Sam's Club, Daytona Beach FL

I have to get Sam's 4 stars for the pricing especially if you are buying in bulk, but I can't stand the long behind lines and they don't open up enough cashiers in any of these stores these days. Maybe it's just me also, I believe that the new Sam's on LPGA is way smaller then the one that was originally opened on Beville and Nova.

Nice clean store. Reasonably well stocked and not too busy.
Mask wearing is of course very optional, and social distancing is non existent.
Go close to 10am to avoid the crowds.

Sam's has always been great for us. We can stock up on certain things and not have to buy it for awhile. Some paper products, Tylenol, garbage bags, etc. Oh, and we can gas up the car too.

Overcrowded but generally clean and well stocked. Snack bar not as good as others, nothing made fresh.

I was very disappointed, i was in desperate need of diesel fuel and when i finally got to the pump, i found that i had to be a SAM CLUB MEMBER to purchase fuel! Ridiculous! I barely made it to the RACE TRACK to purchase my fuel. I was on vacation.

Good selection. Nice staff. Use the app to make sure they have what you want before you go. Also checki g your membership card as you go in.

One manager was able to assist me with no issue, while the first older man treated me like a con artist. He scanned my number three times, looked at my history, looked at the shipping, kept asking when I ordered. Calling out my previous married name, my maiden name and my last name saying he didn't know where to look. My account got wiped, or so I thought, since my name change all my previous history was gone and I couldn't login to it. But he felt the need to suggest I was using an alias. He suggested I ordered in May or March, then exclaimed I picked it up in the store last week. The box was not a Sam's box, but I showed him the tracking information From Sam's and FedEx. IT was the box sent from Sams. The items inside had no labels and one was empty. After nearly 15 yrs, I am done with Sam's, and hope I never see that man's ugly face again

Was very impressed with the Sam's Club in Daytona Beach. Clean, well stocked and wide enough aisles they you could navigate smooth. Pleasant employees at checkout counters and exit.

Great place to shop good prices an had good customer service. U can find just about everything u need here, which is great for my chunky needs. Sam's makes shopping easy an less time consuming, 10/10 would recommend.

Always a pleasure to shop Sam's I have scan and go. I advise anyone who.has a Sam's charge to set up scan and go.no one touched your stuff except you no waiting no registers just check out at the door with.your cell and you are on your way. Awesome.

Best of the membership stores in the area. Unfortunately we only have Sam's Club and BJ's. I had belonged to BJs but let my membership lapse as I got better deals at Sam's and it's much closer than BJs. However, this review would change drastically if we had a Costco within a decent distance! Their return policy of return anything, anytime (within reason & excluding laptops & electronics) no questions asked, is why I drive there for appliances.

First time in Sam's Club in Daytona Beach and will be the last time rude customer service people

The store itself is great and there are alot of great deals. Its even got a small grill area inside to eat lunch. However, the young man working the cash register at 2: 00 this afternoon seemed to be highly impaired on a sedative of some sort. Not only did he have trouble making change, he thought he gave me my order right after I paid. Slacker at best.

New member.merchandise and savings are really good.the customer service end, organization of the staff and people being properly trained is not good.shows the minute a new member walks in.it's way way off compared to a traditional store.

The mandatory $35 upgrade to plus member card to shop early is BS. ESPECIALLY since the business card has been accepted since you opened 20 years ago for early shopping.

I love Sam's i only have to shop once a month and get everything I need for the hole month. (I love that).

Home office need to take a hard look at this location about shutting it down just like other 65 Sam’s club they did. Worst customer service, tried to get hold of Mike (store manager) but associates won’t let it happen with excuses and lies. Have business account and have been going this location since they’ve opened. Met with assistant managers but they are complete waste of time and payroll. They probably got that position by kissing butts. So they have zero clue on business and customer interactions. Left car there to change tires all 4 Michelin and associate told me the car would be ready by 6: 30 and guess what!? Car was not ready.disgusted and not a single person tried to fix the issue except saying their favorite word SORRY. I will be praying for this location to shut down. Please home office. This location is bad reputation for your whole company.

UPDATE: Adding a star. I contacted Sam's club yet again with links to articles by three respiratory health organizations documenting the dangers of scents and fragrances and last visit to this club, the usually overly fragrant staff member was not wearing it. Thank You! I upgraded my membership to Plus and got my meds for much less money using the Plus Program. I highly recommend you check it out. 600 meds for $4 or $10 per month.

I wish the staff would lay off the perfume. I can hardly use the pharmacy for the stench. Other staff also wear it. WHY? Looking for a date? I have respiratory problems and you're killing me. The optometric department is amazing! Great staff, friendly, courteous, and helpful even under the pressures of a busy day with staff out sick. Dr. Lee is very kind and skilled at her job.

I like this place, you can save on some things. I just feel like some things are a little over priced. But there are some really good deals. They have a huge bakery which includes all kinds of different beads and pastries and cakes of all kinds and cupcakes, basically everything. Their fruit and vegetable section is quite large as well which I really like. They have bath products, freezer section, fridge section, and every other isle a grocery store would have except is all in large portions. They also have clothes for men, women and children. They sell some good brands to. Like nine West, chaps, dockers, etc.
