Santa Rosa Shooting Center reviews
28Great Place. Excellent staff and helpful. Love this place. Even if I drive past it.every time.lol.
THE BEST they are friendly.helpful. Cheap. Very Professional, thank you guys for making me feel confident on my time there,
Haven't been to this range in years and WOW! Everybody is incredibly nice and range boss is very helpful. Definitely going back SOON!
Visiting family in Pensacola, FL and went here on a Friday. Fantastic facilities with lots of shooting bays - we used the handgun range and there was a separate rifle range. A steady stream of people filtered in and out but there were never any space issues. The facility itself includes not just the handgun and rifle range but a slew of other shooting and outdoor spaces.
The employees there were extremely friendly, VERY knowledgeable and even took time to provide pointers and tips for those not experienced. One gent, I think Wes was his name, spent a good 15-20 minutes throughout the few hours we spent shooting there to show me proper grips, aiming, stance and he could even tell the type of training my father had - someone who learned on a revolver vs.a clip just by how he held the gun.
Great place - 5 stars.
I had a wonderful experience here! All of the staff was nice, but one in particular went out of his way to help us get our gun working properly and even let us use his own gun with a sight to look and see if we were hitting the target, wish I would have gotten his name. But we will certainly be back! Prices weren’t bad and there was lots of room in each lane for all of your belongings.
Safe clean friendly service extremely affordable, and I'll say it again very safe great Range officers very helpful.
My husband and daughter are avid shooters. They have a variety of guns they take to the range when they go. Santa Rosa shooting range is their go to place. I visited for the 1st time with them and was very impressed with the facility.overall it is clean and the staff was friendly. I feel like they really look out for everybody's safety.
The sporting clay course is a blast, pistol and rifle shooting seems a bit expensive to me though.
I love everything about this place, it's my favorite place to go relax and send a few rounds down range. My only wish is that they add longer ranges, the max is 100 yards so far they are in the spring process for up to 150 yards I believe but the staff is wonderful and so helpful, they have 9 rifle ranges in sets of 3 for different distances, 7 pistol ranges at least, and 4? Shotgun lanes not to mention the other half i haven't had a chance to check out yet lol
This is probably one of the best public shooting ranges in the area. The folks here are very professional and continuously improve the facilities.
The nicest range in the area. RSO always on duty. This range is clean and organized with covered shooting station with fans. Excellant skeet/trap stations. We have a lot of fun here.
We had a great time. Five stand was great. If you like to shoot clays add this to your vacation plans. We even got to shoot a round of skeet with the local club. Great group of shooters. Best part of trip for my son and I.
*They no longer do rapid fire due to people with bumpfire stocks missing the berm (sp), but still a very pleasant and convenient place! This place is awesome! They are kid friendly, I love how you can leave and come back all day and only pay once. Rapid-fire days are awesome!
Clean and controlled environment. Good safe place to shoot with beginners or anyone looking to work on accuracy.
Great place if they had a longer rifle range like 2 or 3 hundred yards it would b even better but no complaints.
Good range, the field clay range is pretty cool, the staff are friendly, but I do have a couple issues.
#1 the wooden target frames on the rifle range are always shot to hell, I can never seem to find one that is in good shape.
#2 the prices aren't terrible, but for a college student they are fairly steep. I wish they had a student discount!
#3 No rapid fire, and no holster draw!
Best range I've been to in the santa rosa/escambia area by far! The staff is very polite and helpfull, not your typical condescending range masters. The time between hot & cold range is nice, you are not waiting too long yet have a respectable amount of time to shoot.
I will definately be returning with my girlfriend so she has a comfortable place to learn how to shoot.
Not a bad place, but $16 for a bench.
Rifle range, - 50 & 100yrds.
Have pistol and trap shooting ranges, did not visit those yet. Best range I've been to was $10 a person. 5 stars for a cheaper entry.
Top notch... Best staff in the panhandle! Range owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to enjoy your shooting experiences.
Staff was friendly and helpful. As a first time shooter the employees were willing to take time to answer questions that I had.
