Santorini Greek Cuisine reviews
20Best place to eat in downtown Deland! The food is amazing along with the staff and atmosphere. My favorite thing to get is the chicken princess. 10/10 would recommend!
Thanks to other reviews we stopped for lunch…and so glad we did. Fast friendly service and very big menu! Grilled octopus is one of the best we have had. Gyro was seasoned but not salty and and great portion size for the money. Delicious Tzatziki! Greek salad was awesome and dressing delicious. Feta was super good! Definitely worth the trip and definitely recommend.
Great place for Greek food. Never a bad meal here. Had much (but not all!) of their menu. - - As a side note they spend money on their tomatoes. In other words the tasteless, watery, hard, offerings you have everywhere else cannot be compared to the tomatoes this restaurant has. They come with the Gyros platter and perhaps with other dishes, and I know this review has been mostly about tomatoes but both their food and the tomatoes are great!
On a quiet Friday afternoon, we enjoyed the food as well as the service. Our party had a Greek salad, Spanakopita, and the Chicken Santorini. Everything was lovely. Well prepared, fresh and enjoyed by our little group. We will absolutely return on future visits to the DeLand area as it is a highlight of food scene here.
Very pleased with my first visit. Will be back. The dolmades where awesome - good flavor and texture. The tzatziki is rich and refreshing. I had the gyros platter and spouse had a gyros sandwich. Both were generous portions and perfect flavors.
My first time there. Excellent service and very clean. I had the large Greek salad which is large and very good. I am not really familiar with the rest of the menu but my friend was happy with what he ordered and the people at the next table recommend trying what they had next time. Good enough for me.
A little crowded, as they were busy and a little under staffed, but the food was good.
We will return again to sample more good eats.
Authentic gyros that were huge and delicious for an amazing price of 7.95. There Greek fries were very good and crispy. Small, intimate inside dining area with 2 tables outside as well.
My family had diner here and everything we ordered was delicious. It took me back to all the great Greek food that I missed from Greek Town in Chicago. Definitely will return.
Small, intimate, and delicious! Had a great time with my family! Serving staff was great! Seemed family own but not certain. Bryce was a pretty solid server, I would recommend him if you intend to dine here.
Love Santorini's! The food is fantastic and the servers are friendly. We have been going four years.larger space now.area about four
Let me assure you, all the stars here are well deserved. I would go out of my way to come here again. Ended up in this place by coincidence on my way to south Florida. In the middle of the bustling main street this place added a different dimension to my Greek Food experience. The menu was simplistic. The seating nothing fancy. The food was on point. Fish cooked perfectly (hats off to the chef). The employees were polite and friendly.
Food is so good and vegetarian mousaka is the best! The only bummy parts is they upped their price on it and their hours are terrible. And they are closed on mondays ugh. I can’t pay $15 for mousaka that’s just too much. It’s not even made there it’s heated up. But it’s soooo good and the food is really good.
Definitely one of the best Greek restaurants I have been to. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fresh, hot and had a lot flavor.
This Greek restaurant is absolutely amazing!
I had the vegetarian Mousaka, and it was divine, so deliciously fresh!
The only thing is that is a little tight in there. But the excellent food and service makes up for it.
It would be nice to have this place here, in Brevard.
This place was delicious! The service was great, and they were all very polite. First and foremost their Baklava dessert was amazing, but we ordered fried zucchini as an appetizer. It came with a spicy garlic potato mash for dipping, which was actually really good. I ordered the gyro sandwich and it was by far the best gyro I've had. I would highly recommend this place!
Waited almost an hour and the food was cold and chicken was fatty. Not very good. Best bet is to stick with opas on Broadway
The absolute best gyro I’ve ever had in my entire life. I couldn’t stop repeating this claim over and over in my head the first time I’ve had a gyro from here. Seriously good food, great atmosphere, excited to try more items from the menu.
Santorini was our favorite restaurant and in a way it still is. The staff is super friendly, prices are fair and the food is by far the best I've had in central fl. But I'm sooooo dissapointed they took out the blackened mahi and a few other items off their menu, it so happens to be that all they took out is exactly what we order when we go there. How dissapointing: (I know they have other great dishes there but that was the only reason I made the one hour drive to Deland. I hope they bring all of those items back. I'm sure they had their reasons but damn. I'm going to miss going to that place.
The food is excellent. Highly recommend. The service was fast and friendly. The food was piping hot. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Their greek dressing was really good. The prices are great. I will definitely be back.
