as it’s curly and the humidity was high so I had no idea how bad the train wreck thatis my hair looked like. I will never go back to Salon Lofts especially for Nicholas Ashmore!

Great place. Everyone has their own booth and everyone is professional. Find yourself a good barber or stylist whom works there and you won't be disappointed.
