Been coming to this church for 44 years! Love this church. One of my most famous places to be! Wonderful people who support and love one another. Pursuing Jesus in every way!

There's no umppphh I saw the band members in the lobby, they didn't even wanna be there. Just a bit boring is all. I felt like I was being punked. I looked around and people were close to sleeping through the service. It's a shame, as I know Jesus to be worthy of PRAISE! Amen!

This church is like family.friendly, welcoming, and generous. Todd Allen the lead pastor is young and energetic delivering messages deeply rooted in scripture. Children and student ministries are interactive and offer varied activities to help them grow in their walk with Christ. The “icing in the cake“ is the music ministry, heartfelt worship every week. We are so pleased to have found this wonderful group of people to share life with and to worship Jesus Christ.

It's not often we count the cost of how brave we are when we step into an environment where everyone knows each other and you of course, do not. We feel the strength of our nerves fade perhaps whenever we start a new job or a place where we know we will be required to speak.

So it is with a place called church.

We took a leap.along with our jitters into SARASOTA CHRISTIAN CHURCH as one of a list of places to visit many years ago. We gave it some time and ended up never visiting the likes of any others on that list.

Sure the worship was warm & sincere, greeters that smile with kindness, 1st rate children & teen programs, small gatherings to get to really know one another and even the staff and members were contagiously genuine. But there was ultimately something else.

There we were captured by the true sense of the GOOD NEWS being played out in real time.
GOODNESS. AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANITY. REAL.
Honesty & integrity at every turn.
We were finally home and it is well with our souls!

If you ever visit, just ask for Jeff and Doreen Morgan. We can help with those jitters.

Since Mark & I have attended Sarasota Christian Church, we’re given a greater sense of purpose and meaning. We can see the history of what has led us up to this point, and the promise that lies in our future even beyond this world. SCC helps us revisit the larger narrative of life and the reasons to hold on and keep the faith.

This is the first church we ever visited when we moved to Sarasota back in 2006. We loved it so much that we never visited any others. We have always felt like part of a family here!

Our family has enjoyed attending this church since 2009. I was baptized at Sarasota Christian Church in 2013. Both of my children love going to Sunday school and attended the little preschool here when they were younger. The staff and members are all so welcoming and kind, you will never feel out of place. Todd Allen has such great enthusiasm when he delivers his sermons. This is a great church for anyone at any stage in their life.
