I moved in July 2023. Since I moved in there has been issues starting when I signed my lease. I was told I can come by after 5 to get my keys and sign my lease. I arrive around 5: 30 and I’m told that it will be an about 10-15 minutes because the cleaners were still there. Well an hour and a half later I finally get to see my apartment. Well to my surprise it was a 2/1 when I applied and was approved for a 2/2 but since it was around 7pm there was nothing they could do until the next day when I was set to move. Saturday comes around and I am told there is an apartment available but it’s not cleaned and maintenance wasn’t there. I had to have my electricity started before I moved it but since it was Friday night when I found out it was the wrong apartment I couldn’t call Duke to disconnect it until Monday. So I had to pay Duke $50 for connection and 3 days that I didn’t live there. I waited a few days and signed a new lease with an assigned parking spot I pid for. Well I went to park there and there is already a car in that parking spot. I was able to speak to the people and they told me that they were assigned that spot, so I went to the office and was assigned a new spot. I didn’t mind paying for the spot because it was in front of my building and safer with an autistic child instead of walking far at night. Well 4 months later I come out to a sticker on my car that I am parked in an unauthorized spot. I called the office and was told that they sold it and it looked like I was assigned my original spot in the computer. I explained what happened and told them I was assigned the new number, then they told me I wasn’t being charged, which isn’t my problem because I signed the documentation and I never got any correspondence from the office and I never sent them anything saying I didn’t want the parking. So then the office tells me I can have a new parking spot a few spaces down from the one I originally had. Well it looked like that one was assigned also even though it wasn’t in their computer. So I am out a parking spot that I’ve been in for 4 months because of their issue. Instead of fixing the problem and telling the people they sold my spot to the same thing they told me. Sorry it was my mistake this one was already assigned, I lose my spot for their error. I talked to the property manager and she said she was going to look into it but I didn’t hear anything back so I called the office again and all they said was there was nothing they could do.

Also, it says that one of the amenities is a gym. Well I’ve been here for 4 months and I’m still unable to use it. When I first moved in I was told it was closed for remodeling. Once it opened up I called the office and asked if I could get the key fob to get in the gym. The person in the leasing office told me that they were back ordered and would let us know when they have some.

There has also been a lot of unleashed dogs. A few have approached my dog while on his leash and it almost turned into a dog fight. The owners didn’t seem to care to come and get their dogs. Another time a dog almost bit my dog while my daughter was walking our dog.

If this wasn’t in my daughters school zone I would not recommend moving here

I moved in 9/15/2023, I was told that I couldn't check the apartment before then when I tried to pay early for my first two weeks as rent is due on the 1st of every month and I was moving halfway into rent cycle. The reason they said was because the apartment was still being lived in until the day of or before I moved into it. This means they either had a bit over 24 hours or even less then a day to clean and do repairs to the place before I moved into the apartment.

During the checklist, I listed that the toilet ran randomly as they didn't check that or skipped over it during the 'clean up'. Dents were painted over in some areas with it still showing some indents here and there. The kitchen has one of it's electricity sockets missing or removed as I was unable to place anything into it for power as plugs just fell out. The AC unit didn't have a filter either and I had to place a maintenance request for them to get it, it was too large and a side is slightly bent.

Living here I noticed the water in the shower was weak along with it running out within 15-30 minutes depending on if I was using the dishwasher or not (Which was dirty when I first moved in). Bumps are all across the bath tub as well, making it uncomfortable to lay down in and thus restricting to a shower. Not only that but within a day I saw a cockroach in the apartment as well. The sink quickly clogged in my bathroom as I was shaving when it stopped draining after a month of staying here. Last night 10/20/2023, I noticed the AC wasn't acting at full strength but thought it was just a fluke but now it isn't working at all 10/21/2023 just a month and six days after moving in. The outside is colder then inside now. The trash often overfills with it having a compression system however it quickly fills up thus requiring people to place their trash next to it while waiting for it to be emptied, often creating one to three mountains of trash bags.

It is obvious they are taking advantage of the housing problem to charge much more then the place is worth. If three of my co workers didn't refer me to here I wouldn't of moved into this place. One said that it nearly doubled after they moved out three years ago though that is what they said and I don't have solid proof on rent over the years without asking the office for it.

I have been living here for almost a year now. The people in the office are unprofessional, rude, and sometimes even disrespectful. I have to call 2 or 3 times to get things fixed in my apartment, and when they do come, the problem isn't fixed properly the first time. I only gave 2 stars because of the size of the unit, and the neighborhood is nice. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!
They only fix what you can see from the outside. They don’t want children playing in the playground because kids make messes. They slap you with a fine of $75 if they see one piece of garbage on your patio. It could be anyone but she blames the kids.
The property manager is so unreasonable and is very disrespectful to the tenants. Meanwhile 80% of the tenants smoke weed and cigarettes in this “exclusive” non smoking community. There are two brothers who live in 1587 who I followed after I saw them vandalize a car. Those two bully all the small children in the complex. I confronted the Mother and she slammed the door in my face. Emily said she would have the manger call me, still waiting. Next time I’m calling the police.
Cars have been stolen, broken into and vandalized but no one does nothing. Security at night is a joke. Water gets turned off all the time due to issues that never get fixed. One compactor for 300 plus apartments and it’s always overflowing. Good job! Let’s welcome all the neighborhood rats. Poor elderly tenants have to haul their garbage and they charge a trash fee. Genius! Some neighbors can have patio doors so not to have garbage on their patio. I guess management plays favorites.
Corporate if you bother to read this, get a new staff.

We moved here a couple of months back from out of state and that can be hectic, but the girls in the office are 5 stars! I am a big fan of team "E"! They are so helpful and go the extra mile to make sure you are happy.

Update: I contacted the complex and they never contacted me back

This is the worst apartment experience I have ever had. Maura the manager is the most racist person I have ever met. They made sure that about 12000 worth of my things were stolen including my safe with sensitive information. These apartments are not worth the price at all and there are plenty better and cheaper in the area.
DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR.

The best apartment I have ever rented!
It is spacious, modern and has an awesome kitchen.
The outdoor comum areas are pretty good as well. Not to mention the great location, a 10 minute walk to shops like T-Mobile, Ross, TJMax, Publix and Esporta fitness center

Just wanted to come on here and let everyone know how amazing Emily is in the leasing office! I was down visiting from college, and helping my girlfriend find a new place! We came on a Saturday and Emily got us straight in, and had my girlfriend apply, and she was accepted for her 1/1 within an hour 1/2!
Emily made us feel so at home, and helped my partner out so much and made the move in process so easy.
10/10 recommend working with Emily if you plan on moving here!

I would love to share my first experience with Sapphire apartments. I was looking for my very first apartment living alone, on my day off a Saturday. I was recommended to check this place out, and as I pulled in I am greeted by a sign that stated hours. On Saturday’s they are available by appointment only, I thought to myself oh darn what am I going to do? I proceeded to call the number listed on the bulletin and was greeted by such an awesome tone who said please come on in! I was as nervous as could be but was treated with such kindness. I was wearing every bit of nerve on my sleeve, and thank everything Emily was there. She was the agent who helped me through this scary process. She constantly reassured me and made sure I was comfortable. Offered me a water and even offered to let me use the computer to make my process quicker. While being there we were given a quick tour of the office which gives a pretty basic outline of the units. We weren’t able to see our unit but Emily made sure to show us everything on a map and even include a virtual tour. Every bit of anxiety I had was washed away with Emily's hospitality. Once applied I was approved within the hour and receiving a congratulations call from Emily. It was nice to feel she was almost as excited as me! Since then there has been constant communication when needed. At one point we were informed our unit would not be available by the lease start date …. IMMEDIATELY Emily was doing everything to fix the situation ensure a home for me. Just like I thought she would she did it! Again through every process I’ve had thus far with Emily has been a breeze. Her customer service is a 10/10 and I am so lucky to have someone who I can entrust through my lease here. I recommend everyone who is thinking about living her goes to Emily. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Emily!

I visit my daughter she moved out a week ago she had to stay the whole year for the contract but has been dying to move out the maintenance service is the worst and even worse is the roaches, office people know manners rude I don't recommend this place to anybody, they had mold in the in the bathroom my grandson was always sick with respiratory My daughter Lost out on a lot of work because of missing days with her son, this place don't even deserve a star can't even get in touch with the corporate office cuz there's no main number

If I could give 0 stars I would. Sleazy leasing company. They will take your money. Applied and approved, then cancelled our reserved unit because they rerun your credit without authorization. Paid the reservation fee and they refuse to refund. Be careful.

I rate this one star because it took a month and a half to get a lease modification from office lady and had to constantly be calling and reminding which after two attempts of correcting the lease itself was able to get it done.
