Dr Ostrower is a great, down-to-earth doctor. Him and his friendly staff at the Joe Dimaggio office provide a very high standard of service. Highly recommend him.

A doctor with a heart for patients. He listens, connects well with the kids. Wait time was very short. He carefully calculates the treatment options and does not rush into treatments. All healthcare professionals should be like this.

I don’t write reviews much but I just left the office and this is my first visit and I am so happy we met Dr. Ostrower. I am impressed how much time he gave us listening to our story. My child is multi complex with a trech and so taking the time to get to know us is extremely important. I HIGHLY recommend! I can’t say enough good things about him

Dr. Ostrower is an attentive, kind doctor who focuses on his patient and doesn’t make you feel rushed. He answered all questions and made us feel comfortable. Thank you!

I have never had the pleasure of dealing with such a perfect team! Dr. Ostrower, John, Pat, Eduardo, the very nice and attentive receptionist! WOW! I really appreciate the way they comunícate, they have explain every single thing and make us feel in very good hands. We never felt a number or that anyone in that team is in a rush to get rid of the patient to get to the next one, as another places. This team its second to none!
I just have a suggestion: please document and trademark your way with patients and parents, and try to teach other Doctors offices how to do it right. We really appreciate you!

I was having a good experience until today.
Every time I went to the office I would sit and wait to be seen. Never had I complained.

However, today I arrived 20 minutes late and they simply, nonchalantly, told me to come back another day. I had been waiting to do a final hearing on my daughter, something that takes about 10-15 minutes and they didn’t even try.

Today was a teacher’s planning day and I had been waiting to not have both of my kids miss school again. I also tried contacting the office to inform and no one would answer. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they send a man with a ponytail to take his frustrations in life out on me. Did not allow to explain my side and kept cutting me off. How unprofessional on his part for someone representing their office and/or the Joe D’s team.

Today, I walk out without being able to r/o a hearing issue for my daughter. We are all human and traffic could’ve happen to anyone and I have never been late to any of their appointments. I little 15 minute accommodation would’ve made a difference. Instead they referred me to Hearing USA.

This doctor does not seem ethical to me based on my experience with him. His office staff is unorganized and they barely answer their phones. That's all I am going to say.

I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Ostrower. He and his team are amazing and my son's surgery was a BIG success. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ostrower. He knows what he is doing and he is great at what he does. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

A wonderful doctor and a fantastic person. His bedside manner is very good, he is very sensitive and caring to the parents and child. His clinical skills are excellent. Of course, no one wants to have to see an ENT, it means something is likely wrong medically. But if you are unfortunately in this situation, Dr. Ostrower is one of the very best at this specialty in the area.

The one star reviews are garbage and a totally unfair way to rate someone. This guy is great! I’m in healthcare and I highly recommend Dr. Ostrower.

Just had a horrible first time experience calling this office. I was refereed to this Doctor for my 18 month daughter who needs Ear Tube Surgery. The lady on the phone (Crystal) was very impatient with me and gave me false information. The website shows appointments in February, she was purposely giving me much later dates in March and April because of whatever mood she was in. (It truly felt like she was annoyed I even called) This situation is stressful enough that my daughter is having to go through this. I recommend better employees who are more sympathetic, understanding and patient. I will definitely ask to be referred elsewhere.

I have been hesitant to share the experience of our son and his Tonsillectomy. He unfortunately fell in the 2% of worst case scenarios. After we were discharged and sent home, our 4 and half year old started vomiting blood including large size clots. This happened three times in a very short span of time once we were home. We immediately knew something was wrong and headed straight to the ER. He was in a lot of pain and hysterical by the time we arrived. The ER staff was absolutely amazing! They checked the inside of his mouth right away and called Dr Ostrower immediately. We were so grateful that he was still in the hospital and was quick and thorough in explaining what had occurred and what would need to happen. We stayed overnight for observation and he is well into his recovery. Surgery for our son was always the last resort and making this decision on his behalf wasn’t taken lightly. We initially tried a holistic path for the first three years of his life but the symptoms would always come back and his quality of life in terms of air intake was very poor. Again, I think creating awareness of our experience is important as almost everyone we spoke to prior to surgery downplayed the gravity of this common practiced surgery. Again, should this happen to your little one rest assured that Joe Dimaggio is the most equipped in staff and medical attention and we thank everyone that assisted our son in his recovery.
