Dr. Young is professional as well as caring.
I received more information from her in the 15 minutes I spent in her office than the last 2 years with my last hematologist.

Dr. Sarah Young is an outstanding oncologist / hematologist. On my first visit with her, she identified a probable cause for my various blood- and hormone-related illnesses. She is a good listener and an excellent diagnostician. I highly recommend Dr. Young.

Dr Young & the OCHI team "salvaged" my cancer "situation". Her aggressive treament plan significantly reduced my stage IV complications successfully. I switched to her care at Orlando Health Cancer Institute after terrible, reemerged complications which required hospitalization after stopping a stagnate care situation with another non Orlando Health specialist. I am blessed by Dr Young's focus upon my quality & longevity of life.
Dr. Young provided exceptional care for me through my Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma treatment. Going through something like that is not commonplace, so patients have many questions. She always made sure all of my questions were addressed.

Was prepared and knew my history of tests and procedures. Maintains eye contact and does not hide in a laptop. Has a plan that was discussed in detail with me. Very knowledgeable yet can convey that knowledge in a manor which a patient can understand. Discusses options and long range plans, not just knee jerk to a single test value. What is very obvious is her genuine caring for a patient and treatment, not just another patient and his/her wallet.
