Samina Reza, MD, Land O' Lakes FL

We met Dr. Reza at her Zephryhills location. My husband is being treated for MDS and it is imperative that he receives his weekly treatment. Our first meeting was excellent and informative and we left feeling good with her treatment plan. The first treatment went without a hitch. We had another appointment the following week. When I asked her a question regarding my husband's treatment plan back home and our insurance, she, for a better word, "freaked out" and said that if she didn't get paid she would not continue to treat him. This was on a Thursday morning, and he was scheduled for treatment on Friday. She said she would call us back that afternoon to set up his appointment on Friday. No call backs, and 6 messages from us between Thursday and Friday were never answered. We showed up Friday afternoon and she had left for vacation. The office staff (who is wonderful to deal with) apologized, but said they couldn't help us. Our oncologist from our home state reached out to them to try to explain our situation and treatment plan that our insurance will pay for, but the best they could do was call in a prescription to the pharmacy for a shot. Which they want me to administer. WHAT? So, I found a nurse in our subdivision who would administer the shot. When I I went to pick up the prescription from the pharmacy, they said that Dr. Reza did not fill out the authorization form and that the RX would cost me $2000. Out of pocket. It's now at the pharmacy review board, he is still waiting for his treatment from 6 days ago and he's due for another one in 2 days. I understand that she is not an insurance expert and that she has staff to deal with that. A simple check of our records at that office from last year should have cleared up any insurance questions. I understand that she is running a business, but who lets a cancer patient go untreated? The sad thing is, we can't cancel our standing appointments until we find another oncologist in this area. We are very sad and disappointed that a doctor would show a lack of compassion towards her patients.

Dr. REZA is wonderful. Very professional, yet extremely kind. I would highly recommend her!

I love love LOVE this office! Everyone from the front desk to Dr Reza herself are patient, friendly and Dr Reza is always more than willing to answer my questions regarding my treatment. Dr reads office treats me like a person and I feel my opinion is valued and that I can have as active a role as possible in deciding my treatment and best course of action. Pansy is the sweetest tech I have ever had the pleasure of being seen by! She always has a smile and is an absolute joy to be around!

I found dr Reza to be thorough and efficient. She diagnosed and treated the immediate issue while pushing to find the root cause.

My husband Roberto and myself love this office. Dr Reza and her staff are very friendly, caring, patient and helpful. From check in, to Pansy, Dawn, Misty and Christina in the back, it is always a pleasure to come into the office. I would recommend Dr. Reza and her staff anytime.

Met Dr. Reza when my wife was hospitalized and having severe health issues. She is very thorough and has a great demeanor. Since my wife's issues I have developed some health issues but not as severe. As mentioned, she is very thorough, determined the cause and remedied the situation. Both my wife and I have periodic follow up's and keep the health situations in check. Dr. Reza is a great physician and a credit the medical profession. In addition to care Dr Reza gives her patients the time they deserve.
