Saltwater Seafari Snorkeling Tours, Big Pine Key FL

Great time with Cat Matt. Went for a private snorkeling trip out to the reef and he was a great guide.talked about the local area, fish, and cool general conversation.fully stocked drink cooler (bring your own snacks). Saw some really cool schools of fish and the reef was a nice view. Seas were a little rough so we asked to go to a spot a little less choppy and he was great about it.found a little island and anchored of shore and finished up snorkeling their. All and all, a good day trip on our own private boat. I appreciate the small local businesses and Matt didn't disappoint. Would use him again when re return the the Keys

This was our third snorkeling trip in the Florida Keys in 3 years and this one was by far the best.

Capt Matt made us feel right at home! Service was above and beyond. Our children (5 and 9) both had a great time snorkeling and all the equipment needed is aboard the boat. We will book with Seafari every trip to the keys.

We had the best time with Matt. Took us to two snorkeling spots on looe Key and to a private island. Very friendly great to talk to about local things to see and do. Matt and his wife Jennifer are so easy to book a tour with. Highly recommend! We hope to come back again for another tour.

We could not have had a better snorkeling experience than the one we had with Jenn and Matt to Looe Key. They were helpful, experienced, knowledgeable, and somehow they arranged great weather. Floating above the beautiful sunlit coral reefs was peaceful and exciting with all the colorful fish. Wow! It was amazing! It was the best part of our Florida Keys vacation.

We did a private charter and a 30+ catamaran trip and this was BY FAR THE BEST! Jennifer and Matt asked what we’d like to see and it blew us away! Lots of different depth snorkeling, lots of coral, lots of large and small fish. We saw turtles, rays, and a few sharks. Matt assured us the sharks won’t bother you while in the water and told us several stories that had us more at ease around the sharks. Matt and Jennifer were very laid back, but safety first and came to check on us and explain which direction would be best snorkeling/current. Best charter by FAR! Thank you!

The guide Matt was fantastic, moved three times to give us the best angles of n the reef, which was loaded with colorful marine life, pointed out where to go, ran the boat beautifully. It’s a great boat too, fast and stable, plenty of room, all the gear you need. If there were six stars I’d give ‘em

Awesome experience! Loved having the big float to lay on behind the boat when we first got in or got tired. One of the highlights of all our trips to the Keys!

Great time. Arrived at the dock with three kids where we got to participate in the planning which showed the ability to customize to the group. We opted to hit the reefs as clarity was good for snorkeling while mixing in a sand bar/beach. Kids loved the adventure. My one teenager made me laugh as we went to the aquarium today and he said and I quote, "why are we here.we saw all these fish while snorkeling and it was way more fun! "

We had a great time with Matt and saltwater seafari! He was very friendly and knowledgeable! Spotted some dolphins and slowed our wake so they would come and play in our wake. It was awesome! We saw a makeshift boat refugees had used to come from Cuba. Then took us to Looe Key where we saw colorful fish, barracuda, and even a spotted eagle ray! Would recommend to anyone looking for an awesome snorkeling experience!

If your in the Florida keys and looking for a private snorkeling trip this is who you would want to book with. They were absolutely amazing! Matt was awesome. We have never been snorkeling and he helped us so much! The coral reef is amazing! It was like being in another world when you go under the water. The water was crystal clear! It was well worth the money! It was so surreal!

We LOVED snorkeling Looe reef with Matt & Jennifer! By far our favorite reef and charter in the keys. We will be back & we will be using Saltwater Seafari - easy to book, great communication via email & text, informative, helpful & chill while really looking out for our safety.
Plus Jennifer took great underwater pics of our adventures and Matt showed us lots of amazing sea creatures while he was in the boat & in the water.

Captain Matt and Jennifer went above and beyond any expectations we had. They were amazing with our two kids! They are both very knowledgeable about the Sea life and the Reef! We saw Goliath Grouper, shark, lobster, a sea turtle, and big schools of fish. Thank you very much for an amazing time and a beautiful sunset!

Without hyperbole, this was the best snorkeling experience had within the Continental US. Matt and Jennifer were amazing and accommodating hosts who really knew their way around the waters! Our children were floored by the experience and still continue to speak of it! 30 foot visibility, reef fish (Midnights, Parrot Fish, Hogfish, lobster, etc.), eels, shark, and leather-back turtles. Matt even had a pod of dolphin interacting/playing with the boat. This team was AMAZING and we would highly recommend Saltwater Seafari to anyone interested in a day of fun in the beautiful Florida Keys!

Jennifer and Matt were great! They were so accommodating with my family- we have a 6 year old and a 2 year old and they knew exactly how to plan our trip so all could enjoy! Fantastic! Top recommendation from us! We had an excellent boat/snorkel trip to Looe Key Reef and are planning to go again next year with Saltwater Seafari. We had 5 people and it is SO nice having a personalized outing. Captain Matt was the best and took the time to turn us around to catch up with some dolphins playing and to see a sea turtle he saw before we did, on our way. It is also enjoyable to hear about island living and we had great music too. He also is quick to do everything possible for an excellent experience for everyone on-board. Saltwater Seafari is the way to go:)
