Salvation Army Family Store reviews
14I usually have a good experience shopping here. The employees are friendly. Lately the prices have gotten a bit crazy. When you see Dollar tree items priced at $5.00 you know whomever is pricing doesn’t have a clue and shouldn’t have the job of pricing donations!
Went here to find a queen-sized headboard, and I found a nice one for $15. It was definitely worth the trip. Goodwill had none.
This place has helped me out so much since I've been homeless, and I'm very grateful for them because I live on the street and don't have much money
Clean. Well spaced items, nothing is crowded or piled up. Linen and shoe prices are much higher than expected. Most other things are priced close to what you would expect at a thrift store. Good staff
My home was burglarized while I visited my sister who tested positive for Covid. When I came to Ms. Kathy for help, she was more than amazing, personable, and kind to me. She went above and beyond to assist me. The ladies there made me feel welcomed and loved. I’m so grateful for all the ladies have done for me! When everyone else said no, Salvation Army said yes!
I don't give negative reviews of places like these, sure the floors could use a good scrubbing but without places like these some families would truly struggle getting clothes and other things needed to fill theor homes with comfort inlove this place always finding a treasure to carry home as a keep sake.
It's really a nice store, clean and prices are reasonable, we purchased quite a lot of items. The entire staff was friendly except for the cashier who went out of her way to be as rude as she possibly could, and obviously had a racial or political axe to grind. With a store full of good people why put the most hateful one dealing with customers?
I like this store however, I have noticed their prices have gone up which puts them up there with local area thrift stores who are getting high priced as well.
Why buy used when the new things are almost the same price?
Leaving me with the decision of which store helps people the most to spend my money for the prices.
Their prices are way too high for used items. I don't know what they're thinking, you can buy new cheaper!
The prices in the store were to high it was clean and orderly the staff was very professional
It was a very clean store. Didn't find anything that I needed or wanted this time. I have found things in the past. Nice stuff.
They are very picky. Save you time and just take it to the dump. Fortunately I did not have to take all the items to the dump. I stopped by Good Will and they were very helpful in sorting my stuff. Taking what they could sell and helping me to reload the things they could not.
Everyone is nice and helpful. The Young Man in Warehouse was very helpful and knows around the store and items. He's great!
Prices were not what we expected considering that the items that we wanted were not in great condition!
