Relaxed atmosphere, staff is super, even when it's crazy busy. Very clean. Good place to get out and be around easy-going people. Pool enthusiast alert, lots of league and events happening here!

I love neighborhood bars. I happened on Jim's after shopping for Toyota trucks. As I stepped in, the Allman Brothers were playing on the speakers, there were a few seats left at the bar and despite being busy I was acknowledged fairly quickly. I settled in and watched the Rays game while enjoying the Playlist. The beer was very cold and the patrons and staff warm. Ultimately I ended up getting food and watched the end of the game. I enjoyed the night thanks to all.

A true treasure of original Sarasota. Great music on Saturday and very good chicken wings. Pool tables if you can get one.

Knowing that the Bloody Mary's were the Hit and I see why. They also have a selection of craft beer and that reg stuff.

We didn't have any food but we had a great bartender on the outside deck we were hoping for music on the weekend but I think the 4th of July changed it

3 Beautiful professional 7ft pool tables and attentive quality bartenders. Food is also available. Will be back for the pool tables and great service

Very nice place, good drinks good food nice atmosphere and Courtney is absolutely the nicest, friendliest person definitely will be back. Finally got back to Salty Jim's our food was great, probably the best homemade chips ever.

First timer today and the wings were as perfect as they get with how I ordered them…. Extra crispy soaking wet with hot sauce. The service was phenomenal as well! Definitely gonna be a go to from now on!

People are so friendly but I wish they had music every night and also put it on there web site so we all know what time the music starts

What with your bartenders? You walk up or sit down at the bar and they don’t say a word NO EYE CONTACT! Excuse me! First rule of thumb when working in any kind of business is acknowledgement! Hello, I’ll be right with you! Sets a good pace for communication you’d think they’d be a bit more friendly. I’m writing this because I’ve been here several times and it’s the same ole stuff. I always feel like it’s a chore to get a drink

Yummy cheeseburger wrap and the fries were delish. Owner is amazing and very personable. Only negative is the bartender was not very attentive to us and never smiled. Serving the regulars after we had ordered.

Never got my drink despite asking for it twice, but the burger and pool tournament was good.
