Captain Mike and his first mate Anthony went above and beyond to make our FL fishing experience top notch!

We had the time of our lives this morning! Captain Mike and First Mate Anthony were communicative, fun, knowledgeable and excited when all of us caught fish! We took our fresh catch to Spearfish Grill in Siesta Key. The chef prepared the fillets perfectly! We will definitely be back!

What an absolute blast we had fishing last week with these guys! Captain Tyler got us on the fish and First Mate Anthony did a top notch job of multi-tasking keeping all six of us baited, untangled, and reeling in fish after fish! Anthony was super personable and in between the excitement of every fish we caught, he shared his personal story and knowledge of each of the fish varieties we caught. He was super engaging with everyone in our group (ages 15-60) and carried on friendly conversation with everyone throughout the entire trip! Although both Tyler and Anthony were very professional and top notch fishermen, they were also a lot of fun and it made for a day we'll all remember forever! The next time we visit family in Sarasota, we'll be going again! Now stop reading reviews and hovering over that "Book Now" button and get that trip scheduled!)

5 stars isn’t enough. These are great guys who will really put you on the fish. We caught a whole bunch of huge snapper and grouper, some amberjacks and even a giant shark! Go out with Sarasota Offshore if you’re serious about catching fish.

Captain Tyler is bad at responding whether it’s phone calls or emails but this place is not a scam. He’s to busy showing people the time of their life on his charter boat. Well worth the money and will never go with another captain again. Best time ever, will be loyal to this crew moving forward!

Amazing trip. Masterful captain and mate seemed to have us catching fish all day. Far exceeded expectations. Caught our limit of grouper and caught two large cobia accompanying a whale shark they spotted. Hats off to the captain and mate. Took great care of us and made an unforgettable day for us. Can’t wait to go out again.

Highly recommend! We did the 4 hour morning charter and wished we did the 6 hour! We caught King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel! Easy booking! Great communication! Fabulous fishing guide! Definitely will book again!

Out with Captain (Magic) Mike and mate Anthony. We had a FANTASTIC time. Both were knowledgeable and super hard working. They were also a real blast to have aboard and interacted splendidly. Highly recommend this crew and company and can't wait to go again.

Captain Mike and Mate Anthony were awesome! We had a wonderful time and even had a group of dolphins interact with the boat! We all reeled in at least one or two fish. I highly recommend them!

My review is different from the norm. I had a trip booked for 1st week of March 2023. Unfortunately I had to cancel the other day 02/04/23. By this morning on 02/07/23, my deposit was returned and waiting on me. It took me 2 try’s over a few days to reach someone. By my own choosing, I never left a message to receive a return call back. 3rd time was a charm, everything like I said at the beginning was swift and prompt.

We have booked for 3 years in a row with Tyler now. Honestly he's wore us out all 3 times! My arms hurt for a week when I got home from reeling in so many fish. Haha We will only book through him now when in Florida. Best fishing experience we've ever had.

Afternoon trip w/ Tyler and Mike- couldn’t ask for better. Relaxed atmosphere w/ plenty of keepers landed. Will definitely task them w/ another trip in the near future.

We went fishing with them on 11/14. The water was rough to start and I wasn’t holding out hope for a huge catch. Started off getting some live bait. Then out we went. When the other boats went out far, we didn’t but man did we catch fish. We came close to catching the limits on grouper, a lot of snapper, and a lot of things that we couldn’t keep and had to put back. I also am from the NY area and fishing for fluke is different than the grouper we were catching. The mate, had alot of tips to help me catch down here and we had a blast. When we came back to the docks, when the other boats had one or two fish we had a full rack.

Had an amazing fishing trip with Tyler and Anthony. They put us on the fish. Will definitely book them next time we are in Sarasota.

Words won't be enough! Captain Tyler was great and first mate Anthony was a BEAST! Anthony had us reeling in 3 or 4 fish at the same time. There was 4 in our party. 4 hour trip we caught 12 fish total, didn't get to keep all but we went home with 9 delicious fish! Fish Tales is a great vessel to go out on.
Hands down the BEST crew to go with!

Booked a 12 hour offshore charter and a few days prior get a call from Captain Mike that weather was not looking good and wanted to know if making it a 4 hour trip would be OK. I said yes but let's not close the option as weather does change rapidly. Weather was a little rough to start but came down nicely as the day progreesd. End up with an amazing 10 hour trip for some amazing fishing. Catain Mike and Mate Aaron both went over and beyond expected to make sure we caught BIG fish, which is all we wanted to do. My brother hooks into a large fish that tangled him in the props of the boat. Captain see a Trophy Cobia jump next to the boat and says that is the hooked fish stuck in the prop. Knowing the quality of this fish, Aaron the mate instantly jumped in and swims under the boat to try and untangle the line from the props, two tries under and can't get it. Captain sees the line coming from under the boat, Aaron swims out grabs the line with the fish pulling, hands it up to the captain who cuts and splices the line and my brother gets a 49.12 pound cobia to the boat. Unbelievable service and only concern was to get the fish on the boat. The boat is in very nice condition and top quality well maintained Shimano Talica 16 2 speeds. I booked an inshore trip for Snook and red fish for tomorrow because they were such a great outfit and didn't realize they also have inshore boats to Charter. Will review inshore then but I know it will be 5 star again. Thanks Captain Mike and Aaron, Tyler you have two great employees representing your Company.
